I am sure that Burnout is a problem for sellers whose only income is reselling. I have the luxury of having retirement income and so when I get tired of selling I can just stop.
Don't get me wrong, though, because my lifestyle would be significantly worse without the selling income, especially after the last 4 years of inflation. So I do try to keep a schedule of working.
I have made a little donation to the community member in need and I encourage all who can to give as well.

Thanks Jon for being so raw/honest about your feelings. There are many high days of reselling for me, but there are times where I feel down and it's refreshing to hear I'm not alone.

My burnout started after a weird interaction with one of my local suppliers. It just took the wind out of my already damaged sails. I just checked out for 2 weeks and didnt source which had a domino effect on the whole operation. Then I went on vacation and it did help reset my brain. . But now I am paying the price and trying to claw back to sales. I even looked at returning to my FT career during those couple weeks.

TY. The last straw was some corn on the cob that I ate and it made me look like a corn on the cob Christmas tree. I’m like I’m done.

It took me 10 years to get over the burnout.
It is so tough. Everytime I am not working I think oh no, is it back.
Never again. Let’s all make it our mission to look after ourselves first.
Beard could sell exlax on Amazon with a coupon for jon store for a new toilet seat and jon could put a coupon on for Josh so they can buy art for the bathroom wall to look at. It will be the circle of reselling.

josh, i think its the slow down.. happens to me. i list and list and nothing happens... so i think to myself, why list all this if it wont sell? ya know?

Yes that happens to me sometimes for sure. “I have 18k items and 2 sales today. What does it matter if I list 10 more today. I am going to go to the gym instead”. I have that conversation with myself a few times a week now.

Not sure people have burnout. Many sellers are talking about lack of sales. So many times over the past months I have seriously considered closing my store and moving on.....
I have felt that frustration over the years. This is why I’ve decided not to fight the trend and just go with whatever it gives me. That stress and frustration, and not knowing what the issue is, or why it randomly turns off sometimes, can definitely burn you out.
