This is considered the main universe, where the majority of Ultras come from. Just about every show after that takes place on an Earth in an alternate universe. Most of the time, the Ultraman of the show travels from the main universe into that universe. There are times when this isn't the case. For instance, Tiga and Gaia each originate from the universe they take place in. The origins of others, like Nexus and Blazar are mysteries that haven't been answered.
Most of the time Ultraman disguise as a human in the past to help human fight Kaiju but during the 2000s with Nexus and later series like Ginga we slowly have more human that borrow an Ultraman power becoming their host
