"The wolf of Wall Street" is a masterpiece. It's so provocative, mixed with comedy. Honestly, I really loved it. One of the best movies I have ever seen
When I saw it, two couples who seemed to be over 60 walked out. I know today's 60 year olds are yesterday's 40-year-olds who liked Goodfellas and so on, but I don't think these people really expected the content. Sensitive people need to research movies first.
amsterdope I wonder why America is even allowed to make movies? I mean Europeans are so much smarter and understanding, Europe is clearly the superior continent. Congrats on being perfect.
excuse me Academy awards, please give Leonardo Dicaprio an oscar, it is long over due. His performance in this picture really seals the deal. It was one of the greatest acting roles and performances by an actor. The realism, the intensity, the greed not only inspired the employees of Belfort's company but invigorated the audience to make changes in their own lives. His enthusiasm and dedication to this role truly deserves him not one but 3 oscars. PLEASE GIVE HIM BEST ACTOR OF 2013, his passion and adoration for film truly comes through in his performance as he convinces the audience incessantly for 3 hours. LD is truly one of the most gifted actors to walk planet earth. THE WOLF OF WALL STREET is a must see for sure. LD outshines everyone. Thank you.
I remember Margot Robbie from NEIGHBOURS I didn't even recognise her at first, it's amazing to see her do so well from a soap opera to a Scorsese film!
Saw the movie online today, I definitely liked it. They said the original cut was about four hours long and then the final cut was about 3 hours. I would've loved to see the 4 hour version. There were so many intense scenes between Jonah and Leo, if neither of them get an Oscar, I will never watch or respect the academy again.
Really? That's really harsh. Leo has INCREDIBLE competition this year (Matthew McConaughey and Chiwetel Ejiofor) and Jonah Hill (even though he was great) doesn't really stand a chance against Michael Fassbender and Jared Leto. Have you even SEEN the performances by the other nominated actors? Why does everyone desperately want Leo to win? He's a huge film star, earns millions for every film, can work with pretty much any director and will ultimately win his Oscar (even if it's just a Lifetime Achievement Award) anyways.
It is so inspiring to see people who are at the top of their game working together on what I know will be a brilliant a brilliant movie! Sooo inspiring!
Scorsese is my favorite director; and in my opinion DiCaprio is the Pacino/Di Nero of my generation; the only thing that he cannot do that they could do is grow a good beard.
I still want to know the identity of the bigshot screenwriter that cornered Scorsese in an elevator and told him he should be "ashamed" for making this movie.
People I can really dig how Gravity was awarded best director at the same time I feel He should nt have won because basically it was all animation and Sandra just acted her butt off.Martin had the connection with all his actors and brought out the best in jonah hill yet.I wanted Leo to win so bad.But i think the oscars felt he had to much fun playing this role.they like depressing shit.but martin was the reason the movie is number one by the fans.
Thank you for posting this Q&A. It really shows the passion the cast and crew had for the material. It also shows that even A-Listers struggle to get financing for their projects.
I love rewatching this video from time to time. I don't know what it is about it, it just oozes with positive energy to me. The cast and crew seems so relaxed and so friendly between one another which is not necessarily unusual, I guess maybe it's Martin Scorsese. He's jovial and grounded which you would not expect from a man of his age and reputation. Also I think it's seeing the crew members here being long time collaborators and seeing how far Margot Robbie and Jonah Hill have come since that film. Now he's starring in a much anticipated tv show called Maniac (directed by Cary Fukunaga), he's also in a Gus Van Sant film and Margot Robbie is likely to get nominated for an oscar for her performance in I,Tonya. Also very much looking forward to The Irishman which has the potential to be the perfect swan song for the duo Pacino-DeNiro.
Although Chiwetel Ejiofor is justifiably the frontrunner for his devastating performance in '12 Years A Slave', my vote would go to Leonardo this go round. Playing Jordan Belfort required an immense amount of sustained energy that Leo delivered masterfully.
what a fabulous interview. It's so thrilling to see these people up close in their own personalities and watch their interactions. They appear to be having a great time! Who was the interviewer?? Does anyone know? He really kept the conversation going which must be hard when these people have been interviewed so many times before. Coming up with original questions would be so difficult.
In 2009 Martin Scorsese was announced as the director of the definitive biographical film on the life and career of Frank Sinatra. A new screenwriter was announced and Scorsese commented that he was considering the casting of DiCaprio as Sinatra. Now the project appears to be dormant. Is this film still viable? Has Sinatra's daughter Tina created so many obstacles to the production that Scorsese has decided that it is too much trouble to make the film? Clearly, the Sinatra family owns the licensing rights to the Sinatra recording catalog, which is an essential component to the film. Will this film ever be made?

