Yes, we managed it!! Saturday everyone was well enough to travel to Inverness for our family christmas shopping trip and this time the whole family were together 😁 So, the day started early to allow us to get on the road as soon as possible, we stopped at Tesco in Inverness first to pick up supplies for lunch and then the rest of the day didn't go quite as planned 🥴 Even so, it was a fab day at the Eastgate shopping centre that's made us all feel very christmassy and it was lovely spending time together as a family!! 😊 The start of our Vlogmas 2022. That was lovely vlog guys, the kids all behaved beautifully, zoe gets gold star for holding car on her clutch on hill with full load,ben gets gold star for presenting skills in busy city,jo gets a gold star for his excellent behaviour , toby gets a gold star for his kindness ( he looks so adorably at his younger sibs) , noah gets gold star for patience , agnes gets gold star for not crying when santa had no free from chocs, leah and erin get gold stars for being enthusiastic shoppers, eva gets gold star for being happiest shopper, the older girls all get gold stars for being so mature and helpful and flo flo cant have a gold star incase she eats it🤣xxxx

I love ❤️ Christmas shopping 🛒 for food! I remember the days looking for clothes for my children for their Christmas 🎅 parties at school and for Christmas Day we use to enjoy going to primark a week before they broke up from school! But their Christmas 🎅 presents were bought when kids were in school or on a Sunday in December and I went on my own and I hid the presents 🎁 in my loft!
Tik Tok has been taking a lot of the vloggers that I watch down. The weird thing is these vloggers do budgeting videos. So I wouldn't feel too bad. Joseph sounds like he had a very good day. My daughter has autism and prewarning her about upcoming events helped immensely. She also does not like anyone invading her space so Joseph did remarkable in such crowds. Small awards, given at random times throughout the day, also helped her to learn coping skills. They are no longer needed.
I love the way you help Joseph. Have you talked with his doctor about sensory processing disorder. My daughter has that and her behaviors in the past were much like his. We say that she sees and hears better than others and it's too much for her to handle. Talking with him about what to expect helps. Noise cancelling g headphones and fidget toys can help too. Therapies help too.

To avoid holding up the line at the cash register and taking so much of your time standing at the cash register to pay for each child's item separately...
Put all their money together in ONE Large envelope. On the back of the envelope, write each child's name down and next to their name write their starting balance.
Pay for everything together and put the receipts in the envelope. At the end of the day, use the receipts to see how much each child's item cost, subtract that from their start money and write their remaining balance.
If the kids want several items from different stores, just do a quick subtraction in your head or on the phone calculator to see how much money they have left to spend at the next store. Or have one of the teenagers keep track of the balances.
This will free up more of your time to shop instead of standing in line and the people behind you in the line will appreciate it that you aren't taking so much of their time waiting on you, especially during the Christmas shopping season when the stores are so full of people.
Child A... $40/ spent $21 + $1.47 tax for toy/ Balance is $17.53
Child B ...$33/ spent $9.39 + $.66 tax for makeup/ Balance is $22.95
Child C...$14/ spent $3.22 and $8.04 candy and toy/ Balance $1.95
Wow maybe next year go with the family and you do the adding, subtractions and equals that way people behind them won’t be put out having to queue whilst they pay for the goods …..or even better tell the people who are moaning about queuing that maybe because it’s Christmas there will be queues everywhere and to maybe shop online if they don’t like waiting!!!!!!!!!

They like suggestions and ask for them so just stop with your attitude!
This was a suggestion for them to save time at the cash register which will give them more time to shop plus, they will not be holding up the line of people behind them during the busy shopping season.
@@america1403 I hardly think my comment was “blowing a gasket “ I found your comment very patronising , Zoe and Ben I’m sure know exactly how to organise the money they have for the children. And as I said sod the people waiting it’s tough, and If people don’t like it do the shopping online. The trouble is with people now they get angry or impatient for the smallest of things and I know if I was waiting for Zoe to pay rather than get impatient I’d be more impressed that those children were so well behaved.
Inverness looks lovely! We stayed there in 2019, and it was such a lovely place. Your kids are fantastically well behaved, Ben and Zoe, and I loved seeing the three little girls in their long winter coats and boots - very cute!
Enjoyed that Joseph did do well he look as iff he enjoyed it he’s just a wee star ⭐️ lovely family they look as iff they had fun yous are my favourite love your wee chats 😊❤

Brilliant Vlog. Yes I did keep pausing on your journey looking at the amazing scenery..wonderful. I remember when I was Joseph's age, if we ever went anywhere busy, I used to have a melt down. We were late going somewhere one day really busy and I went into melt down. My dad just picked me up, put me on his shoulders, that was it, I stopped. So anytime we went somewhere busy I would go on his shoulders. XX

Another brilliant vlog sullivan family you all looked like you had a good time out the lights in shopping centre looked lovely.. I think all over UK and Scotland was rammed with cars in Liverpool the whole city was grid locked taking people hours to get out of a car park thankfully I finished mine weeks ago 😂hope zoes car was OK after the funny smell because that's usually sign of clutch lol anyway good to see you all again your vlogs have got me in the real Xmas mood this year and I'm like you are this year and gone all out 😁

My daughter has identical 3 year old girls who have just been diagnosed with autism its so hard for her as they don't sleep and both have different issues but u keep going because u have to hope u all have a lovely Xmas x

Hi Zoe. I think I’m on the wrong vlog, but I just read that Flo was coughing all night. You may already know this, but if you raise the crib so that the head angles up, it will make all the difference to the coughing. The bigger the angle the better. I learned that trick years ago, and could not believe how it worked. Virtually no coughing after that!!!!

Like I've said before with our grandson, Bryce, we learned his trigger points real fast. We learned how to avoid his trigger points. We should have known he was going to be a challenge as he was born in the back seat of my car with me driving. That was a real trip let me tell you. His daddy had to deliver him. Not something I ever want to do again.

Oh my gosh Zoe. YOU are my mother reincarnated. My parents also had 11 children. She was also our accountant and kept our money so organized.
