I started collecting in 2016 my first baby was Lee Middleton doll it's was red head and neutral gender and I turn my baby into boy and because I got huge crush on prince Harry and Nick Carter I was debating and torn so I name him after prince Harry . Then my house mate Tony say I don't play with them and I should get rid of them so stupid of me I did and I order Asian reborn doll and her name was savannah and then I had Ricardo and then Angela and then so I love your show and by the way only got 8 babies and for now on I'm stopping at 8 lol that was my dream family to have 8 kids .
My children are 18 years apart i suffered 13 miscarriages a reborn is what helped me cope during the hard times...
When my granddaughter was a baby, a lady at church thought she was a reborn. The lady said what a cute baby and touched her tummy and my granddaughter moved. It definitely surprised the lady. It was pretty funny.
I never had to wake up a newborn , THEY ALL WOKE ME UP.
Great video. I purchased a silicone reborn doll in January and I call her my therapy baby. My husband and I were unable to have children so my reborn (Ava Marie) is my baby. I have taken her to the store and people just love her. People like me don’t need therapy, we are coping with fertility issues, miscarriages, and the loss of a child. This is my way of healing.
That older lady that wanted one was adorable and reminded me of my grandma ❤️ I think I'm gonna start collecting these. I used to collect cabbage patch babies and was looking for those. And came across these and have fallen down a rabbit hole. I bought my first baby 5 days ago..and can't wait for him to get here his name is August❤️ Yes I'm a guy don't judge me. 😂 Love Carter ❤️ ❤️

My Angel Son, nicknamed AyJay, his actual name is August James, and then a hyphenated last name, consisting of mine and his father's surnames.

This is just weird. I get collecting them if it's your thing but treating it like it is real and taking them out is just strange. These people crave the attention. You have real kids I don't get it. People these days have lost their damn minds.

We only see what she records it is possible she does pay attention to her kids. And honestly I feel if she wants a tiny baby it’s less selfish if you get a doll instead of an actual baby the has real needs. This is a hobby and also it’s for her channel. It’s obviously for entertainment purposes. Please do not judge without actually seeing the inside of their life.😊
I believe she misses it when her kids were younger, plus she's roleplaying as if it was real because it's fun and stress free. I honestly see nothing wrong with it as long as she doesn't use real baby food/formula/products except for a cheap perfume.
My favorite part was the last two ladies that saw Carter in Walmart. 💙💙💙

I'm about to do this now with my daughter's reborn. She lost the doll's earrings at Disney yesterday so while she is at school, I'm going to purchase another set at Claire's. I love people's reactions. Lol

The kids seem happy. I am not sure if you watched the whole video but there was a part where her kids were helping her pick out an outfit and they looked like they were smiling and excited to pick out something for the baby. 😊 She also specifically said it was a hobby and I don’t think these kids are being neglected. I don’t know their inside life but from what I have seen. I hope this can respectfully help you maybe see this situation differently. God bless you! ❤️🙌🏾
Honestly I think CPS needs to go and take her little girls away. They need to go somewhere where they're not competing for love and attention against DOLL'S. Poor neglected REAL DAUGHTERS keep begging for their mothers attention and she's This too busy with 14 pounds of silicone to care. " MOM, MOM, MOM" She just ignores their little pleas for love. Shame on you. This is absolutely crazy. This woman is a nut job she needs to be committed, and her husband needs to get slapped in the back of the head and stand up for his kids and let her know she's destroying them emotionally for life. The show shouldn't be called "The Reborn Family," It should be called, "Narcissistic Mothers with Strange Addictions." On (SyFy Network)

Awesome children, the miscarriages left me feeling the loss of the babies I never got to touch feel carry and love. I’ve thought about getting a reborn baby for comfort. I can’t believe how realistic those baby dolls are there beautiful too. They’re so precious.

