- The Bombardier Dash 8-Q400, registration 9H-EVA, belonging to the renowned Italian airline SkyAlps, is seen approaching and landing at the Bern Airport in Switzerland. As the aircraft taxis in, we get a close-up view of the engines gracefully shutting down. This turboprop has just completed a flight from the stunning destination of Olbia, bringing back a multitude of sun-kissed holidaymakers. Watch closely as the skilled pilot navigates through a crosswind of approximately 10 knots.
9H-EVA entered service in 2008 and is operated by SkyAlps, a small regional Italian airline. The aircraft has a maximum cruising speed of 667 km/h and a range of 1.295 km, making it ideal for regional and short-haul flights. The aircraft is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW150A turboprop engines and its six-bladed propellers. The Dash 8-Q400 has become one of the world's most successful turboprop aircraft, offering incredible fuel efficiency and low emissions.

Excellent footage of the mighty Q400 arriving at Bern, I love this view point of the approach, landing and close-up taxi. The Q looks good from above. That looks like a prime camping location under the approach for any avgeek!
