huawei's harmony os is the only os comparable to mac os. the way it syncs with other devices is the best. if youre talking about ecosystem, huawei is the way to go

Microsoft apps run smoothly. If you want to use it with the browser, make sure you are in the desktop mode.

Hey man, unfortunately I don't have the cable to test it out.
As for the M-Pencil, you charge it wirelessly by sticking it to the side of the tablet. You can see it at 0:15

The thing I dont like about the pc level WPS they dont have arial font WHICH MAJORITY OR ALL TEACHERS REQUIRED FOR STUDENTS... So im force to use Microsoft office 365 to change font. How to put new fonts on WPS office for matepad guys?🥺

I have huawei matepad t 10s. I am unable to get a normal pc like cursor when I connect a mouse. Cursor I'm getting is a circular one like in iPad.

great review mr lim!but you should consider using a bluetooth mouse cause plugging in dongle is too much hassle
Oh yes! It works with bluetooth mouse I do have one at the time but I wanted to also see if the Type-C port supports the adapter as some tablets don't. Glad it works here!

Both is compatible and has the same function. If you're looking a powerful CPU and high refresh rate, then Matepad Air is for you
I think for school, 11.5 is enough for you. You can safe money for other stuff
Ignoring the budget : go for Huawei Matepad Air. Better processor with its latest Snapdragon 888. Can do more.

MatePad Air might be a better choice. It comes with the M-Pencil together in the bundle, and the latency is super low. It almost feels like an actual pen and paper.
I'm a android fan, but tbh get the Air 5, as the M1 chip will eat the huawei alive

What if comparing to Huawei matepad 11 2023?
MatePad Air is RM800 more than MatePad 11 2023. Here's why:
- Slightly larger display (11.5" vs 11")
- Higher refresh rate (144Hz to 120Hz - even smoother)
- Stronger processor (SD888 vs SD865)
- Larger storage and RAM
- Larger battery
So ultimately, it depends on your budget.

Huawei tablets are the best among all Android tablets imo. The rest release tablets but don't focus on ecosystem.

Hey buddy! If I'm not mistaken most MatePads use Snapdragon processors. I don't recall testing any MatePads that run on Mediatek.
Also for the display size, some people prefer 11.5" as it's sort of the sweet spot for portability.
It's lighter, and easier to hold especially with one handed operation. But I definitely see your point for a larger display as well!

Huawei uses Mediatek processors only on the law budget smartohones, like Nova Y61, Y6p etc. In the law budget tablets, uses Kirin processors like Kirin 659 and sometimes Kirin 710. But usually, all the mid-range and entry-level devices, works with snapdragon.
I was once a Huawei super fan until they removed the google services. I haven't been abel to update myself with whatever is happening with Huawei now. Please can someone tell me it has legit google services now without a use of other third party apps or system? If yes, pls I need to go back to my first love camera, the Leica Cameras in Huawei phones.

The antenna is really good if you're mostly out and about trying to connect to WiFi. You can try using your neighbors WiFi as well ;)
