Lara is a true gem, master in conveying emotions when delivering her songs. Her performances are stunning with an awesome presence and superb, untouchable vocal skills. If you first of all follow the covers that Dimash has done of some of her songs, you will know more about he has become the vocalist he is today. She remains his biggest idol and they are friends, even sharing one of their main composers, Igor Krutoy.

The music of Broken Vow was co-composed by Walter Afanassiev and Lara Fabian.
Walter Afanassiev, an american/brazilian from russian descent, is a legendary composer and producer (he composed some of the greatest initial hits of Mariah Carey such as All I Want for Christmas is You or Hero and was the producer of the Titanic soundtrack that brought Celine Dion to WW fame). He is also now the producer of Dimash for his US career.
When this song was composed, Walter and Lara were engaged, but apparently he cheated and she decided to break up. When she took this decision, that she knew would dramatically change both her personal and professional destiny, she wrote these incredible lyrics.
Lara has said this is her preferred english song from all the songs she wrote in this language (there are many, and some are pure jewels).
One reason is also because this song has then been covered by the greatests:
- Barbra Streisand (she performed it in concerts from one of her tour but never recorded it),
- Josh Groban (his cover made this song famous in US, she is her friend and role model and he made several duets with her),

Lara was a coach on "the voice" I forget what country
In France and in Québec...outstanding voice coach
And she was a voice coach also for another program: Star Academy, in both countries.
She will also be a coach in an upcoming program in France with kids, being released end of this year.
She is indeed outstqnding both from a vocal skills or emotional and storytelling coaching point of view.
