Chance of a lifetime for someone…your an inspiration brother

Hope you find the right person. Enjoy your channel! ♥️👍

I suppose getting to work specifically with Jake is a chance of a lifetime, he's a cool dude, good teacher and has over a million subs on RUclips which is certainly unique. However, in all honestly its pretty easy to find a reputable tree service that is willing to pay you $20 an hour and train you in all the skills. If you're a hard worker that is physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of climbing then there isn't a tree service in the country that isn't willing to train you and/or pay for your training.
That's for sure
I wish I lived close enough to work for your tree service Jake! What an incredible opportunity and quest for knowledge that would be!
I'm a single guy looking to apprentice. I have a mechanical background, but have been wanting to get into tree work. I have all of my own tree climbing gear, and saws, and consider myself well equipped. I have been learning tree work for the last year and a half, and consider myself a quick learner. I will send you my resume, and a video.
congratulations to your company's growth.
I'll tell you what buddy. I live around Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I've been cutting for 22 years. If I didn't have a family. I would pick up and be there in a heartbeat for you. It would be an honor you will find somebody god bless stay safe
What an opportunity, wish I lived closer.
Jacob, I live in Maine and I have run a tree service for 6 months, been cutting since I was 12. I’d move out there jsut to work as your apprentice!
Send him your resume! Jake is a great guy. He worked on my property with Gordy in June of last year.
Where bro I'm in Maine too. I'm trying to start a tree service. I have no one around.
Shit I got a lead on a big tree job in Bangor but it's too big for just me alone.
@@graystonegardens1642 I'm not terribly far from Bangor
Got some people in maine lmk we can help you get sht done!!
Hope you find guys that are genuine As yourself and easy to work with.
Edinburgh Scotland calling. I’ve been in the industry over 30 years. From groundsman to climber & gaining my diploma etc. Now I’m a certified Arboricultural surveyor/consultant. I love this industry & it’s because of people like you who gave people like me their first break. Keep motivating dude, you’re awesome. 🙌
Live here in the northwest, grew up around chainsaws, and brush clearing. Always like your videos kicked around the idea of doing it for a job. I'm setting up a whatsapp account up now.
If I lived in the US I'd come work for you in a heartbeat man. I'm sure you'll find someone great!
If I was 30 years younger... Good luck finding the right person.
Unfortunately for me, the Atlantic is in the way, and I have a daughter to raise. Nonetheless, it's an awesome opportunity for someone in your area to gain a solid career with you and your team! I did arboriculture at college here in southwest England (Devon). Sadly, at the time of completing the course, I couldn't find anyone who was hiring. I've been running my own small gardening company for 3 years now. Just watching your videos alone for the last month or so has made me want to reinvest in myself to become fully qualified and expand my business into arboriculture as well. Watching you and your team work together has reignited my love and interest for the job. So for that I thank you!
If I lived in your area I would come help you in a heartbeat.
Praise the Lord brother, God is good!
Cool to see where you got Jake. Watching your video and literally saw your subs jump to 1.21m
Glad your businesses are growing!
Been learning a lot from your videos, thank you for your content
God I wish I lived near you. This sounds like an amazing opportunity
Good luck Jake - I guess Randy is "too good" to oil and gas your saws! lol
I hope you get the help you’re looking for. You seem like genuinely a great guy to work for.
Congrats on your success. So inspiring!!
Congrats on the expansion. Cheers
Jake I hope you find two great workers for your growing businesses! Congratulations on your hard work paying off my friend! 👋
Nice to see that the business has done that well ! Well done !
I love these responses... everyone loves your channel!
Congrats on the growth, and good luck finding the right fits.
If I lived on the west side of the state... I would Jump at this 1,000%
I climb almost everyday in the East coast, with all my gear but I’ve had a rough past so no drivers license. I’d love to work with yall!
My opinion doesn’t mean much but I’ve watched you and your channel grow and I’m so happy and proud for you.
I wish I lived closer, I'd jump at this opportunity. Unfortunately I live in north texas...
Randy the Mandy as the crew lead! I doubt I could convince my wife to move from MS. If you weren’t so far away I’d come just to help out a day or two. I used to live in northeast Oregon not too far from august. Good luck finding someone 👍
That would be an amazing opportunity for the right person. Would definitely jump at it myself if I were closer. Congrats on the growing business and I hope you continue to succeed.
It's super cool to see you are getting big enough to need help. Have you followed you since the beginning, and it's inspiring to see how far you have come. Keep it up.
What an opportunity! That’s so cool man. I wish I could learn from you man. It would be an honor.
