You havent heard of her before ?? The reason is all to do with the goings on between Celine Dion in conjunction with Sony music Industries conspiring , for fear of Lara destroying their hold on music sales in the United States !! Thats why she came back to Europe being of a Belgian father and Sicilian Mother and is now a Naturalised Canadian flourishing Worldwide !! Lara is an extremely accomplished musician ! being in that she is a Composer ! Song Writer ! a Pianist that plays Piano! Violin! Guitar! ! she is fluent in Italian! English! French! Spanish! and has sung in 14 Languages ! and written books on Cookery !she also has a daughter from a former relationship ! she has also beaten cancer ! she is a Lyrical Soprano! with an extremely powerful yet so so smooth beautiful voice as well as being Stunningly Beautiful ! also a humble human being She Has the Best Female Voice on the Planet right now ! May she go from strength to strength ! God bless Lara !
Ciao, bellissime informazioni su LARA........meglio di così non si poteva riassumere. Brava se sei una donna oppure bravo se sei un uomo. Ciao tanti saluti.
I agree. I found her in 2000 & told my friends I found the Barbra of this generation. Her songs have been on my playlist since then but I was so disappointed with her not getting the recognition here in the US. I’m happy when I found reactions to her & her music on RUclips. I can’t help but feel amused looking at different people reacting to her.
@@alphaquadrii I am lucky enough to live in Quebec, Canada where she started her career. I have been following her since her very begining in 1994 and she's been such a wonderful inspiration and special singer. I have been priviledge to see her many times in concert and even now, when she comes to Montreal, I make sure to be there........she is still so worth seeing and listening to ❤
@@elisegosselin9078 Yes, lucky you. I’d love to watch her in person.
@@alphaquadriime too, but thanks to Celine, we can’t see her in the USA, what a pity…
Someone says once that Lara is an artist who has mastered both the physical and emotional aspects of performing.
She sure has! She pull you in from the first word/note! That is how captivating Lara truly is! Her voice is like velvet; very comforting and warm! It is her tone overall!
Not to everyone
Guys she's still very active and is doing a world tour as we speak. I have tickets to see her in Ottawa on June 14th. She performed a concert in Prague on April 17th. She recently released a new single Ta Peine ( not sure if spelling is correct. )She still has that great voice at the age of 54 and still practices with her voice coach almost every day.
So jealous @Watch….have a magnificent time. That will be amazing for you. God bless love from USA 🇺🇸 ❤
I also am seeing Lara in Ottawa Canada on June 15 th!
@@sharonlabrecque1655 So am I! So excited. Where are you coming from? I am coming from North Carolina.
Thank you for mentioning her concert in Ottawa - I just went and bought myself a ticket! Well worth the 8 hour drive to Ottawa from Southern Ontario! I grew up in Ottawa, so will visit fam while there… I have always wanted to see her live, so dang excited now! Lol 😊❤😊❤
I am coming from Florida 🌞
Lara Fabian, her mother is Italian 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹 and her father is Flemish; infact her first language is italian and she lived the first part of her childhood in Sicily. then she is a naturalized Canadian. She is so good e so passionate, I love her.❤ Saluti dall'Italia 🇮🇹❤🇮🇹❤❤🇮🇹❤
And she lives in Catane, Sicilia, as we speak. With her sicilian husband....
She leaves as if angry or as if the conversation was over and then she comes back as if to say "I still have something to tell you!"
This song broke me when I heard Lara sing it. I was living this song at the time and I wondered if she had cameras in my house. She made me feel less alone.
Can't wait 😍
Next is Lara's song entitled "Adagio"
Dnt forget tango
Yes, please. Love ❤ Adagio 🥰
Yes, absolutely .... but the "Adagio" version from the Lara With Love concert, not the studio version.
