I’ve been watching grocery hauls since I got on youtube back in 2019. I only found the bookish videos a year ago. I think it’s fun to see what people in other parts of the world buy at the grocery store.
🌊🐙 Oh no girl not the coke 🍉 What the river knows had me the same way too. So interested and that twist ending was bleh Our Wives Under the sea, I went in for sapphic and got weird horror + geography class 😂
If you liked the idea of What the River Knows but not the execution, I highly recommend Empire of Shadows by Jaqueline Benson! It’s got the same adventure/The Mummy vibes with slow burn romance, highlights social issues at the time and doesn’t end on a cliffhanger! Plus it’s set in South America
🪼🪼🪼 i just finished the one dark window series last month! i really enjoyed it! two twisted crowns specifically. it was a very fast and satisfying read for me !!
I love your critique of What the River Knows! A very vibey, YA historical fantasy. Also the coffee spillage was too real cause why is that me on a daily/weekly basis 🐠🐠
Hi Mel!! I hope you feel better! I've been reading A Court Of Mist And Fury for the past week almost (tomorrow will mark a week). I went to Barnes and Noble earlier today to try and read and find what books I want for my birthday. I ended up getting the collector's edition of A Court Of Thorns And Roses since it's the only book in the ACOTAR series that's a collector's edition, hardcover and paperback. I'm excited to get the series in hardback for my birthday in August once I ask someone in my family or extended family to get it as a birthday gift.
I FINALLY finished Words of Radiance! Also, wanted to say how much I love how articulate you are when reviewing your reads! I always look forward to hearing about the books you decide to read/review! 🐠
I really enjoyed Our Wives Under The Sea but I did also give it a 4. I just loved the character studies told in such a beautiful lyrical writing style. It's a book I'll want to reread at some point and annotate. Just not quite 5-star material though😊❤
🐟 I liked what the river knows I thought it could have been a bit shorter, the last 20 pages 😳. Our wives under the sea was to strange for me I think, lol I wanted answers to everything.

I love how you discuss books. It's so thorough without giving any particular spoilers.
The hair the flawless skin the energetic vibes are giving !!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤

Finished Glass Sword two days ago, eagerly waiting for my copy of King's Cage to arrive along with A Queen of Nothing!

I loved Our Wives. The writing was beautiful and it was scary in its own way. And the ending I SOBBED (but I legit sob at everythingggggg)
I also just read what the river knows this week and loved it too but it wasn’t a 5 stars which is weird! Hope u loved it!😊❤️
The edamame looks so good! Share the recipe 🥹
