Hello Scott, I have seen her before on another vloggers channel. She had walked close to 30 miles to Angeles city. Without a penny in her pocket. I donated several thousand pesos to help her and her kids find a place and get some food. Good interview. I am glad she put the money to good use,it was good to see her again.
I used to live in the Philippines and had to take a break, the sorrow of their situation there is heartbreaking. Now I wish I was much richer so I can help get these kids off the street and get jobs working a productive life. In the last three years I have helped three kids get away from that and put one through college so far, If I keep my health I will continue to help them as much as possible.

Hearing what her mother was capable of, brings a tear to my eyes. Such disregard and disrespect for life and her own living children is not only depressing and sad, but gives me a better understanding of the lost child. I hope her kids have a better life than she had.
this girl is actually living her life as she wants. yes hoping for better but not a better road. she isn't seeing it the same as we do. to her its normal. all you can do is encourage her and give ideas to make it better. it will be up to her to see path that works for her.
Agree with you in some ways, but as a twelve year old hooker there's not much "want" nor easy ways out later that "want" applies in the voluntary sense...

Scotty, I have been seeing this story play out so many times since I was 19 years old and stationed at Clark AB. It is a rough life for so many... I remember when I realized that the little kids begging were all sent out by their lazy parents. One time I took one of the kids into Didi's Pizza and bought her a chicken dinner. When she left I watched her cross the street and give the food to her mom. The mom looked in the bag and smacked the kid. I guess she was mad she brought back food and not money. I never gave another kid money or food again after that.
Yeah I've seen that before to one that really sticks in my head me and Filipina wife we're on burgos Street and there was two little girls maybe 4 or 5 years old begging for money in the busy streets at about 2 a.m. I was absolutely disgusted and wanted to yell at their mother but thought better of it
All signs suggest that 2023 will be a year of severe economic pain, I was really hopeful of my investments this year, but all my plans have been disoriented. I've been studying the market crashes and I realized some investors made a fortune from the recent recession and I was wondering if such success rate could be achieved in this present market. I'm open to ideas about investing for retirement.
The first step to successful investing is figuring out your goals and risk tolerance either on your own or with the help of a professional but is very advisable you make use of a professional like I did. If you get the facts about saving, investing and follow through with an intelligent plan, you should be able to gain financial security over the years and enjoy the benefits of managing your money.
The stock market rally run is gone, but I'm not sure if equities will swiftly recover, keep falling. or fluctuate in a narrow range for a few weeks, or if things will quickly get worse. I'm under pressure to increase my $300k reserve.
Just last week, a beautiful young lady stopped and asked me for $1.00 in Harlem, New York. She also had a tragic story. From a broken home, to prostitution at age 15, to rape and abuse to becoming a teenage mom and didn't even know the dad, to loosing the baby shortly after birth, to drug addiction, to now having another baby without a daddy and is struggling to feed him and supporting her habit at the same time. The amazing thing is that she was just 31yo. The thing is, even though America has certain things in place to help it's people, poverty is still very real right here, and i see it every day. I used to just go about my business, but it's because of programs like these that allow me to stop and question this young lady, as i would probably just gave her the $ and keep moving. I believe that i want to hear more of people stories and maybe I should document them also.
Scotty you did a great little documentary with her young man. You are molding your own channel into something different that’s going to grow I think if you do it right. Good luck. This was a really good piece of work though. 👍🏼
Another incredible video by Scotty. Thank you for telling her story, harrowing as it is. The ending sequence was particularly emotional, especially the part where you mention her dream is that her father has work and her kids go to school. Really makes you appreciate what we have. If only the blue-haired western 'oppressed' people could walk a day in these peoples shoes, they'd realise how truly blessed they are.
This video was very moving Scotty. The sad reality for many Filipinas. I have daughters back in Canada much older than her and a younger Filipina wife here. My heart aches to see how hard the lives that these girls like the one in the interview have 😥
Thanks Scotty for being very specific and direct with your questions. This helped understand her story much easier and better. This was a very good story to be told. You were very respectful of her and her family.
This was one of the best interviews with an important story to share that i have ever viewed on this platform. You have a great gift of humanity, i do miss your previous stick figures.
Very sad story. Never been to the Philippines but have seen many videos from vloggers there. From what I have heard regular jobs are hard to come by and with no education forget it you can't even get a job at Jollibee. So at twelve years old on the street with nobody to turn to she had to find a way to eat and survive. Very sad story indeed.
Gosh that was sad Scotty, but probably all too common. Thanks for the enlightenment. One wonders what is going on inside her mind, her heart. She seemed resigned to her situation. I feel so empty.
A great, well thought out story. You have it well narrated, Scotty. It makes a great reason for countries with higher level economies to have budgets for social programs, and good education systems like in Canada and many European countries. Keep up this aspect of subject matter because it's a good balance together with your more amusing content. Top Marks for this one!
Some people even get social help, free education for their kids, free medical care they still go to prostituting as it is easier to get money. I am from the Seychelles and know that there are a lot of free lancers in my country. We called the top ups, like charging the phones credit.
Scotty boy, I know that in the Philippines life is difficult , but in Seychelles even if they have social aid safety nets for less fortunate, free education and healthcare, women still do prostitution. But no women will sell their children here. Prostitutes here mostly do it because of hard drug addiction to get money for their bad habits. This is a problem as the government has to foster a lot of those kids. We have homes to foster these kids so that they can get a good future. I have friends that came out of a foster home today are doctors and engineers.
@@charlesetienne6037 agreed. It makes them hard and money driven too, but they also have social skills, but yes you make a good point, a good social system doesn't prevent it if it's a choice for them.

