I'm guessing only 2 things factor into leader board placement, first is cost and second is when it was completed (First/ second/ Third/ so on) So if you are the first one to complete it at X cost you will always be the first listed at X cost. They should put how efficient at second then third is who did it in which order.
As an American who watches a lot of British media, including cooking shows and channels, never in my nearly 30 years of life have I ever heard almond pronounced "al-mund"... 🤔

To answer your question at the end the score is given based on price if there is a tie the one who scored the price first is ranked higher
i thought it was in alphabetical order since the names started with C for the 1st place, L for the 2nd and R for the third
