You're right on “it was a front sight that enabled me to shoot better". After almost 3 years, I figured the same idea as well. Of course, a good trigger will also help a lot.
Well you’ve confirmed what I’ve heard previously Duc that CZ handguns are kicking GLOCK off the charts! I’m jot a BIG auto pistol guy not do much because of vision issues at my age since cathartic surgery has greatly improved my vision! But I find pistol shooting a challenge and semi-autos a bear to clean! Good video and product review! 🎯

I feel so fortunate to have one of these CZ 75D Compact PCR pistols. It's such an awesome shooter and my PCR gets the nod for EDC. I did buy a stainless steel recoil rod and a S7 tool steel trigger pin from M-Carbo and Dawson tritium night sights from Cajun Gunworks for the PCR. I plan to purchase a trigger reduction spring kit from M-Carbo as well.

I purchased the CZ PCR a few months ago, I really like it, comfortable to shoot, accurate, well made. I have put about 400 rds thru it so far. The sights sucked, installed the Tru Glo TFX Pro Trillium sights on it . I have been shooting Sigs for a long time. This CZ is right up there as far as quality goes.
I immediately changed the rubbers grips for factory aluminum grips (silver). Also replaced the roll pin firing pin retaining pin for a CZ Custom SOLID retaining pin.
In your experience do these shoot low from the factory?! I was having to aim really high to hit steel my first time out with my new compact. My 1911 and M&P 9 shoot dead center but this gun requires me to shoot quiet high to hit center.
I love everything else about the gun though. The recoil is so smooth. Mine has a safety and no decocker. I am in California. I plan on getting new sights that are setup how my other guns sights are.
@@vameathunter2771 after lots of research this seems to be normal with this gun. The sight picture is setup differently than American made guns I’m finding out. I’m planning on getting new sights anyways so maybe I can remedy it
nice review of a nice pistol, but i believe that the best handgun for a woman or nongunner is a 38sp revolver with decent grips and wadcutter ammo for softer recoil.

I agree completely. This is often the mistake. The chamber indicated /PCR I am told is rare here in the states. Find one, buy it. NO press checks for me, ever. 👍 2a🇺🇸
I have same pistol around 500 rounds the pistol wouldn’t shoot, I clean it every time I shoot it . According to what I seen on line the firing pin retaining pin started getting damage. Replace retaining pin 100 rounds every thing ok. If I would have known this I would not have bought it .
Cz is my favorite firearm manufacturer. I was so glad when they bought Colt.

I have a regular one in my local gun shop, not the PCR version. Is it worth it?

The PCR is really great to shoot at the range. Smooth trigger pull, low recoil, and accurate. Looking for an OWB holster for it.

Yes, I had few shooting high where I had to have my sights covering over the target.

@@vameathunter2771 thank you. I was shooting my 1911 offhand and hitting steel with my normal aim but the CZ was way off when doing that.
Be sure to change out your firing pin retaining pin. The stock pin is a mild, rolled steel pin, and it will fail. CZ Custom sells solid steel pins.

The compact does not have a chamber indicator. You have a PCR
The nose is noticeably different from the Compact.

That's not right 😒, I shot over 3000 rounds on my CZ P-01 and had no issue at all. Sorry to hear that.
