I’ve heard this song a million times when it came out. Now it’s been 20 years sine I have heard it , I was singing along and when he says “But all we want , is Unity.” I literally choked up and it hurt so deep it opened a flood gate for the pain I feel for our country , still have watery eyes. May God bless every last one of you , EVERY , LAST , ONE , OF , YOU. I love you all !

Things are now much worse than they were when this song came out. I'll bet Scott never thought this song would be even more relevant 20 years later. Pandemic, division, chaos, riots, racism, radicalism, and death. Hate going both ways. Radicals on both sides of the line agitating and instigating the rest. Distrust in the government. Twenty yrs ago I hoped things would be much better in the near future, but here we are now, and things are just so much worse. Take care and don't give up. Fight until the very end. As the song says, "in the end, we'll meet our fate together". Great tragedy can bring people together or tear them apart. There's still hope.
