I'm from Marquette, but stranded in California. I'm homesick for the natural beauty. I give you great credit for dipping in the water, always cold to me. The U.P. is like another world.. Go visit.
It's not Bare Bluff (even though there are no trees on it) it's Bear Bluff due to a naturally occuring outline of a bear on the bluff easily visible from Bete Grise (Not Copper Harbor).
Summer in the UP ? Better take advantage of that real quick😂 It is also a nice time of year in northern Wisconsin, last year it happened on a Wednesday🙃
Hahaha YES! That was a total accident I wouldn’t have tried it has I known it would be like that but honestly I’m glad it happened! Now I know I can push it farther than i thought🤣😎
Excellent drone shots that capture the expanse of the UP’s wilderness and beauty. 💕 Thanks for the tips on places to explore! I’ll be making the trip this coming summer after almost 3 decades away. So excited! 😊
We went to several of the places you showed on your video. We also recomend the Falling Rock Cafe and bookstore in Munising. Cute and the food is delicious!!
Thank you so much for watching! And ahhh I know we didn’t film much of the van life part of this trip sadly. But the next video Andrew actually cooks over the campfire so stay tuned! :)
Usually we don’t have that problem because we download multiple offline maps. Google Maps has an option where you can save part of the map so you can view it offline when you have no service. As well as a few of the apps we use like Gia and OnX off road do as well. Hope that helps!
Hello all, hoping a few people that wander through might chime in on my question of if you could live in Marquette or Duluth what would you take and why? Thank so much
I love both cities, but they aren't very comparable. Both are very different places. Yes, both are beautiful and are on Lake Superior, but Duluth-Superior is a metro area over four times the size of Marquette with a major metro about two hours south. Marquette is truly out there on its own. Its closest major metro is Milwaukee, Wisconsin and that is well over twice as far as the Twin Cities from Duluth. One thing to decide is how you feel about snow. Duluth isn't light on snow, but the UP is truly epic. If being off the beaten path is your thing, Marquette certainly wins that battle. If access to services is important to you, Duluth is going to win hands down.

Excellent photography of the U.P. Where will you and Andrew be next? Hopefully doing another photoshoot of the U.P. this autumn.
Nice photos and videos. Thanks for taking the time. I’m a photography nut myself but can’t get out as much anymore.
Excellent video! I always love watching where you and Andrew go next. The UP is on my bucket list.
Thank you so much! We had a busy few months so there will be a lot of videos coming soon. Thanks for watching! :)
Thanks for showcasing the beauty of my home state. I haven't made it to Marquette yet and Bare Bluff looks amazing. One day...
My pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it. I hope you get to make it there one day! Thanks for watching! :)
My favorite places also, nice scenes looking down at Copper Harbor at night. Some narrow roads traveling to Mount Arvon. Absolutely love this state.
Awesome footage and story telling! And the van has legit gone off-roading now 😅

Thank you so much for watching! We are pretty much obsessed with Marquette. And yes! Always try to meet up with heather when we’re in town!
That is really beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Excellent and worth the wait!
Thank you so much! September and October were crazy busy for us but I'm finally getting caught up and there are lots of videos coming! :)
@@feliciafullwood Nice! Videos like this take work and it shows.
Excellent work! Much obliged.
Thank you so much for watching! :)
Looks like a great place to find ticks
Come back to Marquette!
You should go to Neebish Island in the St. Mary's River. I haven't been in years but it is special place. A place like I've seen before or after.
Nice to see you! Was hoping for some of Andrew’s cooking!

@@feliciafullwood looking forward to it!
EXCELENT VID. MADE ME HOMESICK. LIVING IN LOUISIANA HA HA HA. DOESN'T EVEN BEGIN TO COMPARE.
Do you guys ever struggle with having no service and getting lost?

Bring a winter coat. I know it's summertime.
