I don’t normally comment on videos on here, but THANK YOU for this video!!! I’ve been trying to figure this stitch out for weeks and your video was paced perfectly and explained a lot. I started to understand how the pattern fit together instead of just blindly following it. Thank you again, I can’t wait to finish my new project 😊
Fun!! I'm going to challenge myself and try this in the round. I'll be making socks for a toddler, and I think this would be cute in the leg portion :)
This is great, they would be great to make some Guernsey sweaters, it's great that most of those sweater patterns are flat knit and pearl combo's! Thank you!! 😍🤗💗🌷😁
To knit a blanket for a throw over on legs or a double bed how many stitches would i need? i dont get when pattern says multiples plus 1 or 2! how can you still work out stitches for a bed! also i like a border as well. do you count the border extra stitches? Thanks i use a lot of your stitches in your book.
Hi Kristen, how do you decrease this stitch? I am knitting a hat with circular needles using this stitch pattern in the round. However, I don’t know how to decrease maintaining the pattern. Is there an instruction for this?
@@studioknit Yay! Loving your Tumbling Blocks blanket pattern. It is stitching up pretty quickly for me. It will be about 40x60 in worsted weight. I am also thinking of combining a couple of your patterns to make another blanket. The pennant pleating in the center with hurdles one each side. Wish me luck LOL
@@studioknit The swatch came out really cool! In the blanket, there will be several more columns of pennants in the body. Here is a pic if you want to see it. I call it Pennants and Hurdles. Kinda track & field theme LOL tames.smugmug.com/Share/Share/i-Mz24bLt/A

Cast on however many stitches you'd like your piece to be wide, but it must be divisible by 12. So, in my sample, I cast on 3 multiples of 12 = 36 stitches. Hope this helps!

Hey,
I love your videos.
Is there a way to make the chevron lines wider?
Thank you!
Is this mean all the even rows are knit knits and purl the purls ? Is that right ?
Very good
I totally want those knitting needles
I know, I love them! Tried to find a link to share with others, but seems they're discontinued. "Blue Flower" from ChiaoGoo.
Can we make this pattern in 2 colours?
I love this
Thank you!
Can you knit a orange
Thank you very much!
You're welcome!
I am true beginner, do I cast on 12 stitches or 24 stitches???understand the pattern but cast on in multiple of 12 got me lost. Thanks for help.
depend on how wide u want ur project to be and u double it by 12

eg.
you want to do a narrow scarf, you probably cast on 24 stitch..
or you wana do a baby blanket, you probably want to cast on 72 stitch
Interesting
Thanks, Joy!
If I worked this in the round, could I conceivably make a cocoon? Got a new grand baby coming
Yes, fun and cozy idea!
Where can I buy your book?
Would like to get the book. How do I go about it.
Intrested to buy. Let me know the options. Thanks
Cool
I did it
I started to make this pattern
Tried my best
But ended up with another pattern not bad but not chevron 😂😂