And now I'm crying again😢🤦♀️She always makes me cry. And now "Caruso" and "Adagio" are missing. Love her
She uses her audible breaths very consciously for musical effect to serve her storytelling. When she doesn't want them heard, they aren't. It's fascinating how this makes the listener feel this is all so spontaneously, irresistibly emotional. She's very smart & very skilled/controlled.
1) Musically, she takes credit for the bridge here.
2) This is indeed the same concert, From Lara With Love.
hello, Lara Fabian sings in more than 12 different languages and is fluent in French, Italian, English and Spanish, her musical repertoire is very varied and covers Barbara Streisand, Whitney Houston, Maria Caray, an exceptional and authentic artist and also a source of inspiration for many young singers like dimash she takes you on these journeys of the heart, of the soul, of the spirit, through the sound of her voice for the time of a song thank you Lara
Yes, you can see an inspiration that Lara has on how Dimash performs; he gives that passion and soul into how he sings.
😂 FUNNY STORY LARA tells in an interview about rehearsal with Dimash and Aida for Ti Amo Cosi.. standing around the piano Aida cocking her head at Dimash, casually looked over and said, if I have to run out for something he can sing my part and burst out laughing ! They came apart and couldn't get it together. Deep breaths, OK we're ready, one would look at the other and break up. Finally, Aida, biting her lip, blinking like a madwoman, looking everywhere but at Dimash, choked, snorted her note through her nose and they were hysterical ! Igor pounding on the piano lid laughing, gasped Break ! Lunch ! Fabulous. Still laughing, they put on their coats, walked outside she looked at her watch and it was 9:30 in the morning. The audience convulsed in laughter, her story endearing as she mimicked everyone, Aida blinking wildly, Dimash pulling back looking wide eyed down at her trying not to laugh, she tells a wonderful story.
Can I have the link of this story please??❤
Lara sings her private life to all, this song is so raw, no restrain about her feelings, amazing singer, amazing woman, no wonder Barbra Streisand used that song in her live show in 2002 or 2003.
the tagline on her social network accounts defines the exceptional benevolent and empathetic woman she is:
Choosing music allows for better self-knowledge, this awareness allows you to embody the whole that judges nothing.
@@ericsicard910 I know I can use google translate, but I didn't.... do I understand correctly that: 1/ they wrote the melody together, 2/ she founds out about his cheating an they separate, 3/ she writes the lyrics and 4/ they arrange the orchestral part together ? .... That shows another layer to her professionalism!
@@framegote5152 yes, that’s the sequence of events I reconstructed from different interviews by Lara and after seeing Walter conducting the orchestra for the recording with Lara singing the lyrics.
@@ericsicard910 ils l’enregistrent ensemble: il dirige l’orchestre => quel détonnant mélange d'émotion a dû être ce moment là! Si une vidéo existe...
Heard Broken Vow in early 2000s by Josh Groban - didn't know Lara wrote the lyrics. Fast forward to early 2023 and enlightenment - heard this performance by Lara...wow! Took a deep dive down the rabbit hole and still falling...
Even in March 2024, she did a radio show in which she sang her newest hit “La Piene” (Your Sorrow) she sang it at a slower pace than her recording and you can just feel she’s “in the moment”….a gift for sure. Her live performances are always colored by where she is at that moment. Unbelievably beautiful, she always takes you on her life’s journey.
One of these singer that have a show with a single piano and, next day, with a full philharmonic orchestra.
Looking forward to seeing your next reaction to our dear Lara. I was expecting to listen to Caruso but any of his songs are fine for me...The photo you chose is beautiful because it shows Lara's expressive eyes.
They told me Caruso is next.
@@ericsicard910 👍🙏

