Weather Report's Theme is finally here!
I decided to finally play some live piano in this one as I am a pianist if you guys didn't know :)
The way I treated this arrangement was by giving myself some freedom for it, not only with instrumentation but also musical ideas, as I want there to be a reason to listen to my covers so that they're not made redundant by the release of the official music, so you have 2 similar and very different takes on the same theme! :)
I hope you enjoy this because I've been looking forward to sharing this with you guys for ages!!
I actually started on this after the Universe Reset cover I did, but I wasn't pleased with it as it didn't match the standards that I set for myself and this channel, as a result, I abandoned it till further notice, then I returned to it after my MiH Requiem video to flesh it out and I think I can say that I am way more proud of it now compared to what it was before!!

@@nelzyr both of my last uploads were already done, I was just waiting to get the thumbs up from Spotify before uploading. It took a while and a few distributor issues but it got sorted and now I'm uploading what I was working in!:)
I've got 2 more completed uploads coming this week as well!:D

This is as always so much good... especially the part when the theme is on low volume and you can hear the violins and when the pucci theme starts... that's truly majestic
I tried to show more contrast this time around so I'm glad you liked it when the volume was lower, I really paid attention to every subtle detail I could from the theme so I'm glad you enjoyed!😄🙏

Holy crap, you weren't lying when you said this was good. The piano at the beginning was amazing, and set up the vibe perfectly, and the gradual build in tension for everything to be much grander during the second chorus was done really well. And the Pucci theme leitmotif was a very creative way to end things off! amazing job as always bro, I'm excited for your future releases.

Something I didn't do as much in other covers is have actual balance or contrast between certain sections, so that was the main thing I tried working on for this piece.

Those violins and piano are... (sigh) *HEAVENLY.* I also like how it contrasts with Samuel Kim version, since that one is far more intense, while this one tries to have more emotions into it and more instrumentation to accomplish that. And yet, compared at the same time to Carameii version, this one manages to be calmer and have a more varied instrumentation, without taking away the intensity in the parts that need it, like each time the violins go crazy. In any case, yet another awesome arrangement, loved it!
The biggest objective I had for making this was for it to not just be a copy of the original theme or be similar to anyone else's version, but to have its own interpretation shown, otherwise what's the point of listening to this if there are other versions of the same thing but better hahahaha

Now throughout the fight it is misleading because it allways seem to start when focused on weather......
But idk after the JJF fight you never hear it when the Rian comes for FF, when weather tries to deal with bohemean raspody, when weather awakens his memory, when emporio fights pucci with heavy weather report it *never plays again*
Now if the ost comes out they may have called it weathers theme but that makes it so odd because it never plays after JJF even though there is plenty weather moments