Compelling Scott. Eye opening stories like these are what it's all about. Making people seen and heard is incredibly cathartic I would hope for the people involved, to beam stories like these to the wider world is a blessing you are giving these folks, thank you for sharing.
You asked where is this God everybody talks about? Well, I can tell you He is right with her as she walks those mean streets. He's with her when she is in the hotel room and tries to comfort her. You see, the God I love and serve doesn't just leave us in the midst of our struggles, but He's right there. Sadly, He allows the choices we make and the ones made before us which put us in our situation will draw us closer to Him. For many of us, it does and it strengthens the relationships. I was one of those who walked the streets for twenty years as a drug addict. I was not always one, but an executive with IBM. Educated and from a good, Christian family, but I made bad choices. But, He never left me, and I watched how He walked with me, as I ate out of garbage cans, and one day began the change because I'd had enough and remembered from where I came from, and "thankfully to Him" He has guided me out. For many who have never developed a relationship with Him to begin with it is very, very difficult, but that's the result of "sin". Yeah, we wanna talk about God but we have to talk about "sin", too. Because it's (sin) is very real. He's real, too, and He hurts as He see's his daughter being sold and knew what life she would have and there would be some who will help, as I now help others. So, when you ask, "Where is God?" He's right here. He knows. And He's doing what you possibly will never see.

I’ll be honest this breaks my heart ❤️. Damn 😢. It’s tragic and understandable people do what they have to do to survive. I just really want to do philanthropic things in the Philippines 🇵🇭 in the future. I don’t think I could handle seeing Angeles City and walking street . Just really sad ! Glad you did this interview.
Scotty….. maybe you can explain this weird phenomena in our times of RUclips vloging viewers who feel the need to send money at times to people like TimK ( and I am not singling him out, he seems a great guy, just an example of many others) when these vloggers have a car, nice home, stay sometimes in 5 star hotels like he did in earlier vlogs in Manila, Ritz, Four Seasons, Hilton etc. Why send them money ( $ 5, 10, 15,20 donations) when all the thousands of needy families in the slums of the big cities in Phil’s need help?? Children in tatty clothes, poor sanitary conditions , food not plentiful etc. Why are these vloggers asking sometimes and gladly collecting money sent to their sites? Don’t. get it. Someone explain the logic to me thanks.
Tim's channel is obviously hurting since his wife moved to college and sister in law got married and he has know one to exploit. The good news though, he latched on to old scotty boy and completely ripped off his format so now he can beg his audience to help fund his travels

Combining that with my mom's brother's stories about Subic Bay while in the US Navy, had a hard time convincing her my wife is just a girl from the Bohol jungle.
Thank you for taking the time to interview her and posting this video. It really breaks my heart and fills me with sadness. She said she doesn't want to get married. Maybe she feels like she is not good enough and that no one would love her but i can guarantee you there are plenty of good guys out there who would be willing to marry her. I remember going TDY to Clark AB during Cope Thunder back when I was a kid… the people were some of the most generous people that I’ve ever met, I remember a little girl who I’d met on my second TDY would wait outside the Main Gate and every time I saw her she’d show me around and tell me where the bad places were for us GI’s…after training there over the course of 2.5 years and 6 TDY’s, I remember my last trip and I believe she was about 15 by then. I gave her a huge jar of money that I’d been saving for nearly 3 years while I was at my main duty station in Misawa Japan, it had about $300 to $400 US and Philippine Pesos in it. I gave her the jar and she literally cried while I stood there hugging her and praying that she’d have a good life and stay away from the bar life… I still think about her to this day…it’s been 35 years since this happened and I still tear up when I think about what fate may have befallen her…

