For Cine Mode, I did not see you describe Expo (Pitch/Roll, Yaw, Up/Down) settings. Has the newest update changed the menu?

23:15 The subtitles include telemetry data including GPS position that is sometimes useful to have, and it is completely free of downsides as it's text embedded in the file _as subtitle_ that can be turned off. You actual video is not affected. I'd recommend just always having it on.
Yes, I must admit that I leave this setting on just so I can see some of the stats when I replay the raw files in VLC Player.
Mattheww You are, in my book, one of the Drone masters! Your teaching techniques are superb, thorough, to the point and easy to understand. And you do all of this with a variety of Drones! Bless you for sharing your knowledge!
It took me several years to come to terms with the fact DJI normal color profiles and the Auto settings are pretty damn good, and a huge time saver.
Just got my Mini 3 Pro a few weeks ago. This is my first drone so I've been trying to dive into all the ins and outs of capturing video and photos as well as the specific features of this drone. Lots of great info in this video and channel. Can't wait to try out these suggestions. Thanks!

Great job, thank you. I'm pretty new to my M3pro and, considering that I'm old enough to remember my parent's' crank telephone and wood cook stove, the first couple of weeks were spent in just getting relatively comfortable with control of movement. (Walking down logging roads with the drone ahead of me for example.) The grandkids, to nobody's surprise, catch on to that aspect a tad faster.
I was stumped by camera exposure settings, you've been a big help.

also when using spotlight its good to wait to have a gps marker pop up before you start your shot. you may have to eneter poi to get the gps to lock in.

Your videos are marvelous. I just got my Mini 3 Pro and your directions are helpful. The only problem I am having while getting oriented to everything is that the drone and camera have to be on to move around in these various menu settings and while you are cruising around in and out of settings you have been to many times, it take a newbie a few more seconds and then the drone overheats.
The other small problem I am having which is related is that the touch screen does not respond so well to my touch and I find myself having to tap tap tap to get the screen transition to respond. That adds some time and meanwhile the drone is over heating.
Very good tutorial Matthew! Just had my first flight with these settings and I thing the Cinematic is perfect.

Great video! Only one point that needs clarification: at 20:18 on screen setting for Tilt Smoothness is 10 and you say 20 (at least '20' is what I seem to hear) So, what is your Sport setting for Gimbal Tilt Smoothness? Thanks, and again your videos are extremely helpful👍

Just bought a Mini 3 pro to replace a Mini 2 as I was missing the obstacle avoidance and tracking on my original Mavic Pro, but need a drone under 250 grams to fly in close proximity to people. Just be aware if you buy one that it doesn’t come with a charger apparently, even in the Fly more pack, unlike every DJI drone I’ve previously had. So good job the Mini 2 charger seems to be working with it!

Great leaning video like I have not seen from many other trying to do the same. One thing, I do not see the Style menu under the White Balance at the end of the video on my RC pro, unless they have removed it between then to now.

amazing vid! which white balance would you recommend at photos? 5400?
I think it is better to use H.265 as it allows to shooting in 10 bit. H.264 only allows 8 bit, which can create color banding and other unwanted artifact in post production.
is that only in cinelike? In normal profile it is max 8?

Happy to help! It can be daunting at first when beginning to fly a drone but stick with it and it will get easier. These settings should give you slower and smoother results. I recommend the Freewell All Day 6 pack as that kit has the range of ND filters you will most often use on bright days. Will these be the same settings for the Mini 2 for best cinematic footage?
It reminds me of back in the day when we had to have CB license to talk on a CB radio, but no one was ever checked, and very few even went to the trouble of getting the license and it faded away just like the remote ID wheel
Matthew, I recently got a mini 3 pro for trip to Iceland. Your videos have help me so much in preparation for this trip cause last thing I want to do is loose my opportunity to get the shots while I'm there. One issue I've come across that I can't find videos on is doing slow mo with the mini 3 pro. I know it has its own slo mo feature but their version doesn't do it in 4k. I was wondering if there is another way to do slow mo with this drone and davinci resolve so I can have my 4k quality with slow mo beauty? But what makes me absolutely mad is the tutorial video that pops up every single time i use tracking when turned off scanning. Do you know if that can be disabled somewhere?
