    I have just started watching your videos, they are very straight forward, very clear.
    As far as this specific video, it isn’t very clear if you would take over the roll of the four employees, because when you show the final numbers this is what I understood.
    Thank you.

    Yes, the dispatchers job will be eliminated, I don't see how you can do those other jobs.

      Hire an experienced professional in the industry to save yourself the time of having yo handle it by yourself. Or just offer the bare minimum safety management.

    When you talk about the employee that is in charge of Safety - can you elaborate a but more on what that is and how a freight dispatcher would be covering that too?

    • @covenantdispatchllc7644
      @covenantdispatchllc7644  Год назад +3

      Sure, a safety manager would essentially be the one in charge of making sure the fleet of trucks are in order with compliance like for example logbook audits, ELD’s, CSA scores, etc.

      Good question. I have the same question

    • @nikrich3729
      @nikrich3729 Год назад +1

      Exactly. I can understand getting rid of the in-house dispatcher but a dispatcher taking on the role of an accountant or safety manager seems to be over reaching. Never expose yourself to liabilities beyond the scope of the duties specified in the dispatcher-carrier agreement. If anything leverage the fact that as a dispatcher you can funnel information to the accountant or safety person as needed as per the data you've captured from your dispatching service ;)

      Yes, he would remove his employees to outsource his company, so to speak.

  • @warriors5627

    Won’t he still need the first 3 employees? Dispatchers aren’t managers or accountants for trucking company’s right ?

    • @covenantdispatchllc7644
      @covenantdispatchllc7644  2 года назад

      He wouldn’t need the employees anymore at that point. The freight dispatcher would assume those responsibilities and an independent contractor rather than an employee

    • @warriors5627
      @warriors5627 2 года назад

      @@covenantdispatchllc7644 I respectfully disagree , managing a trucking company would mean if one of the trucks tires blow I’m responsible for finding a mechanic to fix it , the drivers are just paid employees they aren’t owner operators so it’s not on them it’s on the company and as the manager that’s your responsibility, same with scheduling oil changes and any maintenance on all 10-18 trucks . along with hiring /firing employees ect . Or making sure payroll gets done for the employees/drivers wether your doing it yourself or managing the accountant and making sure they are doing it . That’s not a dispatchers job the company still needs a manager and accountant and if they want a safety manager that would be separate also . Unless your saying to learn all these things and then approach a trucking company with this same business model

      @@warriors5627 this video is a proposed blueprint and explanation on how you can elevate the attraction of your Independent Freight Dispatch Company. Of course, if you do not feel as though you are ready and need more preparation and training then it’s not for you. I know people who have personally implemented similar approaches and have succeeded and thrived off of it. Of course, if you propose this to a trucking company you want to make sure you or anyone you hire to help you is able trained to perform the tasks.

    How do you save them money don't they still have to pay their drivers

    • @covenantdispatchllc7644
      @covenantdispatchllc7644  Год назад +1

      You’re saving them money on payroll taxes, unemployment taxes, workers comp taxes, etc. Yes they still have to pay their drivers, but they have to pay them no matter what, and that has nothing to do with your agreement with them as an independent freight dispatcher. You simply charge a small percentage of the gross revenue that each truck makes per week (or however you invoice them) and they pay their drivers however they have that arranged. Does this make sense?

    • @Rashad_Ross
      @Rashad_Ross 9 месяцев назад

      I don't see how your saving the company payroll taxes. As a company owner your legally obligated to pay taxes for your employees. Tax laws and regulations are in place. Only way this will be possible if his drivers become 1099 workers then they will be responsible for their taxes and managing their income.
