I was thinking the same. It almost looks like the little evil, impolite and sarcastic part of her brain is able to intercept the message, elaborate it in parallel with the standard answer and interfere with the communication taking control of the body for a bunch of seconds. I would be very curious to know whether that "interference" is either a part of her normal thinking (subconscious)process revealed (because of the syndrome) to the listener, or an independent new thought/action generated by the syndrome.

When I think of something funny, it's almost like it just pops into my brain very out of nowhere. Sometimes it shocks me how quickly an elaborate humorous phrase or image assembles itself-a kind of creative spasm. I think it's like this for everyone. Maybe there's a common mechanism? Disclaimer: completely ignorant about neurology and Tourette's.

Forvtics it’s easy for some but harder for others
Yes, it can get hard with tics. But not everyone has it as bad as she does, and some have it worse. My tics are not quite as bad as hers and they don't happen as often as they used to. But I do agree that it is difficult sometimes, and it's probably worse on camera because everytime that she looks at the camera she remembers her tics, and that makes it worse. I am very happy that she laughs at her tics though because it would be so much harder if she didn't.

She's the best kind of crazy. I've never actually met someone who suffers from this stuff, but I can definitely sympathise. It must be a real pain in the ass to fit in socially... This community will love her though so I don't feel too sad about it.
Everyone should love her. Her laugh is infectious and her soul is wonderful.
She is NOT crazy. Tourette's is not a psychiatric condition, even people with panic attacks and depression are "crazier" than her.

@@lyudmiltsvetanov2385 Tourettes is a neurological (psychiatric) condition. It's cause by misfiring neurons (the things that allow your brain to communicate with your body and tell it to do things). It's like having an irregular heartbeat, except in the brain.
Tourette's is also often comorbid with other neurological conditions, such as anxiety, depression, etc.
I know what you're trying to say though (I think?).
But ya... the condition itself stems from the connection to the brain and has a lot of mental/mood effects

I'd much rather be around someone with Tourrettes than someone who hides things. I think you are amazing and you bring joy and laughter to all. Looping tics can really hurt especially if they're motor. It's always hard when it's triggered by something common like someone saying "hello"

Evie, you don’t need to apologize for having Tourette Syndrome. It’s good to educate people on what Tourette’s is and how it effects you but never apologize. If people feel the need to judge you, that’s their ignorance. Hang in there! 😊

It's been a rough patch of life for me lately, because I've been struggling with tics. These tics just came, and I'm so glad I found your channel because it's helping me out so much. Don't know how many of you know this: people call Tourettes "the swearing disorder," but Coprolalia (what Evie has, saying random words and swears) actually only affects 10% of people with TS, so not everyone has it.
Truth! I only recently learned that there's a type of tourettes that will write as a tic while writing or drawing.

Btw anyone who doesn’t have tik tok. Evie’s tics started when she was 12 she had hiccups all the time. She did have signs of tics when she was about 10.