I totally support you doing what makes you happy, but it seemed a little strange when you said how many times he was up last night. You didn't really get up all those times? Surely no? I remember getting up so many times to nurse, that I couldn't have named the times if my life depended on it. Seeing you rattle off those numbers seemed just odd when in real life that is so difficult, and you looked so well rested. Plus the baby is never tired after keeping Mom and Dad up all night. Also the whole thing about him getting his vaccinations, was strange too and how babies are cranky. Seeing someone be so blasé about things that are so difficult, serious and important is just hard for me to watch. I am glad it makes you happy though. I offer this feedback in kindness. I don't think less of you as a human being or mother. You do have two beautiful very real baby girls. I am sure they have and do keep you up all night when they are sick now and then so you know what the real thing involves.
Just plain stupid. Maybe she needs to do charity work with real life babies who could.benefit from it.
Couldn't have said it better myself. We don't say these things to be hurtful or disrespectful. If it makes you happy, that's great. I see your husband is with you, involved and commenting. So I'm guessing he's on board with it. Most men would be like, if you're taking that doll in the store, I'm stayin in the car. I'm glad he's supporting your happiness. There's just no way I could do what you do. For 1 second it makes me ooo and aaa because they look so real and I wish I could've had one when I was a little girl, but then I feel like reality kicks in and it just makes me super uncomfortable. It also makes me sad that your little girls are left out. I think if the doll gets a new outfit or item, so should the girls. I also feel the time and attention you spend on the doll could be time spent with the girls. Like I said I'm not trying to be disrespectful or mean. It just hits be on the nauseous side. Sorry I can't get on board. But hey, enjoy your happiness. I'd like to be as happy as you are with your reborn, but a doll for me, just wouldn't quite do it. I was showing this to my mom(she's SUPER old school)and she said the day I see you do this were taking you to be checked out. One thing I will say. They are great for women with progressing alzeimers in nursing homes. Just don't leave it there. I'm sure it would disappear.

I can't believe the number of husband playing along. Changing diapers, fake feedings and talking to people about it. I'm sorry but going this far creeps me out. Now they have an AI Robot looks about 3-5yrs old facial expressions and talks. Reminds me of Chucky and those eyes like burn a hole through you. That is cyborg city crazy. It's on the edge of scary the craftsmanship is so good. I'm trying to remember the company name but I can't. Search you tube with part of my description above. What a fun outing! And Carter is adorable! The reactions are amazing! How fun! I take my reborns out frequently and want to film the outings but always get a little shy to carry around my phone lol! What do you use to film?
Thanks so much for the kind words & compliments! ♥️ My husband does most of the filming, sometimes we use our phones and sometimes he uses his camera. When we are on outings we tend to prefer the phone simply because people don’t usually feel comfortable with a big camera looking at them 😅

I find it interesting that culturally grown ups "can't role play with baby dolls" yet it's acceptable for them to play video games, fantasy sports, and many other kinds of roll play. Yet role playing with a doll is unacceptable. (I'm not targeting any specific gender as it's not a gender issue.)
Also, just because you may not understand the WHY behind someone doing something doesn't make it sick, wrong or unhealthy.
Many reborn collectors live healthy happy lives, some even more so because they have a reborn. It's a very personal hobby. Some are hurting from a loss or unable to have babies of their own. Some just like the artistry. Whatever the reason, there's a whole lot more out there that is worse than roleplaying with a doll.

Who cares I have 40 baby outfits and I have five reborn dolls. Nobody cares. I have bad anxiety as well so it just helps me cope and I bet you’re gonna be going to other channels. That have like therapy babies for their miscarriages that they’ve had so just stop hating if they’re still look in their heart, so be it, I think you need to take inspiration from her.
Aww my wife the same when she takes our "reborns kids" Logan & Aurora out it happened a few weeks back when my wife took our "reborn" daughter Aurora out with her support a lady came over to ask if was a real baby where my wife replied "No its a reborn" she's was nice after explaining she can't have kids & they help her mental health mostly Anxiety she like really kind and though she was cute so you see once educate people about reborns most are ok about it its just let them learn why people have reborns they're no shame in it its making you happy that what should count my wife loves your videos lol 😆

This suggests several disorders are at play here: Attachment disorder (bonding with a material object), Histrionic Personality disorder (attention seeking) , severe Depression with (denile from past trauma PTSD?) with OCD Collecting Hoarding) and Codependence (Enabling) .
This not a healthy role model for the as girls growing up. Or by the father who goes along with it.
Did you have a boy that didn't survive? This doll is not healthy for acknowledging the grief stages.
Help is always available, but not until the problem is realized.

You should do more research on reborns! You got it all wrong! I take a reborn with me when I am out and about. I have social anxiety and the doll helps me cope. Instead of focusing on ppl or my anxiety I focus on the doll. The dolls are weighted and that provides comfort too ( it is a sensory thing) I am not seeking attention, in fact my have a sign on it saying what it is and what I use it for. Reborns are so therapeutic.

I’ve gotten some pretty funny reactions but yesterday (12/30/21) an employee at a store came up to me and said “please tell me that’s for a school project” I said no and he continued to say “is there a backstory, because I’m concerned” my mom was with me and my mom got pissed it was hilarious but I can’t stop talking about it

Thank you so much! It was a lot of fun!! To be honest, it’s hard to get all the reactions that we get. Many times by the time we start filming the reaction is over or half over (there were way more reactions to Carter on this day that we missed filming) but we’ll definitely try to get better in hopes to get them approaching us so y’all can see the whole reaction people have to our reborns start to finish.
