18:00 Ultraman Cosmos uses a Taichi style of 'combat', in other words he's a 'passive' or a pacifist who usually tries to calm down or use non-lethal ways to deal with Kaijuu monsters because even the monsters are still 'animals' or 'beasts'. Some kaijuu are half machine like with Ultraman Ace season due to an evil entity/organization. 19:35 Ultramen are usually known to be "Beings of Light", so they're beings of light/positive energy. 22:00 The guy wasn't using his transform item to shoot at the Kaijuu, but rather it helped transform him and during the process, he's a "ball of light" that hit the Kaijuu before "materializing" into Ultraman.
Not just robots. All of the antagonists/enemies of the Ultraman series are malevolent kaijus, rogue robots, alien invaders and sometimes man-made biological weapons. The sparks are like the equivalent of bleeding. Not technically blood, it is like when a hit is so strong the remaining energy residue still leaks out from that wound.
34:55 Ultraman works on an lightly connected multiverse where each entry takes place on its own Earth unless the setting says otherwise. With Ultras having the capability but no necessity to go to other Earths protected by an Ultra, most of the time ending up in another universe by accident through external means.
The light from the beams are based on the type of cosmic energy they use. The Ultraverse is vast and there are many types of cosmic energy but the energy they all share in common is Spacium Energy. But some Ultraman don't have their own beams and instead absorb Spacium Energy into their brace to release a beam, one example is Ultraman Max who's beam is called Maximum Cannon.
Ultraman usually can be devided into 2 categories, 1 where they come to earth and disguise as a human, the other they would combine with a human and sleep/recharge their power until the human partner summon/transform into them Out of the 3 (Super sentai, Kamen rider & Ultraman) you could say Ultraman is the most kid friendly, that is why there's rarely blood, even if there's any they made it different color cause "monster blood", no matter the attack the monsters is either incapacitated or just blow up, and the fights are mostly the last 5 minutes of the whole episode.
21:06 everyone from the Ultraman race can fire some sort of light based beam attack. Fun fact they actually teach their kids to do it........again light based energy beam aka a laser. If there is a character that can dodge literal light then they're gonna be a legit threat.....so.....yeah there's some that have dodged/ straight up tank the beams lol.
yes, and while they never really went in depth about why/how the beams are different, my guess it falls into 2 category. 1 is the fighting style, some ultraman are brothers or teacher & students, that is why sometimes the names sound the same but with their own personal twist. the other is just like different light/rays have different properties (UV, x-ray, etc etc) each beam are also slightly different, that is why some ultra can only shoot forward while some can mold it into shapes, and the latest ultra can even bend/curve his beam shot
the light on each ultras chest is generally known as a color timer, when it flashes red it usually means they're reaching their time limit or they're starting to weaken as they battle. In the netflix anime, it acts a little different, only flashing when the main character activates their limiter release, allowing him to use his full power for a limited time
@ Ultraman, Ultraman Zoffy, Ultraseven, Ultraman Jack, Ultraman Ace, and Ultraman Taro are the 6 Ultra Brothers, they aren't related by blood, but their bond is so strong, they consider each other brothers. Though Ace is the adopted Brother of Taro, who is the biological son of the Mother and Father of Ultra. Ultraman Leo and his little brother Astra are also part of the Ultra Brothers, despite coming from Planet L77, which was destroyed, Leo and Astra were basically accepted into the Ultra Brothers. There's also Ultraman 80, he's kinda part of the Ultra Brothers, even though unlike the first six, he doesn't get a cool cape.

Victory is actually a secondary ultra, I don't know why he is here
He’s like Cosmos to some Extent. He tends to be friends with Some Kaiju.

@@KrothReacts The villains of Ultraman are either Kaiju, Giant Robots, or Aliens. They all explode because that's how Tokusatsu works.
@ thank you for the useful info man much appreciated
@ Ultramen are aliens from a planet known as the Land of Light, however there are also other planets where Ultras are born, like U-40 and O-50.
