Great matches, Neil. When I think that I'm getting closer to your level, you go even higher. Your consistency and feeling have improved considerably, particularly that backhand opening that is so important, the movement is so smooth and you automatically get ready for the next one. One piece of advice, if you don't mind: Practise long serves with no spin, they work wonders against long pimples. Since they can't generate their own spin, if you have long serves that you can either put wide to their backhand or their pocket, they will give you a lot of easy third ball attacks. Of course, if you abuse it, they will start doing devilish things with their pips, but one of my secrets against these kind of players is service variation, look where they are positioned and send the ball a bit away from their bat, kicker serves and float serves are uncomfortable for them to receive.
Practice long and short serves with straight backspin as well. They win lots of cheap free points if you alternate between heavy backspin and heavy nospin with similar motions but serve the change up at critical points. Since you counter topspin well, a simple play is to serve really heavy backspin yo the pips and counter topspin the return. Off the bounce. Unless the pips has sponge, this should be your default play.
