MJ looked MUCH better in the first one, but SBI had a hand in making the sequel and it's readily apparent just how ugly MJ became. Likewise they changed Peter Parker's character model also. Literally the reason why it's so popular among men to play as a female character in video games. Female characters are just more pleasing to the eye and usually a lot more effort was put into female characters than male characters. If all the characters are ugly af simply just noone gonna play the game it's that simple. Concord was the perfect example, i rather look at a rotting apple than the concord characters.

What bothers me is they are fighting for basically no one. All the games they heavily support and approve have had barely anyone playing it. There’s no modern audience.
The modern audience isn't a demographic, it's the GOAL. They use that phrasing because it makes investors nod their heads and give them money. In reality, the goal is to basically turn everything woke, so there are no other options but DEI infested media. Then, it will become normalized and the next generations won't question it. They'll just "listen and believe". They've already started retroactively changing old games (Runescape is the first big one I've heard of) and literary publishers are already hard at work "fixing" classic literature, they're just waiting for the right time to quietly begin releasing revisions (Roald Dahl's books are being redone this way). They're starting with children's books and moving in age groups, so the DEI will infest books and media as they grow up. This way, they don't have to revise everything at once and get caught. The DEI will be scaled up, growing with the next generation that are 1-3 years old. These people want to completely and radically change society. They are legitimately terrifying people because they WILL NOT STOP. We think we're winning but this fight is going to take decades. We'll be old by the time it's over. Right now, their new rebranding is seeking to not publish their plans and data, they're just pretending to go away but are just as committed to upending things as always.

If we look at Star Wars Outlaw which majority of gamers should not know any of this happening either, it still end up with lower sales than expected. What's happening is word of mouth is what's going on that takes more precedence and many become aware just like currently what's going on with movies too. Asmongold is also right where most gamers go look at youtube videos of trailers, they will LOOK AT THE COMMENTS and then decide whether they want to buy it or not. That's where word of mouth end up reaching the ears of average gamers. Yeah there are some remasters or even remakes that have done super well, but when it comes to the newer titles of well established franchises or even new IP that becomes more of a harder sell, especially considering hard times that people fall on and may want a second opinion from a reviewer to justify the purchase.

I think this qualifies as a L by SBI. I once swore to put 5€ into a piggy bank for every L taken by SBI or their associates. By now I'm at 115€ (or about 140$).

My biggest takeaway is that they're either ignoring or intentionally lying about the average gamer. Important to note here that mobile games don't count and are a completely separate demographic. The average gamer isn't a 13 year old kid, the average gamer is a 35 year old guy. Those 35 year old guys have witnessed their cancerous ideology develop into what it is now, and there's no greater proof that we've had enough than Concord being a 99% loss before the refunds.

Alan Wake 2 has still not publicly made back the money invested in the game and has been on several sales. We are not publicly 100% sure that Spider-Man 2 has made a profit either, due to Sony not fully disclosing the sales numbers and the true cost of development. Therefore, it is incorrect to claim that these two games are wins for SBI.

If they hadn't spent the money on a game that only broke even, they could've instead kept it in the bank to earn interest or spent it on developing a game that actually made a significant profit. It's not coming to Steam to get a real release until it makes a profit on Epic. No game makes a profit on Epic. Developers see Epic as a soft launch to fix bugs before a Steam release.

Literally the reason why it's so popular among men to play as a female character in video games. Female characters are just more pleasing to the eye and usually a lot more effort was put into female characters than male characters. What bothers me is they are fighting for basically no one.
All the games they heavily support and approve have had barely anyone playing it. There’s no modern audience.
The modern audience isn't a demographic, it's the GOAL. They use that phrasing because it makes investors nod their heads and give them money.
In reality, the goal is to basically turn everything woke, so there are no other options but DEI infested media. Then, it will become normalized and the next generations won't question it. They'll just "listen and believe".
They've already started retroactively changing old games (Runescape is the first big one I've heard of) and literary publishers are already hard at work "fixing" classic literature, they're just waiting for the right time to quietly begin releasing revisions (Roald Dahl's books are being redone this way). They're starting with children's books and moving in age groups, so the DEI will infest books and media as they grow up. This way, they don't have to revise everything at once and get caught.
The DEI will be scaled up, growing with the next generation that are 1-3 years old.
These people want to completely and radically change society. They are legitimately terrifying people because they WILL NOT STOP.
We think we're winning but this fight is going to take decades. We'll be old by the time it's over. Right now, their new rebranding is seeking to not publish their plans and data, they're just pretending to go away but are just as committed to upending things as always.

If we look at Star Wars Outlaw which majority of gamers should not know any of this happening either, it still end up with lower sales than expected. What's happening is word of mouth is what's going on that takes more precedence and many become aware just like currently what's going on with movies too. Asmongold is also right where most gamers go look at youtube videos of trailers, they will LOOK AT THE COMMENTS and then decide whether they want to buy it or not. That's where word of mouth end up reaching the ears of average gamers.

I was only allowed to steal cars in GTA but I wasn’t permitted to fight the police if they chased me or do any missions cause then I’d be shooting people. So to make sure I was still allowed to have fun in my strictly no murder GTA sessions my brother gave me a list of cheat codes for rare vehicles. Anyway my point is you’re a bad older sibling.

@@genkureshima9834 while yes there are still old games, the casual audience doesn't really see it that way, talking from a generalized POV, they look at the new and shiny ones that are advertised to their faces on the latest hardware. Yeah there are some remasters or even remakes that have done super well, but when it comes to the newer titles of well established franchises or even new IP that becomes more of a harder sell, especially considering hard times that people fall on and may want a second opinion from a reviewer to justify the purchase.

My biggest takeaway is that they're either ignoring or intentionally lying about the average gamer. Important to note here that mobile games don't count and are a completely separate demographic. The average gamer isn't a 13 year old kid, the average gamer is a 35 year old guy. Alan Wake 2 has still not publicly made back the money invested in the game and has been on several sales. We are not publicly 100% sure that Spider-Man 2 has made a profit either, due to Sony not fully disclosing the sales numbers and the true cost of development. Therefore, it is incorrect to claim that these two games are wins for SBI.
Since when is clearing the black a "success" in the first place? Congratulations you broke even...you are just as successful as if you've done nothing at all. I mean it's better than losing money but I wouldn't usually call it a win.

If they hadn't spent the money on a game that only broke even, they could've instead kept it in the bank to earn interest or spent it on developing a game that actually made a significant profit. In other words, they still suffer a REAL cost from lost interest as well as an opportunity cost from not making a more successful game.
Which I consider kind of sad for Alan Wake 2. More since I actually liked the game. I like most products Remedy Studios make and are fun to play. Now SBI tarnishes their products by association.

It's not coming to Steam to get a real release until it makes a profit on Epic. No game makes a profit on Epic. Developers see Epic as a soft launch to fix bugs before a Steam release.