Her live concert "En tout intimite" is а masterpeace ⚡ I've never heard anything more amazing in my entire life.
I totally agree with you and i honestly think it's better than From Lara with Love,. that everyone is always talking about
@@danielakeller7532 same for me =) "From Lara with love" is gorgeus. In this concert, she revealed herself as a great professional! Vocal technique, emotions... Wow! But "En tout intimite" is a different level of her personality and depth. She is not from here)
@@user-jr7mc3mg5z Yes exactly
I agree. That concert is the summum of artistic musical performance.
Aren't we all glad we got to know Lara ?
Sad very sad we never got to know her much earlier.
An amazing talent who moves my soul with every song.
Hello from Australia.
I've got tickets to hear her sing in Montreal in June 2024. I'm already tearing up.
I’ve heard many covers of this song but Lara Fabian is the only one who sends chills through me and a tear every time
Ah yes, the anthem for the broken hearted. As if the pain isn't bad enough, we just have to torture ourselves with wanting to know about 'the other person' 😅
Been there, and I can safely say, we all need Lara's Broken Vow to get through that dark times 🙂
The line "Now that I've found, a way to keep some how. More than a broken vow" is the hint of a smile. I can remember the good times even thou I keep asking why.
Love Lara Fabian, she is my favorite female singer❤
She has that amazing capacity of living what she is singing, and u just get infatuated from her resonance and beauty.. Can't help! Queen of beauty and technique ❤
The tension and closed teeth in the earlier part of the song is everything. She embodies that moment when you are trying to be composed and get some closure and pretend your calm and OK . Her voice and willingness to put her heart and soul out for us all to see ... her (imperfections) are what makes her the Goddess she is.
this is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. i just heard it live this week and it was one of the most emotional moments of the whole concert(in fact of any concert ever) and she still sings it as beautifully as 25 years ago. she’s just next level compared to any other artists❤️
It's not just one of the most beautiful songs ever written it's also one of the greatest vocals you will ever hear, one of the most underrated ARTISTS ever, just think of all the utter shite that we are subject to these days, it's absolutely CRIMINAL 🇬🇧👌🔥❤️
yes! she’s the absolute best and people if you have a chance to go see her live DO IT! it will be one of the best experiences of your life because she’s just phenomenal in every way possible❤️🔥
I find it quite amusing watching people react to Lara for the first time😅 as she said in this concert "when you speak from the heart" pure magic!❤ Of course you still have "Adagio" and please "Caruso" too.. an other amazing song/story telling experience, to a classic song, but she has a great talent to make every single one hers!
It’s the fact she is so beautiful, the smile is difficult to hide. I believe you said something similar: Lara in this song is working through her Emotion’s by this exercise of anger & pain to a place of healing, a place that allows her to forgive, and move forward in her life.
You mentioned you never heard Lara on the radio; she did "I Will Love Again" which charted around the world - back in 2000.
Charted at:
US Dance Singles Sales (Billboard) at 2
US Adult Contemporary (Billboard) at 10
US Dance Club Songs (Billboard) at 1
US Billboard Hot 100 at 32
US Mainstream Top 40 (Billboard) at 24
Canada (Nielsen SoundScan) at 4
Canada Top Singles at 19
Canada Adult Contemporary at 4
Perhaps they heard it, but don‘t know that was Lara. I am curiuos and waiting they react on it. 😊
I've always loved Lara's embodiment of the music/lyrics. It brings me to how Dimash declares over and over that his range doesn't matter and that his sole passion is the people feel the emotions of the songs he sings, and take them away from reality for a bit. If Lara is one of his inspirations, it's easy to see the correlation in this passion.
From one angel to another. I was one of the many English Canadians who had been to Céline Dion concerts but had never heard of Lara specifically until I discovered Dimash. (I had heard this song as Barbara Streisand sang it). It is truly understandable why and how Dimash respects her so much. Beautiful! (In truth, it is a welcome approach to the breakup songs we have grown used to.). Cheers from Canada!
Fabian, The very beautiful, very strong but always velvety voice in all her 4.2 octaves range .
Effortless singing, endless breath control, very clear pronunciation of the lyrics, in every language, emotional an expressive performances .
A joy to listen to , captivating performances ...
and so on
Loving watching you both discover Lara. It's one of the great experiences in life, there's no one else like her. This is the same concert, From Lara With Love, they just have different setups for different songs. The whole thing is a master class so you'll be reacting to this concert for awhile! She is a musician and composer and writes the melodies as well, or at minimum co-writes. The thing with Lara that I appreciate so much, as a songwriter myself, is the way her melodies are complex and intricate without ever being showy. The same with her singing choices. She does nothing just because she can or to show off, nothing for ego's sake. Everything is in service to the story. And what she said in the beginning about not being able to explain how you write a song, that something passes through you... remember that when you react to Adagio. It's what the song is about. On the surface it sounds like a love song, but if you know how important being a songwriter is to her, and what she said in that clip, you will hear a love song to the god of inspiration, begging him to never abandon her, that she'll always be waiting for the connection that lives beneath her skin, at the "piano that plays". It takes on an extraordinary depth when you know this. Looking forward to Wednesday! Eric is single handedly introducing Lara to the world!
I am delighted to have a new reaction to Lara Fabian, she is an exceptional artist of great sensitivity.
She writes most of her songs.
ADAGIO (Albinoni music)
Mademoiselle Hyde in collaboration with Igor Krutov
You’re not from here (magnificent)
Broken now
And his interpretation of Lucio Dalla's Caruso is superb
Erik is the best to talk about Lara❤. He is a real , real fan. He knows & promotes Lara so much❤.
Listen to Johnny and Lara requiem pour un fou
This is definitely my most fav song of hers. It's just so raw yet refined at the same time and her vocals on it are un-matched. ♥
By serving as a measuring stick on the standard of excellence. her name becomes timeless.
I am so glad you discovered Lara because she is an amazing singer....she, Dimash and Josh Groban are my favorite of all time and they all are one of a kind!!!
She is unique!!!...Her tone is out of this world!!...Could you imagine singing a duet with Lara?...Man!!...See you with Eric in your next one!!😊
Hello, I am sorry for asking the same song all the time, it is REQUIEM POUR UN FOU with Johnny Hallyday. It's really passionate and specially Lara's performance is outstanding. Ask Eric about it and I know for sure he'll agree with me. Knowing about Richard's liking or specializing in theatrical performances, you guys can't miss it.
I love your reactions ❤