Hope you find a good apprentice Jake. It’s a great opportunity to get in early with a start up. Lots of sacrifices with not having benefits and 401 but I can see you are going to be super successful in the future. Stay safe and keep at it. You’re a great boss and team leader. The right candidate will love coming to work in the mornings.💪
Climb safe!
omg...the best one will be glad to work with you unfortunately im in france good luck !!! You are real pro
Man it would be great to get back into tree removal again. I worked for " Tops Horse Logging" back in the early 90s. However sadly I'm in Alberta Canada. My experience with chainsaws and tree removal is already going on almost 30 some years. In my tops horse Logging years we used to go along the Alberta parks to protect and preserve the flora and Fauna of the forest floors. No heavy machinery was allowed. So we used 6 percheron horses that pulled a trailer that had a vertically opposed Onan engine which ran a hydraulic pump and operated a crane operated grapple claw system ( home made and home engineered). We would fell trees and limb them and buck them up to 8 footers or even 16 footers and the grapple would load them onto the wagon. The horses would pull the wagon past the trail out of the campgrounds or parks onto a landing on the edge of the Logging roads where Logging trucks would pick up the logs and bring them to the lumber processing yards. We had moveable camps and a collapsible stable for the horses and we'd camp there until the job was done. We would drive to small towns nearby to get groceries and local farmers that new us supplied food and bedding for the horses. It was an amazing experience. If youtube would have existed back then and I was able to make videos and a channel back then, many would have been awe inspired by the beauty of the surroundings and the procedures. The only thing we had powered was our Husqvarna or Stihl chainsaws the Onan powered grappling set up and an Onan powered generator for lighting at night. The view was amazing and at times we were close to the mountain ranges. Old school Logging was amazing.
Wooww I'm Alberta born and raised went to nait forestry after high school. Wish I could have had those opportunities. Beautiful stories of the old days🥰 thank you for sharing! I can actually picture some of it in my head. Jasper Banff the views omg the views must have been Awe inspiring! Thanks for sharing!
Wish I lived closer to you. I’m in South Carolina. What a job to have.
oh i wish i live in the usa. from canada and im currently starting the process of becoming an arborist.
Been cool to watch your journey over the years, I’m down in Oregon starting my own tree service or I’d sign up in a heartbeat. Great opportunity for someone both as a career and to spend time with a guy who’s clearly motivated to continuously grow, hard to find good people these days.
Oh how i wish i cld meet my teacher Guilty of Treason!! All i know i owe it to u guys. Unfortunately I'm very far -far away from u I'm in
(South Africa Durban)
I been doing tree service and firewood almost 37
Years now and I know what you mean by that ok and I own my company to okay ❤
Hell yeah man been watching since forever. Exciting to you moving up man well deserved. Been grinding for a minute now! Lots of luck. I’d be all over it if I didn’t have three little ones, and my old lady would probably leave me.😂
Great news! Growth is always tough.
Good luck. I have a business your size, different trade, but good guys are hard to find, especially the ones we need and want to stick around. Often they get a year of training and think they can do it themselves now, and then I see them a year later and they’re back working for someone else, at a rate of less than they would be if they stuck around.
Oh back in my nomad days I'd be there in a heartbeat, got a family now ! But still climbing!
I would in a heartbeat if I didn’t live in Massachusetts I would love to work with you and learn to climb
Jo, what an opportunity. However I live in Germany and would even come to the US to work for you. Amazing!!
That was my thought too. Working for Jake as a groundie would be awesome. but from Germany it's a bit too far. 😏
I left his state to live in Germany 😅
22 years old I think I can do both been on the tree side for 4 years 😀
Praying the the Lord brings the right people to help you, and that He will protect and bless everyone in his endeavor!
I sure wish i lived closer! I'd jump on that opportunity yesterday!!
Good news and good luck.
Man, I wish I could live in the states I’d bee your right hand man
If I wasn't in Ontario, I'd jump on this.
I live in Morton, so down to work for you. Love your professionalism and always wanted to learn the ropes as I’m a traditional faller. I climb, but need to learn the proper safety and rigging techniques. As far as ground man goes, I’ve done that before working with previous arborists. I could easily get a CDL. I really enjoy watching your RUclips vids, seem like an awesome person to work for.
It's great to see your businesses growing and doing so well.
I am actually curious if you might have need for a temp worker available around September depending on the Boeing contract and if we strike.
“Train from the ground up” I see what you did there 😂😂
Haha, Asistant (TO THE) Regional manager.
Nice.
