Playing flex in EUW. you have no idea how many people are scripting above 1000LP. At this point, why do we have VANGUARD in our PC? These people are 1k level main accounts. Not just new emerald accounts. Some scripters actually stopped the game because they were losing. Basically it looks like they can trigger when vanguard notices the script.

No, It hit something by chance. Just the visual and hitbox are desynced. You can see in the last clip Vandril tracking the projectile by it's effect to clear the fog of war and spawning a target dummy in it's path.
Speaking of Briar, another bug that is in Swarm and some people found out thinking is intentional but many doesn't know is that Briar can ult anywhere if she ults over the minimap. The mode is supposed to have global ults locked to only being shoot on your screen. Jinx cannot do that and will shoot in the direction the minimap is on your screen, but Briar can pick a spot to ult on the minimap. Also, this doesn't work if you ult right after leveling up or picking a card. You have to wait like 2 or 3 seconds, otherwise your ult will be directed towards down right corner of your screen
also, if you're playing briar and you double tap your e after ulting, you can get stuck in auto-taunt pathing WHILE NOT USING THE ABILITY, thus you become unable to control your movement until your e comes off cooldown and the next e duration ends, whether by input or automatically. this can also sometimes result in you simply not moving at all.
@@theyellowmeaning7507 and there is another bug in which if you use R while in the middle of E, instead of reseting to the full regular duration of R, your R last for the remaining timer of your E. This means that if you misstime pressing R after your E finishes for the E R E combo, you end up with a less that 1 second R timer.

I've thought about this a while, the only and I mean ONLY thing I can think of is that when briar fires ult theres a listen to see if theres contat, this would work fine. when clicking briar portrait, you can see the initial directional marker focus the closest enemy, this must be the real interaction rather than the graphical and cause discrepancies in the function of the ability. the ability itself is fairly solid, its simple, doesnt require any funny mechanics outside the capabilities of the client which assumes that the issue is to do with the portrait click itself, I would investigate other abilities as this cannot be a one off.
Okay conclusion: it's fixed! Yay! Applaud the indie company! Other conclusion: Casting it on your profile now has another fun effect! If Briar is currently walking, she will turn around and kick the hemolith 180 degrees behind her. If you are walking, then press S to stop her, she will kick it the way she is facing... aaand then the hemolith will fly to where you last told Briar to go. The animation and the path the hemo takes are totally out of sync. And if you are just standing still, she will kick the way she is facing
I understand what happens. So When you ult your portrait briar ult is thrown in the direction your champion is facing but the actual ult is casted behind you in a certain corner. I've been experimenting with it in practice tool and found out that this only works in a certain angle behind you which is to the rear right the direction your champ is facing. you can actually see the fog clear in map which indicate where the ult is going although the visual spell is going in another direction Also you cannot intentionally hit someone. You placed a dummy in the invisible ults path by watching the fog in map. and you only hit the first 3 because its easier to perfectly get the angle when they're this close. So I guess its not that broken since using this to your advantage is nearly impossible unless the enemy is standing in front of you and they're clumped. basically you can use this as a rell ult

Try clicking the ultimate first to show the indicator, then clicking on the portrait. Something very strange will happen. Visually, the spell will be cast in the direction Brier is looking, but in fact, in the direction Brier will be looking after using the skill.
Seems to work as intended to me. It bounced of Gragoose fat belly and hit lb. Little did you know there are stealthy gragases everywhere on the map that move incredibly fast and u can bounce skillshots offa them.
It can also mess up if you re-size your map and ult based on the map. Sometimes it will ult right as if the map doesnt exist. It has griefed me so many times trying to save top lane when on red side.
My guess is that when you cast on your portrait it plugs briars coordinates into the ult cast as the target, this means the code to get the angle is trying to get the angle between two points that are in the same place, and slight differences in how the client and the server do this mean that the VFX go at the angle that the client comes up with and the hit box goes where the server comes up with. Could also be that the code to get the angle is so inconsistent in this situation that the server does two checks and gets a different result each time and dictates this incorrect pair of angles to the client and it just goes with it without doing any checks to make sure it's even vaguely correct.
Actually its quite simple bug, you can reproduce it in almost any game engine. Portrait is probably character pivot point, and skills flies from some other but very close pivot point (could be same point also). And when you try to shoot some projectile from skill shooting point to almost same or same character pivot is just goes random. QA here :)

I think i know why this happens Remember when something like that was possible with mf ult? You had to align your cursor really precisely, but you were able to ult in all directions at the same time. Probably something like that. Maybe briars ult isnt like a single projectile, but works more like a raycast. Which would be stupid, but would make sense
This reminds me of Zac's E, if you cast it perfectly in the center of Zac's character model you're able to jump in any direction I assume that Briar just casts ults in every direction, but only one of 'em is visible, around herself and the first one that hits anything works
i got a minor bug in one of my recente game as JGL, where the jgl item don't desapear when finish. The smite is 1200 and we can sell the jgl item without losing the effect (but i wasn't carfull if we won money back). i can't provide vidéo because of the update i have no longer accesse to the game. But i remember i have done the eralde and died some sec after (I took it oc). or I die then the erald were finish by my team when i was still dead when i juste have a 1 stack jgl item left. That s all i can remember. PS: sry for my poor english and my gramatical mistake but this is not my first language.

i have found out its not auto homing its just spawning an invisible briar ult that gives vision but comes out at the oposite direction so its kinda usless since you have to perfectly aim that one and have luck that it plays probably need to wait for an animation frame no idea.

I had some theories but they are all falling apart because the true direction is different between the live game and the reproduction. I originally thought it was just a difference in the default direction between the client and the server, but that doesn't work. The only thing that makes any sense to me is if the champion selection from clicking on a champ icon is somehow choosing a different entity from the list to serve as the target. I can't think of any reason why it would choose a "random" entity from the list as it's target though instead of just traveling in the direction of the mouse.
Initially thought this would be that incredibly old lee sin bug where if he was mid q2 flight his hitbox was teleported to the middle of the map. That wouldve at least made some amount of sense. But nevermind i guess.
