Fully agree, I've played it a few times solo and it is the best solo game ive played, feels almost as though you are against an actual player. Different each time due to the different gods and different end game points cards

Thanks for the review Mike, now I'll have to take out my copy of Mezo and try out that solo variant.

During the tribe step of solo, when the rules say place 1 shaman and 1 warrior in each region seems way overpowered to me, feels like id never catch up when im only allowed to deploy 3. Am i reading that right?

I tried the solo mode for Mezo recently. I haven't play the multiplayer version yet, but I really wanted to try the game. After one age, I was crushed, had barely won a fight and the AI had twice as many points as me. Maybe I did something wrong (from what I saw in the review I didn't), but the difficulty seemed to steep to me. Maybe having some experience with the regular game would help me greatly.

Thanks Mike. Been wanting to get this to the table after hearing you speak about it with Dan, and that’ll be a lot more likely with this great rules teach.
