Just wanna say im loving the trumpet intros please keep playing music on the intros it’s so lovely you sharing other loves with us this is very refreshing 👍👍🔥
Hello J C, how are you? I'm digging the intro you play very well. Great job on the video and list. Meander really got my mind on that one. Stay safe brother.
Transportive fragrances...love the topic and that you touched on the different ways we may interpret ‘transportive’. I adore fall and winter for many reasons but for me it is the most peaceful time of year...on many levels. Thank you for sharing Justin.
Thanks for the thoughtful video Justin! Perhaps the fragrance name is suggestive, but Jean-Claude Ellena’s L’Eau d’Hiver for Frederic Malle transports me to the woods of Wisconsin or Michigan: it’s the first warm day in March and the snow is starting to melt. Heavenly!
Memo Paris lovely scent, and Sintra a beautiful village. Congratulations to the channel and keep the good work my friend. From Sintra, Portugal, peace.
Great video. Interesting how perfume can make you think of a place or project a vibe. Initio Rehab transports me to a yacht in the Mediterranean. Not sure if it's the notes or the vibe. But chilling on a yacht is how I feel when I wear it. Roja Parfums Enigma makes me think of being in a private members club.
The most transportive fragrance in my collection has got to be Nautica Voyage. Its a cheapie but it takes me straight to the Ocean every time I spray it. Coco Moon does too
Great video. The most transportive fragrance in my collection has to be Kenzo Pour Homme, which has this unusual rubber, chlorine like quality which conjures to mind a swimming pool at night. Quite possibly one of the most unique aquatics ever released and very much transportive. Love your description of Vanilla Vibes by the way - very immersive :-)
Hey Justin, I enjoyed this video, as it transported me just having to think about this question. So the first fragrance that came to my mind was ChanelCoco eau de parfum, And it makes me think of Christmas time in Chicago! I spent a Christmas in Chicago in the 90s and I Received a giant bottle of this fragrance .The old formula dynamic 🙏☃️🎄🥶💙.
@@stayfreshproductions I love that you are Stevie Wonder fan! I have like this box set of Stevie Wonder🙏💖🌅 like the anthology or something I love Stevie Wonder’s music ;he is a “musical genius” 😁 as they call him. I also love me some of the late great 🙏Donny Hathaway🙏 yes. Before Covid 😷 I love to go to jazz festivals because I get to hear talent like yourself keep up the great content.
Loved the video. Transportive fragrances are exactly what I’m looking for. Have you found a fragrance that transports you to a seaside temperate forest full of moss, stone, ferns, conifers and damp earth? (Rather specific, I know.) Or else something with an intentionally synthetic vibe reminiscent of a high-tech, futuristic megalopolis like the city in Blade Runner? (Metal, glass, stone, food stalls, rain, engines.)
Sicily is okay but I held off on buying a full bottle because I like that fruity opening more than the floral dry down.....I love Manceras but this one was just okay to me. Pearfecto on the other hand I absolutely love! I got put on to it when MrCologne76 sent me a sample of it and I bought a bottle right away. Easily one of my best fragrance purchases ever.
I do like a food aquatic type scent sometimes in the winter. Give me something to hope for lol. I just pulled the trigger on precious liquids blue agave. Hoping that will do the trick
JC, man I love fig scents and one of my all time faves is Marc Jacobs by Marc Jacobs which was the first that he ever put out and it's basically fig in a bottle as well and it was a EDT also but have been wanting to try a new one so have you ever smelled the MJ fragrance that I'm referring to and if so would you say that Philosykos smells similar or even better? Best summertime fragrances I agree are fig scents so this would really help me out?! Thx again brother!
@@stayfreshproductions Hey JC, what about Figment man from Amouage? Have you happened to try that one yet? I'm assuming based off of the name that it's a fig scent so again just trying to find another great fig fragrance obviously. LMK my man and as always I appreciate your input!?! 👊
@@THEchad0071 yo! Figment man actually has nothing to do with Fig, and it’s a pretty challenging scent...very soily and animalic. Carner Barcelona has a nice one called Fig Man, but two of my favorites are Philosykos from Diptyque (I talked about it in my recent transportive fragrances vid), as well as Acqua di Parma Fico di Amalfi
@@stayfreshproductions Oh wow, I'm glad I didn't order it then! Lol. I just made my 4th order with them in a month. I'm getting a decant of that fig scent you talked about Philosykos so I'm anxious to try that one out for sure. Well good looking out JC, I would've been upset with that one if it didn't have no kind of Fig scent to it. I appreciate that my man! I did however get Interlude Man cuz I heard a lot of great things about it. It was between that and Reflection Man so I went with the newer one so we shall see?!? By the way another good 15% discount code is WELCOME but not sure if you're supposed to pass that on or not or if you're even allowed to, just thought I'd let you know personally. Anyways thanks again on that brother, you saved me there! Lol. Have a great rest of your week JC!
I feel like Back to Black transport me to a place where I feel like a Boss. Armani Black Code makes me feel like I am the Ladies Man even at 70 years old. Play intense make me feel like I am the stuff. Baccarat Rouge 540 make me feel like I got Money. Lafayette Street by Bond # 9 I think I'm a compliment 🧲
as i living in the UK, it seems you guys '' state side '' do not readily have access to fragrances, as we do here in Europe ect ect. Yes, you do get the fragrances, just seems its a bit s l o w in receiving. Yet, saying that, some houses i even purchase from stock holders in the States. Ironic, yes ?
@@stayfreshproductions Those kind of strips are mainly used in testing fans since they are aerodynamic. They have no other purpose except to miss like 70% of the sprayed fragrance. I think Creed's Aventus and Creed's Original Vetiver during the summer and Man of Class also Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver also gives me that same vibe
