'Hey Joe' by Jimi Hendrix is a song that I was very hesitant to cover. Although Jimi Hendrix didn't write this song I always feel like it is a Jimi song, and it has had a huge impact on me especially in my early guitar playing days. I hope you dig it and please Like, Comment, Share and Subscribe!

Great cover, Jay! I worked with a guy named Joe in the 90s. Every morning I would see him and ask "Hey Joe, where you goin' with that gun in yo' hand?" We were both about 30 years old.
One day he stopped me and asked why I always asked him that. I told him to hunt down the song and get back to me.
He saw me the next day and was ecstatic! He couldn't believe the lyrics, cadence and vibe. I never hear this song anymore without thinking about Joe. Music changes (improves) lives. Many thanks for this version, Brother. I've turned all my closest friends onto you. Cheers!