Best of luck, jake. I hope you find the right people ❤
there'll be a big queue to come and work with you , good luck finding the right person
Amazing opportunity for someone, can’t wait to see how this pans out
I passed on your info to a buddy with sons in your area that'd be perfect! I'll hit you up this summer to drop some trees for my defensible area plan around my house.
Dam brother wish i lived close to you and was a young buck i would be there in a min great for the young buck they will be learning from the best good luck on the hiring
I work in the scrap yard for my daily job the past 10 years, operating every equipment there… on the side lately I’ve been removing trees with a neighbor but now doing it on my own, climbing gear on hand and saw… hit me up. I’ve been inspired in your work, it’d be cool to work with you man
Too bad you don't have an online position that I could do from Florida. I hope your search goes well and you get someone as well suited for the work as you are
Man!!!! If I was local I would be there bright and early tomorrow. Always wanted to learn and get into the trade.
Good Luck Jake.
Hope you good luck on finding the right person
I wish I wasn't in Canada or I'd apply. Good luck Jacob.
Damn man, even as a tree worker, if I’d live in Washington, I’d jump on that immediately. This will look so good on your CV! Maybe seek help from Gordy’s HR department, would be great!
Hope you find good people Jake!
Sorry Jake I'm staying in MALAYSIA but I like your channel very much ...
My name is Branden Smith, I’m 22. I live in Tacoma and I have worked for Arkansas electric for a short time as a chip hand. I need to learn a lot but I am more than confident in driving trucks and back trailers. I am comfortable running a saw however I would obviously need to be shown how to properly get the notch’s setup, trees in Arkansas are a lot different than here.
That beard is on point my man!
Damn really wished I lived closer
It’s a shame I live on the East Coast because I have 10 years experience in the tree service industry and would work for you in a heartbeat
The bright side.....your struggles are with too MUCH work!! Much easier to fix than the other kind of problems!! Good luck!!
Im to far away. Mabey sometime when Im vacationing out that way it would work out to come help for a day.
Man I would love this especially being in Washington but I already have a amazing opportunity doing close to the same even more
damn i dont live in the usa :( would be a dreamjobb to learn from you!
greatings from sweden!
Caleb , I live in Alabama and climb trees for a company called power grid services, I know how to climb, cut and move brush, I just need to get my CDLs
Good luck 😊
I wish I lived closer to Washington. I would love to work for you at guilty of treeson!
Man I really wish I was closer to you I would absolutely love to have an opportunity to doing this kind of thing and long term to.
$20 an hour might be enough for Sappy Supplies as that would be light duties but seems inadequate to me for a tree work off sider . That's less than minimum wage where I live .
Where do you live that min wage is over 20 USD per hour?
@@Deenaziamazinjg14 $23.23 AUD is minimum wage in Australia , it's not great money and I assume $20 USD is not great money there , am i wrong about that ?
I wish I wasn’t across the country in MA 🤦🏻 I’d take a semi large pay cut to work for you
Just sent you an Email buddy. You are doing awesome things! Keep it up!
I have two businesses myself as well as being a partner in a 3rd and if that wasn't enough I'm also an alligator trapping agent for fwc.
Dude that dream job wish I was close to take on the position, like some one don't pass on his awesome opportunity..do it Now
I live in Maine or I'd be All over it. I've been 'waiting' for an opportunity just like this.
Sure youl find people. Good opertunity.
Good luck.
Such a shame that I live in PA, I would have hopped on this chance in an instant!
If I weren't 70 and retired, I would consider. Sounds like if you don't find the right full time guys right away, might consider part timers and grow that over time. There's a lot of seniors and veterans that would love to earn a bit more money due to this awful inflation. Tell me about your relocation package . Glad to see you growing quickly and know as a CEO/COO when you need additional labor. How much of it is seasonal?
If you can fly me out, I’ve got 1.5 years of groundy+ experience. I can sharpen says like buckin Billy. At the mechanic shop getting an oil change on the chip truck as I’m watching this.
If i was cliaer Jacob you'd have a video of me in a heartbeat. Unfortunately being here in Scotland would be a pain of a commute each day. Hope you find someone good and dont get whole load time wasters 🏴👍
I wish I could jake I'm a little to young and my saws are a few decades older than yours sadly I live across the country I really wish I could 😢
Im from gold bar washington i wpuld love to learn more about climbing with you and selling tree gear but im definitely not entry level ive driven chip trucks with chippers bucket trucks and played ground guy since 14 when i started running saws
Tree work is not for the lazy. Whoever applies that hasn't done it before it's one of the most labor intensive jobs I've ever had. Good way to stay in shape though.
Would love to work with you but I'm in East Texas. Little north of Houston
