This is incredible. I really like the idling up and down with other sounds (brakes) mixed in. I've always loved the sound of these locomotives and this makes the perfect white noise for work.
Man, what a sound! The EMD SD70ACe is one of my favorite diesel-electric locomotives. With a great idle sound, throttle up sound and the sounds of the air compressor really makes a great therapist after a tough day at the office or sitting in bumper to bumper traffic. What the case is and if you are a die hard train lover and love EMD locomotives, than this is the perfect sound clip! I also like the sounds of the SD40-2s with NS and the R&N, and also I like the sounds of the SW8, MP15DC, and SW1500s with the R&N! There's also some other great EMD sounds out there too, but I do miss the sounds of the ex Conrail SD60 series and the 80MAC! Those were great locomotives. Hopefully you could do a sound clip of the SD80MAC or something because the 80MACs were brilliant locomotives and they will be missed and with that in mind, I won't mind a sound clip of the old Conrail SD80MAC. Idling with throttle up and air compressor sounds.
@@IsaiahsTrains that's fine. I may of thought that you would, but it's ok. I really miss those big SD80MACs. I liked when most train lovers referred them as the Cadillacs of the rails.
It skipped notch 1. Went from idle in N2 to low idle since it was in Neutral. If the reverser was in position then it would idle in notch 1 but in Neutral with brakes applied it goes straight to low idle
12 Hour Version Out Now! ruclips.net/video/os9GOrE9Gf4/видео.html
I want this played at my funeral!!!
I would be honored
Do it
Thanks for the idea!
Such a gorgeous locomotive, everything about it is amazing.
That moment when the sound of a 16 cylinder prime mover is catchier than almost all music these days

I wish I had audio of the SD80MAC for you, but unfortunately I never got to record one idling.

@@IsaiahsTrains I Love The Sound Of This Train 😀 🚂.
The best sounds to fall asleep too. Love this!
Thanks imma try that lol
Thats exactly what i do ✌🏻
Nothing beats the sound of an ACe in N2!
Locomotives do make the awesome engine sounds love it 😀😀😀😀😀
Why are there low and high idles ?? for what reason it needs to change the idle speed ?
Thanks for making this! I was one of the people wanting a longer version of your original.
I'm glad you like it!!
Here’s that ideal modern sound for your HO servicing facility-unless you model PSR that is.
My favorite locomotive the emd sd70ace
Wow this is epic!
just curious, but why does the engine keep idling up and down?
It's a transition between low & high idle to conserve fuel when idling for long periods of time that higher RPMs aren't needed
Was this on Starkey Hill? Looks like the NS test car. We have tested a number of models there.
This was in Wendell, Massachusetts. It was the NS Geometry train.
Bro this sounds so legend
My favourite locomotive 🚂
23:05 It's kinda rare to hear an ACe throttle down to normal idle.
It skipped notch 1. Went from idle in N2 to low idle since it was in Neutral. If the reverser was in position then it would idle in notch 1 but in Neutral with brakes applied it goes straight to low idle
nice
That might be one of the most satisfying sounds I have heard recently!
Please make longer version with this sound
I gotchu

This beautiful wow I would like one of those but let it be the greeting Sd40-2
I'll see what I can do!
Can you please do the f7
The recording is nice. Hard to find audio with the low pitch recorded right.
Thanks!
Now please do a recording of a Hasler mechanical speed and event recorder.
Love the video and sounds!!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed!
Good work a very good and relaxing diesel sound kipit up u disserve a like as big as the locomotive's engine ❤
Glad you enjoyed!
Was waiting for this! Haha
Took that idea from me
0:29 I hear somebody talking. I wonder what they're saying?
Where is this located at this site
Next one hour of the 7FDL-16
Almost sounds like the emd locomotives here in india especially the wdp and wdg series
My new music at bedtime

I want a notch 8 1 hour straight. :D
Wish I could get you that haha

@@IsaiahsTrains 😂
EMD's sound the way a diesel is meant to sound. GE's sound like garbage cans.