Hey Scotty, thanks for sharing your interview. I already am aware how young filipina women may end up like this. It's been over 20 years since I been to PI. I use to be stationed in Subic Bay decades ago, so I know. I was focusing on mainly video you were showing different buildings, homes, roads and environmental conditions, different transportation vehicles. I noticed the jipneys were not that prevalent? I didn't see vendors walking around selling foods or street food stands. They were practically everywhere in the 80s decade, no matter what province I went to. Every country has a dark side how people live, Philippines is no exception. I hope you gave her a decent tip for her interview, thanks for sharing.
Every human being - whether a criminal, protitute, Pinay, American, poor, rich even a poor canadian teacher deserve the same respect. We all face hardships in life - we survive. if there is people who deserve more respect, than every other human being; it might be the people who make other people feel loved - normally that is a role we assign to the mother ...and this is the reason why; this wonderful girl deserves even more respect and love than most - she tkes care of her kids and her father and mother ... what a wonderful woman !
I am from Philippines I started working at age 15 . I worked as a nany, maid and saleslady at store . I split my salary half for my parents and half for my self. Because I really value my self and strongly believe I deserve in every good aspect of life.
I hope she can get out of the prostitution stuff soon. It’s so heart breaking, but unfortunately this is sad and the situation she is in, my prayers and thoughts to her, that she gets out of it one day and finds something else she can do for work.

0:02 good morning Scott and Hello from Australia. I cannot believe that in this day and age the world can let this happen. The sad part is we can just walk away from it and move on and let them deal with it. I just don’t have words for it all.
I really dont like when we westerners use our privileged eyes to judge people like this young lady. Its a very touching story of real life in the real world. There are many people who dont know real struggle and hardships. We all like to say what we would and would not do. However, you dont know until you are in situations with no help or other choices. amazing!
Wow...just wow. That was/is heartbreaking. It really makes you appreciate your own life. What makes it worse is her daughter will probably end up doing the same thing. There is another video on here somewhere that a British film crew made in Angeles City about ten years ago. Make sure you keep a box of tissues in your lap if you watch it. On the other hand, i really enjoy your videos and you keep getting better as you get more experience. Keep up the great work!
That was a great video and story that needed to be told! It is a very sad reality that many do not understand including me. But sometimes people need to hear the reality to understand with out judgement. It is amazing to me what they censor and don't censor on here!!!!!
This lady is a good person. This lady supports 4 people in her family and herself. She is not on drugs. She was taught at age 12 this way to make money. She knows no other employment. She has family that love and take care for her kids. Maybe we can all can hope "the NEXT GENERATION in her family" does not have to do this in order to EAT EACH DAY. Her family of 5, can eat each day, because of her.
My Kenyan wife started younger than that because her father forced to do it. There was a famine at the time (they were still in Somalia) and U.N. workers liked them very young to avoid HIV. It was the only way her family could eat. She has a very good heart and is a hard worker. Both of her parents are deceased, but she is still always trying to help out her family.
If they have a cashapp/paypal/etc, you could post it in the description for anyone who wants to help out. I could not imagine being born into that situation, it's so sad.
This had me crying.... I'm a 70 year old man. She would be a great companion for any lonely farang. I hope your video helps her achieve her dream. Great human story Scott- TY so very much 😥

Stories like this are always dramatized in local TV show 'Magpakailanman", but when the sender of the story is interviewed, the face is covered by the network.
A good rule of thumb we recommend to all clients, and if he doesn't he should be doing is, at the very beginning of the video get their information, name, age, where you are etc. make them aware you are going to post the video and give them your business card with your channel info on it while on camera and tell them that is where it will be posted, and finally any money that may or may not be exchanged. Either pay them on camera and explain that is all the compensation they will receive or tell them they will not be compensated and have them verbally understand and agree to it on video. Now, he may be doing this and we don't know as we advise out clients not to publish this part of the video but to leave it in the raw uncut copy of the footage with no editing at all for their records.

