    I don’t normally comment on videos on here, but THANK YOU for this video!!! I’ve been trying to figure this stitch out for weeks and your video was paced perfectly and explained a lot. I started to understand how the pattern fit together instead of just blindly following it. Thank you again, I can’t wait to finish my new project 😊

    To knit a blanket for a throw over on legs or a double bed how many stitches would i need? i dont get when pattern says multiples plus 1 or 2! how can you still work out stitches for a bed! also i like a border as well. do you count the border extra stitches? Thanks i use a lot of your stitches in your book.

    Hi Kristen, how do you decrease this stitch? I am knitting a hat with circular needles using this stitch pattern in the round. However, I don’t know how to decrease maintaining the pattern. Is there an instruction for this?

      @@studioknit Yay! Loving your Tumbling Blocks blanket pattern. It is stitching up pretty quickly for me. It will be about 40x60 in worsted weight. I am also thinking of combining a couple of your patterns to make another blanket. The pennant pleating in the center with hurdles one each side. Wish me luck LOL

      @@studioknit The swatch came out really cool! In the blanket, there will be several more columns of pennants in the body. Here is a pic if you want to see it. I call it Pennants and Hurdles. Kinda track & field theme LOL

    I am true beginner, do I cast on 12 stitches or 24 stitches???understand the pattern but cast on in multiple of 12 got me lost. Thanks for help.

    • @joeywong11
      @joeywong11 4 года назад

      depend on how wide u want ur project to be and u double it by 12

    • @studioknit
      @studioknit  4 года назад

      Cast on however many stitches you'd like your piece to be wide, but it must be divisible by 12. So, in my sample, I cast on 3 multiples of 12 = 36 stitches. Hope this helps!

    • @joeywong11
      @joeywong11 4 года назад

      eg.
      you want to do a narrow scarf, you probably cast on 24 stitch..
      or you wana do a baby blanket, you probably want to cast on 72 stitch
