    I knew it took years for fruit trees to grow that big, but I didn't think it would take almost 40 years 😱 my neighbor has a HUGE orange tree and now I wonder how old it is. It was that tall already when we moved into this house 18 years ago.

    I have a potted clementine orange plant that I’ve kept outside during the spring, summer, and fall but I bring it inside for the winter. It’s turning 5 years old this year and it still hasn’t produced any fruit. Is it a lost cause? I’m planning on putting it in the soil this year, but I’m just worried that it will never produce anything. Any thoughts or information that could help me??

    • @saptahikgyan
      @saptahikgyan  2 года назад +1

      if that tree is grow from seeds it will produce fruit from 5 to 7 years but if it is grafted plant it will produce fruit from 2nd year.

    How long until an orange tree starts to die/become unproductive through age?
    I have 5 trees, and they've been here since my grandparents bought the house in the 60~70's, and were probably planted when it was built back then, I've done all I could to reverse decades of neglect- and most of them are back to looking healthy and even starting to produce fruit again for the first time in years, but they aren't fully recovered and 1 of them still looks sickly...
    Any ideas?

    • @saptahikgyan
      @saptahikgyan  2 года назад +1

      this trees are grafted on trifoliate orange. temperature during summer 30 to 37 degrees and during winter 0 to 15 degrees. orange trees will healthy -3 to 45 degrees temperature but before -minus temperature you have remove all fruits from trees.
