Thanks for the kind words. Yes the cake eaters are pretty good on the 50mm rims but could benefit from something a bit wider if you want to run lower pressure. I didn't have any issues though with the stock 50mm wheelset and tire combo
Any reason why you went with your own dropper? I'm planning to get the Adventure build but not sure if I should get the dropper with it or buy my own later. Looks like the one from RSD is a good deal but I don't know much about it.
At the time of recording the video PNW Components had a sale on their droppers which are as good as KS lev and had more travel 170mm vs the 150mm that is stock from RSD. If you can get PNW for $300 or less I would recommend them as I had their post on my previous bike. However the KS lev is a decent post at $300 but I would look around before going for the stock post with RSD.
Awesome review and video. That looks like a great bike! Are the CakeEaters ok on 50mm wide rims? TIA!

Great overview. I hope you enjoy the bike!
Thank you. I'm looking forward to riding it in all seasons.

Looks like a cool bike Darren!
Thanks Josie! Had the first ride today and it's great. Hope you get to try a fatbike one day, until then happy skiing and hiking.

The bike is awesome! If only the chainstay could be a little shorter with a curved seat tube
True, it's a good tradeoff though because the straight downtube let's you run a long dropper.