Samira Moretti - she was 24 at this point which is already at Leo’s used by date. And now she’s 30, and Leo’s current girlfriend is 22. She was already past Leo’s used by date before she even made it in Hollywood.
Why does Leo always compare this great movie with such a shotty film as Caligula... Caligula was like too shifty of a movie with peter otoole or however you can spell it
si léo n'a pas l'oscar du meilleur acteur cet année , il ne l'aura jamais ! sa performance dans le rôle de jordan belfort est absolument éblouissante , et scorsese celui du meilleur réalisateur bien sur !
I just think that jonah hill, not being taking seriously, like look a this he barely even talked, he just sitted there, he is literally for me, a better actor than margot robbie, he is excelent, but people just dont take him seriously

NOT MASTERPIECE. THE WOLF OF WALL STREET IS EPIC MASTERPIECE 😎
Leonardo DiCaprio is so composed and professional.
margot robbie is gorgeous
hell yeaaaaaaaah
Ye she was sooo hot in wolf of Wall Street
The ONLY people who think this film was too 'on the edge' are Americans. Europe embraced this film with open arms. It is a masterpiece.
It seems more like a sex thing than a race thing, from what I cant tell it is the women who are not liking this film/

We get it, Americans suck. Europe is superior. Get over yourself.
Joe Montainya Self reflection is an art. Congrats, you passed.

Oscar for Leonardo. He deserves this. Best actor ever.
Couldn't agree more. He was so amazing!

I like all Leonardo's movie...
Leo and Jonah! I just love their friendship!
The costume designer is awesome! Flawless!
She's so creative.
"the scene with the prostitute and the candle, that's my actual outfit" lol

And please academy, give Leo the Oscar this time, its long overdue.
I can't get over how DiCaprio can see out of that hat.
Probably trying to hide his long hair
@@catherinesantani7355 which he probably grew for The Revenant

I wholeheartedly agree
Martin Scorsese has the most wonderful laugh in showbusiness! :D
I was thinking the same thing, its really rich and it seems genuine.
seth rogen and martin scorsese
Best movie of the year once again Marty, thanks for taking risks still.
If Leo doesn't win an Oscar I give up on the film world
I suppose you already have
@@AA-sn9lz He won an Oscar though. Not for WOWS but for Revenant
@@princessjuditheieid5563 Not the film he should’ve won for.
Leo was amazing in this film, he deserves to win the oscar. Is about time!!
This man is a source of pride to us for his awareness campaigns and donations
I still want to know the identity of the bigshot screenwriter that cornered Scorsese in an elevator and told him he should be "ashamed" for making this movie.
Context?
it was an old lady at a screening that was a member of the Academy. Not a notable name. She was in like, "Being There" or some other classic.
Jonahs acting was the most impressive to me.
great to hear from the costume designers, editor, casting etc
Leo is brilliant! You can guess intellect by vocabulary!
Leo suddenly woke up like "FUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCKK! I overslept! Mother,#$*($(, I'M LATE! Son of a #$*(#, .... Fuck it I'm wearing a hat"
lmfao
Track a Hack It must be so monotonous to go from country to country, city to city answering the same questions over and over again...
Scorsese's style is timeless
Leo and Marty! You are more than all academics and more than all hollywood!
leo is the best actor ever. His DeNiroa and Pacino put together. Good acting, comedy and fun to watch. It was worth my money. Margot is a pretty lady.
that haircut looks good on Jonah