this girl is actually living her life as she wants. yes hoping for better but not a better road. she isn't seeing it the same as we do. to her its normal. all you can do is encourage her and give ideas to make it better. it will be up to her to see path that works for her.
Agree with you in some ways, but as a twelve year old hooker there's not much "want" nor easy ways out later that "want" applies in the voluntary sense...
@@wreagfe that's how we think. but you heard her talk about it. it was something she went after. she even mentioned how she had to work around the rules at that age. we won't understand why. as you travel you will see others way of thinking is very different than ours
@@williamkirkpatrick6942 what 12 year old that has never had an education at all would voluntarily "go after" sa lifestyle like that. I am sure the reason it didnt hurt with her first customer is because it wasn't her first time. The sad truth is she was prbaly groomed from a young age and passed around to family friends before being turned out.
@@BrandSolutions watch what she said again. she didn't get forced into it, try traveling and seeing what other cultures are like. you and i aren't going to agree with her choice. we didn't grow up that way. i get your disbelief. then again in usa if you weren't married by 16 you were an old maid at one point of time. Child marriage is currently legal in 41states (only Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont have set the minimum age at 18 and eliminated all exceptions), and 20 U.S. states do not require any minimum age for marriage. Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Sudan and Yemen - do not specify a minimum age for marriage. In many countries, even those that allow minors to wed, minimum age requirements are often ignored. might not be our thing but in other places it is their thing.
Exactly, theres a book somewhere that talks about not giving Fish to people but teaching them to Fish for themselves.
Oh that is so sad
Lived in Angeles 8 years Olongao for 3 they all have a story ,but having heard them all, they all end with a need for money never stops
Yeah I've seen that before to one that really sticks in my head me and Filipina wife we're on burgos Street and there was two little girls maybe 4 or 5 years old begging for money in the busy streets at about 2 a.m. I was absolutely disgusted and wanted to yell at their mother but thought better of it
Or she smacked her for talking to and taking money from a white man.
@@courtneyjimerson51you’d be the same if you were in a 3rd world.
The stock market rally run is gone, but I'm not
sure if equities will swiftly recover, keep falling. or fluctuate in a narrow range for a few weeks, or if things will quickly get worse. I'm under pressure to increase my $300k reserve.
I keep on hearing expert Elizabeth Koch's name being mentioned here and other platforms, Does she really worth the credits and reviews?
The market always bounces back. keep investing and you will be fine.
@abdulalhassan2021 this is the most elaborate spam thread I have ever read. I hope Liz id paying you guys well or at least you have an affiliate link
You should document your encounters
Good video, the quality is great. I like the growth of the channel. I especially like how you narrate people life throughout your adventures .😊
Ajamada
Really does put things into perspective. Very sad. Great vid btw.
There’s so much sadness in her eyes….. she deserves someone to “raise” her.
yes, thats what got me about her, the overwhelming sadness in her eyes
This was one of the best interviews with an important story to share that i have ever viewed on this platform. You have a great gift of humanity, i do miss your previous stick figures.
Great interview, it shows that everyone deserves respect!
yes certainly that is very true
Very sad story. Never been to the Philippines but have seen many videos from vloggers there. From what I have heard regular jobs are hard to come by and with no education forget it you can't even get a job at Jollibee. So at twelve years old on the street with nobody to turn to she had to find a way to eat and survive. Very sad story indeed.
My wife told me that you need a college degree for McDonalds.
All those social services and the western world is still going down the drain.

Beautifully said Brother Roy

Scotty….. maybe you can explain this weird phenomena in our times of RUclips vloging viewers who feel the need to send money at times to people like TimK ( and I am not singling him out, he seems a great guy, just an example of many others) when these vloggers have a car, nice home, stay sometimes in 5 star hotels like he did in earlier vlogs in Manila, Ritz, Four Seasons, Hilton etc.
The good news though, he latched on to old scotty boy and completely ripped off his format so now he can beg his audience to help fund his travels
their government needs to do something, we are not a savior to everyone, you know what have i done? donate lechon and rice to the orphanage in Mactan Island, Cebu, I will do the same, this year, when I come back to the philippines next month, I will donate food to feed the children.

I gave her the jar and she literally cried while I stood there hugging her and praying that she’d have a good life and stay away from the bar life… I still think about her to this day…it’s been 35 years since this happened and I still tear up when I think about what fate may have befallen her…
For someone unschooled, i think she's good at communicating. Smart even, maybe.
@karinarose719 thank you, and yes God has blessed me 🙏🏽 I try to give to those less fortunate than myself whenever possible… my life has been wrought with ups and downs, homelessness with my sons after my divorce, death, and all sorts of things but, I along with my sons made it through Hell and I thank God for this… Now my life is ten fold better and I try to continue to give back…🙏🏽

Those things are still prevelant, maybe much fewer than the 80's though

if there is people who deserve more respect, than every other human being; it might be the people who make other people feel loved - normally that is a role we assign to the mother
...and this is the reason why; this wonderful girl deserves even more respect and love than most - she tkes care of her kids and her father and mother ... what a wonderful woman !

Very tough to watch but you did a fantastic interview. I wish her the best.
Finally somebody that can put a story behind this video 👍
