It depends on what you want, both have the same specs. Do you want dust proofing with a fan attachment and a nice front facing camera? Then go with the Rog 8. Do you want a built in fan, no camera bump and a under display camera? Go with the 9 pro plus. Just make sure whatever phone model you get you try and go for the 24 gigs of ram model for each.

RedMagic is the way to go then bro 👍. The refresh rate is higher on the Rog 8 pro, 165 vs 120 so keep that in mind. The built in fan is still worth having vs an attachment you need to carry around
Hey mate, are you having issues with rgb lightings since latest update? Like it turns on for a few secs then turns off when I am in media or stuffs? Doesn't stay on like it used to. Be it media rgbs or the fan rgbs.
Is it a setting that sort of reset the option? Like it's not on consistent lighting it's on breathe mode or something like that? I haven't noticed anything odd on my end tbh.

@@TechReviewTom ok it would seem the update messed up with the RGBs for many other people, it either stay on for the fan without being able to turn it off or change it or like my issue where you can't have both RGBs lighting simultaneously. Hopefully a fix is coming soon.
Yeah I think it'll improve with time. The weird texture glitch thing looks horrible and idk why it's there, before the release I didn't have the texture over it. With time it will improve just like Cod M did.

Yeah i get 120 fps also I dont use anything but balanced mode when gaming but i can't use 120 fps for long not that it lags but only for wzm my rm reached 60° after 1 match only when i have it on 120 not 60😢
you can use it even if it hits 60 degrees, these chips are designed to handle those temperatures and effectively introduce lag when the hit dangerous temperatures which in actual believe it or not are well above 80-90+ degrees, the rest of the phones introduce that lag quite early but red magic and asus gaming phones are designed that way to tolerate higher temperatures without introduction of lag, so don't worry about it and play at 120, if you're really bothered about the degrees hitting 60 maybe get an external cooler but trust me, these chips can easily withstand high degrees watch videos on how these chips are manufactured and their actual thermal capacity.

Yeah, if you can get then get the red magic cooler It's much better than others as it has liquid cooling as well.@@TechReviewTom
