    Hi the video was very informative and useful. Can a human gene expression be analyzed in the plants by this tool.

      Thank you. ou can check whether the human gene under analysis is expressed in plants. If it is expressed, You can check for its expression in the plant for sure using the tools described in the video.

    whats difference between absolute and relative?

    • @BiologyLectures
      @BiologyLectures  Год назад

      Absolute expression quantifies the actual number of transcripts present in a sample. It provides a direct measurement of the abundance of a specific transcript, often represented as copies of the transcript per unit of sample (e.g., per cell or per microgram of RNA).
      Relative expression compares the expression level of a target transcript relative to the expression level of one or more reference transcripts (often referred to as housekeeping genes or internal controls) within the same sample. The expression of the target gene is normalized to the expression of the reference gene(s). The relative expression value does not provide information about the actual number of transcripts but indicates how the expression of the target gene changes concerning the reference gene(s) under different conditions.

      Please use the coorrect gene ids. Then you should be able to find.
