    Hey what's up Dr. Webb! Hope all is great! thank you for taking us on your interview journey! I always love it when you take us on the road with you! You gave so much great information in this video. I'm not a physician or med student but all of the info you shared can be applied to anything related to interviewing and just dealing with people in general! I loved that tie you was rockin at the Sacramento interview. That blue paisley was lit. Anyway, as an engineer, I think it's always important to be on point with your interviewing skills and you have nailed pretty much all aspects of the "Great" Interview. That interview trail seemed grueling though! 😄Anyways, again I always enjoy your content and I'll see you in the next one! Be well, be safe and Peace & Blessings🙏🏽

    Hey Doctor Webb, may i suggest you to make a video of how to become a clinical psychologist (a person with a doctorate degree in psychology is most preferable). Even though clinical psychologists are not medical practitioner but I think that they are part of the health practitioner community. If you can that will be great. Cheers

    Dr. Webb what would be the line of distinction between Neurosurgery and Spinal surgery ? I know you talked about them asking you about the process you would take for the patients they were rounding on. The surgery you described was something I know neurosurgeons would normally complete. Also, how did I miss this video before ?🥴

    Hey Dr. Webb amazing video, great interview tips too. How long did this whole series of interviews take? It seems like you would have to be traveling for several weeks non stop. Is this done after you complete your residency or in your final year of it.

    • @antoniowebbmd
      @antoniowebbmd  6 лет назад

      Interviews span over the course of a few months and for orthopedic residencies, you apply and interview for fellowships during the end of your 4th year. Other residency programs may be different

      You can't take that perspective when considering your future career for potentially 30 years man.
      A couple grand to interview fellowships is nothing when looking at the amount of hard work and time you dedicate to get to that point.

    Dr. Webb, what's the difference between an orthopedic spine surgeon and a spine surgeon who did a neurosurgery residency? Thanks for all of the amazing videos!

    • @albertoreyes2983
      @albertoreyes2983 6 лет назад +1

      Jon Lock one did orthopedic residency and the other did neurosurgery residency. Different specialities

    • @eddiec7740
      @eddiec7740 6 лет назад +5

      I also think Ortho Spine is 5yrs of residency, and 1yr of a spine fellowship. On the other hand, I believe neuro does just a 7yr residency. I was told that ortho focuses more on the bone aspect of it (sorry, that’s broad), and neuro focuses more on the spinal pathway/nerves. I shadowed a neurosurgeon and he told me that 85% of their work is spine related and the other 15% is brain related. Again, this is from my experience from shadowing. I could be wrong, but hope this helps!

      Gregory Donaldson i know you asked this a while ago but you shouldn’t worry about when you’re going to finish school because you’re going to get to your late thirties regardless might as well be a doctor once you hit that age

    dr.webb how much research is required for any fellowships in general, like how many projects or papers..?

    • @antoniowebbmd
      @antoniowebbmd  6 лет назад +1

      There is no certain amount that is required. As long as you have "some" research and obviously the more the better

    • @narendradatla4177
      @narendradatla4177 6 лет назад

      Thanks ,i am a second year caribbean med student i did 2 review articles and i am thinking of doing may be 2 more is that of good enough for getting into INTERNAL MEDICINE RESIDENCY..despite of getting good step scores.?

    • @antoniowebbmd
      @antoniowebbmd  6 лет назад +2

      It will not take the place of a good step score. Step one is MOST important. Research can supplement that