This is from her PBS televised concert from Montreal "From Lara with Love" the same concert where she did "Je Suis Malady" - your 1st reaction to Lara. Lara ended the concert with "Broken Vow".

Adagio (Italian)
Quedate (Spanish)

-Adagio
-Je Suis Malady
-Je Tiame (which is her signature and one of the 1st songs she wrote)
-Pas Sans Toi (at one of her earlier concerts she mentioned that this is her favorite and another one she wrote early on)
-Mademoiselle Hyde
-Ta Peine (latest release 1/26/2024)
-Evergreen or a medley of Yentl (Streisand covers)
-Love by Grace (became a hit in Brazil and still is)
-Broken Vow (my favorite but she don't sing this to often)
I Will Love Again (got worldwide recognition)

un Caruso après?
Well, like @roimerlopez1275 said: to see (and hear) you finally. I'm very curious. 😃
🇨🇦 Lara (not Laura) is singing this song to you from that same concert !
This lady is so talented, she can sing, write, produce, arrange and act as well !
You should now expand your experience, and perhaps react to her duet with Johnny Hallyday, called "Requiem pour un fou" 🇨🇦
She’s my favourite singer. She’s the best.
I'm pretty sure she is the best singer in the entire universe. She is extraordinary. ❤
What a pleasure it was to see your emotion and dazzlement in front of this magnificent interpretation. Yes, Lara is captivating and still is today. I saw her in concert a year ago, I was in the middle of the room and it was crazy the aura that emanated from her on stage. It radiated everywhere because she gives off so much energy... Can't wait to be with you again on Wednesday. I hope that you won't make too many songs from her, that we can continue this journey for a while longer with you and Lara...
I LOVE the way Richard emotionally understands the song!❤❤
would love to hear you commenting on " ADAGIO" one of her powerful song! As french woman I've seen Lara performing in France and she is the most emotional singer that I ever seen in France and all over the world. " Adagio" is one of the most difficult song to sing!
with all her skills - her storytelling, the showing and sharing of pure emotions, warm tones, her powerful delivery. perfect diction, unmatched resonance, phrasing, near perfect tonality and pitch - the fact that she is an absolutely wonderful composer and we forget that aspect of her artistry.
I just love your faces when you listen to Lara Fabian singing. You look liked you’ve just discovered fire 😂
I found this an interesting comment. I saw Lara in an interview where she was asked why she chose to write this in English versus her native tongue. She answered that she wrote it in English because she was “loving in English” at the time. I’m so glad you discovered her and react to her. Your reactions are like my own, so that helps, too.
The smile speaks if the peace found in forgiveness.
I am pretty sure that this is from the same From Lara With Love concert as the other songs and if I remember correctly this was the finale.
Yes, it's the same concert.
One of the most beautifully written songs ever. She’s incredible. That performance was just perfection.
Your reactions to Lara are the best 🙂
Oh yes! - Guys, you've made my day already, just teasing this! - Can't wait to watch this one! 🙏
Yeah! I love this song! Lara is perfect!🤩 ❤
Lara Fabian Tour 2024. She is still an amazing performer. Lara should always be seen live.
Yes! If you feel her tones through a screen, can you imagine how much more of an impact she would have on a whole concert venue?! Your whole body would be buzzing while she sings!!!
Looking forward to you having Eric on your show! Ive always considered him to be our(fans of Lara) ambassador for Lara. I've just recently discovered Lara myself about 4 years now. The first several years i just couldn't get enough. I would scour everywhere on RUclips Looking for videos of Lara. It didn't matter how obscure the video was, in the comments...Eric would be there...spreading the gospel of Lara! He is appreciated for that...There is a ton of content out there so enjoy the Lara Fabian Rabbit Hole you're falling into....
I can not wait for your to do Caruso...with the intro (where she speaks again like this one) and the with the subtitles...Love your reactions!

