The video says to add one cup of boiling water to the creamy recipes but the description below the video says 1/2 cup. Could you clarify which one it is?

Ok, Queen, I made the Creamy Raspberry Jello Dessert for our Memorial Day party yesterday. It was beautiful and people loved it! The only problem (and I was the only one who noticed) was that both layers were a little loose and runny, as though it had not gelled enough. I had allowed the translucent layer to sit in the fridge for nearly six hours before adding the pudding-like layer; I had the finished product in the fridge overnight for 22 hours before removing from the mold. I used the same jello mold that you used in the video. Why do you think it was so runny? BTW, thanks so much for this recipe! Three women asked me for the recipe and I directed them to your RUclips channel.
Hi. It should only take about 2 hours for the gelatin fruit layer to set in the fridge. Also, you need to make sure that you add the exact amount of water and not the amount directed on the jello box. Once you top the gelatin layer with the creamy layer, it should only take about 6 hours and you are ready to remove it from the mold. At this time, the layers are sealed together and should not be loose. I hope this helps. :)
Hello! I’m going to try this right away! Can I ask where you got the container you made your dessert in? I really have a hard time figuring out how to let the jello out of my silicon mould.
i suggest greasing your mold with butter/flavourless oil then pouring your jelly in. in addition, once the jelly is set, you can pour hot water in a bowl then place your mold in the bowl BUT ONLY FOR A FEW SECONDS!! perhaps around 4 seconds? if you leave it in for too long the jelly would melt!! you can go ahead and flip it then and it should pop right out
Hi. I purchased my mould in a store where they sell Tupperware and kitchen supplies. But, you can find them online. Amazon sells them as well. Make sure that you lightly grease your mould with vegetable oil or any flavorless oil. As long as it's greased, you shouldn't have any problems :)
Hi. For best results, I suggest that you use half & half cream. Heavy cream has a high fat content and your mixture may split and become very bubbly after blending. I hope this helps. :)
Hi. Honestly, I have never made this dessert using only milk. It is important to use half & half cream in this recipe because that is what will give the creaminess in this dessert :)
Making this as I type...just have one question ... for the pudding layer in the video you say to dissolve the jello with 1 cup of boiling water but in the written directions you have 1/2 cup. I read the comments but no one had asked the question yet. If you could clarify I'd appreciate it.
They didn’t answer the question. The problem you have highlighted has not been answered. The video and the recipe in the description are different in the amount of water added to the 2nd lot of Jello (Jelly to us Aussies). I will ask the question again.
Hello. As I mentioned in the previous message, the full recipe is in the description box. All the correct measurements and quantities are there for you. Enjoy ur day
Last question: What size can of condensed milk? Is it equal to one cup? That's really one question, isn't it? I guess that is actually 3 questions. Thanks in advance!
OMG!! Looks amazing! Love it! Definitely going to make this!
Thanks for the recipe
Awesome CREAMY RASPBERRY JELLY
THANK YOU for giving measurements that I don't need a conversion chart to figure out.
You’re welcome 😊
Looks amazing!

Question:: Can I use heavy cream instead of half & half? Thanks!

Do I have to put the half and half or can I use regular milk

Hello MS. Queen G
Where did you get your mold?
Hi. I bought mine at a Tupperware store. You may purchase them online through amazon or etsy. :)
You didn’t give the size of the jello
Hi. The jello package size that I used in this recipe is 85g. :)
