    Awesome video! I'm a new subscriber and this really helps for my upcoming trip to Peru and Bolivia next year! I saw this is a very recent video, did you hear any civil unrest still going on in the country? Last time I heard it was blocked in Puno but it's good to know you were able to go through! Have fun and be safe! Happy travels 😊

      Hey welcome to the channel! 🤗 This footage is from mid December 2023 so I was in Peru around that time. I made plans to travel through Peru with Peru Hop however due to the protests I had to stay in Bolivia and cancel my plans. Many tourist had difficulties leaving Cusco and traveling through Arequipa. I ended up flying from La Alto( La Paz) Bolivia back to Lima, Peru in January. Lima didn’t seem to be as affect by the protest like the other cities so I still felt safe there.

      Thanks for the response! Also, did you get a stamp in your passport from Peruvian border when exiting? I heard that they no longer stamp passports upon arrival in Lima airport 😢

      @helena4784 Yeah, my passport was stamped when I entered and exited Peru. That way immigration can keep track of how long I was in their country. I wonder how they are keeping track of tourist now.

    Is the Bolivian Visa multi-entry for 10 years?

    • @sweetchariot
      @sweetchariot  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yes multi entry over a 10 year period. If your trip is over 30 days, you have to apply for an extension for another 30 days. US citizens can not to exceed 90 days per year when visiting Bolivia.

    Hiii, im about to do the same this weekend. How long did it take you to get from Cusco to La Paz?

    • @sweetchariot
      @sweetchariot  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hellooo, I left Cusco around 9 pm and then I made it to La Paz the next night around 10 pm. Since we stopped in Puno and Copacabana it took longer. So from Cusco to Puno 6 hours 33 minutes. Puno to Copacabana, Bolivia 2 hours and 30 minutes. Copacabana to Port de Tiquina 1 hour. Ferry crossing was very quick but the bus took while to get across so about 20-30 minutes for that. And then from Port de Tiquina to La Paz 2 hours. I hope you have a fun and safe trip! Thanks for watching!
