  • I was inspired to write a narrative poem with elements of lyric poetry after reading Galatians 6:9.
HERE IS MY COLLECTION OF THOSE POEMS WRITTEN IN 1991.
Since I’m not a strong singer or composer, I used AI to create the musical arrangement and vocals in 2024 when I saw RUclips videos asking AI to write various songs in various genres.
So, I decided to see if AI can make the music and lyrics to go with my poems and I put them or will put them on youtube. Admittedly, my vocal skills aren’t great-perhaps reminiscent of Roseanne Barr’s rendition of the national anthem-but I hope the message and essence of the poem shine through regardless!
    Hold On (Galatians 6:9)
    (Pop)
    Verse 1:
    We’re chasing dreams, running fast,
But sometimes the days don’t seem to last,
Galatians says don’t let it go,
In time, the good will show.
    Chorus:
    Hold on, hold tight,
The harvest’s gonna come when the time is right,
Don’t give up, just stay true,
In the end, it’ll come to you.
    Verse 2:
When the world feels heavy, and your heart’s in pain,
Keep on movin’, dance in the rain,
The seeds you’ve sown will bloom so bright,
Just keep walkin' toward the light.
    Verse 3:
Every step, every tear you’ve cried,
There’s a blessing on the other side,
Don’t lose hope, don’t give in,
In due time, we’re gonna win.
    Bridge:
The road is tough, but we’re strong enough,
There’s a promise in the push and shove,
Galatians tells us, don’t grow tired,
    Keep on goin’, stay inspired.
    Outro:
    Hold on, don’t lose sight,
The harvest’s gonna come when the time is right.