First Looking forward to Wednesday, that song and video is from the same concert of Lara with Love, it’s the closing song from that concert.
The is also a duet live and video of her and Josh Groban. Call Always…it’s fantastic
I love this song. She pours heart and soul into her songs and performances. It’s no wonder that Lara was a favorite singer of Dimash’s as a young teen - and is to this day. ❤🎉❤🎉❤ Love you guys! I will be in Budapest for her concert and Dimash’s. 😀

Thank you for reacting to this video. Broken wow is definitely one of the most amazing songs. I have been a fan of Lara since 1999. Lara is like an ocean. When you start listening to him, every emotion penetrates your soul. He is the best of his peers and that's why they prevented him from being successful in the USA. America lost a lot because of Sony Music and Celine Dion team. The evil done to Lara is incredibly terrible.
And finally, I have a ticket to the Turkey-Istanbul concert on April 25, I am very happy and excited.
😂 we didn’t loose anything at all
I can't possibly understand how or why any moron would cheat on her. She is the epitome of femininity, of beauty, of talent, of tenderness... I can go on and on, it would be boring. She is ferocious and she is tender. She is submissive and comandeering. She is perfection.
It bothers me to know somebody hurt her.
early 2k, Broken Vow is very popular here in the Philippines. .
Love it. I saw her live. By the way, she also has some new great performances and songs. She is still brilliant. She was a coach on the show The Voice in Canada or France. Amazing!!!
Great analysis of this song. Thanks guys..🙏..I"ll be back on Wednesday.👍💖
I do believe what Lara said before she sang. Sometimes, we can’t explain why inspiration comes to you. No one can sing this song better than her. I'm moved. From betrayal, one can learn to "Forgive". It is so great!!!
You guys are just terrific! So happy to see you discuss the Magnificent Lara Fabian.
Oh cool, I'm looking forward to getting to know Eric! Nice reaction, thanks a lot! Peace and love from Bavaria!
🇨🇦 LOL Your lack of descriptive words on the end of your tongue, together with your astonished pauses, is speaking volumes ! Master Class 101 ! And you haven't even got to "Caruso" or "Adagio" yet ! 🇨🇦
Wow! I didn't know that this beautiful song I've always adored was composed by Lara Fabian! I first fell in love with this song through the stunning rendition by Sarah Geronimo and Mark Bautista. It would be amazing if you could include this song when you feature Sarah Geronimo on Filipino Fridays!🤩

I am embarrassed to say that is my final take away.
Lara... truly the greatest female vocalist of our time. Many greats but Lara has a tonal quality, undergirded by flawless technique and and mystified by her personal, emotional presence that I doubt anyone truly rivals. When you hold a piece of gold in your hand you just know it is something unique and special. Lara and Dimash are like that. You can't explain it. You have to experience for yourself.❤️🔥❤️🔥
Thank you so much for giving us many golden experiences!!
She’s the ultimate Queen 👸🏼
Troppo simpatici e Lara Unica e insuperabile😊😊😊
Probably her most mesmerizing performance. Her presence and delivery are truly magic, thank you for your continuing discovery of this wonderful woman that for so many years was overlooked sadly here in America . Looking forward to your interview with Eric! On a curios side note how did you guys miss at 19:36 the opposite of what you noticed in Je Suis Malade where the mike was so far from her mouth?😁👍
Lara is like a mermaid she drwas the listeners into her songs what a master of performing at such a high technical talent. my favorite performer. she is exeptionnal.
I was waiting for this, I wrote a comment on the first video recomended this and now it's here... This performance and this song...

I heard the Josh Groban cover and fell in love with the song. Didn’t know Lara wrote it and sang it so this was a real treat. Love your analysis and insights.
Great reaction guy's. She no doubt the best.
Lara is absolutely MAGICAL when she sings and her ability to be profoundly influential with the listener. She makes me cry 😢 each time I listen to her. I love each diverse song…because she can impact me significantly with each lyric. She’s THE MENTOR to several different professional artists. I remember an interview where she retells the story of telling her parents that she was a SINGER at 5 years old. Her father was shook. I love her music 🎼. Thank you ☺️ for reviewing her songs. 🙆🏻♀️🎼💫🎶🙌🏽
She is music period❤. And this is just 20 % on what she can do with her voice & expressions ❤love from Romania❤
Such a captivating performance so beautifully sung and performed. 👏👌
Lara canta por inteiro. Seu corpo, seu olhar, seus gestos, sua respiração conta a historia da música e toca profundamente quem ouve as suas canções.
