Thank you for the quick tutorial. Ive got a video on my phone is there anyway you can fade sound in and out with this program.just i need to fade out bad language in the audio. I noticed you separated the audio from the video onto a different track but didnt show if the separated audio could be changed thank you
Very useful and concise, thank you for the tutorial. Was hesitant to use this software to edit some videos for my channel at first, so thought to check for tutorials to get the lay of the land and now I feel more reassured, it seems like quite user-friendly, standard software. I like how the keyframes and certain other elements are represented in the same way as other software I have used in the past, so that will make the transition to this programme much smoother.
great video just a question im not understanding how to cut like a video at the middle so like a specific part of the video to cut that what should we do
How do I manage multiple long clips in OpenShop? When I continue to add clips, some of the shorter clips I used initially begin to shrink. If continue adding new clips I will start to lose my work from the left side. Obviously, I am doing something wrong. How do I avoid this problem?
I stay with Kdenlive as my big main editor but OpenShot is still an impressive easy to use fast program that appeals to me. I plane to use it for a fast, small second editor. OpenShot looks to me it is for simple maybe smaller works and projects. More preferable for this elegant simple program for these kind of easy projects than Davinci Resolve, Premier pro etc. which is for robust works.
After saving the video when I try open the file which I saved Iam not able to open it Iam getting error and it is showing file cannot be found please help me
This is my personal opinion between the two free video editors. Openshot is great if you are a beginner or looking for an entry-level video editor. It's easy to learn and has many features that you need for most home videos and personal RUclips channels. Shortcut has a lot more features for video editing. But it's a quite a learning curve if you are new to video editing. If you are a newbie you may want to start with Openshot. As you progress and want more features for your video editing, you can go with Shortcut.
Hi, thank you so much for the tutorial. Actually I'm facing a problem with this version of Openshot (3.1.1): when I hit the play button, I've noticed that the last frame of my video is left blank with the screen all black. Do you know how to fix this issue?
Thank you for a nice tutorial. I have a question. Is it possible to place two video clips on top of each other (two tracks) and make both of them visible, by giving the upper one an opacity of, say, 40? That would be cool! Best, Andy.
One more question, please, since I'm now adding a number of video clips and photos to my project. It's supposed to become a music video, but when I play it, it keeps lagging. Is there a maximum number of clips or sequences that can be added to one project, or what could the problem be?
Well just flipping great. I have a slightly older version. Right off the back, I dont HAVE "docs." Cannot seem to find a tutorial for what I HAVE. 2.5.1 Cannot get an update because my mac is 10.13 and I need 10.15 MY COMPUTER IS TOO OLD TO UPDATE. By chance you wouldn't have a tutorial for MY VERSION would ya? Not that it matters I need to figure this out NOW. Husband died this month, this will be for the funeral TOMORROW. Took all night to get photos and videos together, guess I will have to either figure this out on my own or find something else. Still.... if you DO have a tutorial for MY version please post a link, I haven't used this in ages but do remember it was sweet.
You say "you may not be able to record audio" in OpenShot. Does that mean some people CAN, though? Why wouldn't you be able to? Thanks for the great video!
when im done editing the video I cant save it anywhere no matter wich folder I want the video to be saved in, it always says "please select a valid place to save video"
I watched this tutorial in 6 MINUTES on 1.5x playback speed xD But seriously, thanks for this video it is literally perfect; all other tutorials should be deleted and I'm serious.
Love this sort of presentation. Blaze through everything so we know what can be done, we can pause and rewind if we need to.
This is super useful, thanks very much. Clearly presented. No music. Concise.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for the great introduction! Definitely jumpstarted my video journey with it. Can’t wait to get in there!
Thank you so much! I haven't even finished watching and you have solved a problem I had with audio volume.
Thank you very much!!
Really well done! Thank you!
Just the sort of free editor I've been looking for. I'll definitely be installing this when I get home tonight.
hows it going so far?
@@S.P.A.M I actually forgot to get it that night 🤣🤣🤣 maybe tonight though.
That was one of the most concise and informative tutorials I've ever had the pleasure of learning from.
Thank you very much!!!
Can you apply the blur to small section of the video?

Nice....will need to watch this several times to get it.
Very nice, thank you... but there's one thing you didn't mention. How do you take gaps out automatically between clips after editing?
Great presentation dude. You just byte sized my learning curve. Awesome, Thank you so much ❤
Happy to help! =D
Best tutorial you can find! Thx
Thank you!!
Can we get rounded corners on video ?
if you record your video and cam together is there a way to seperate the two so they can be moved and positioned freely withing the preview video box?
Is it possible to stretch the clip as an image?
Excellent Video! Thanks John
Sir the waveform are not so bright how we can make it larger and clearer
how to render video using gpu? only cpu available on Open Shot?
After saving the video when I try open the file which I saved Iam not able to open it Iam getting error and it is showing file cannot be found please help me
Is it free to export videos in HD?
Thanks for the video Sir. Which is better between Openshot and Shotcut?
Thy are more or less at the same level :)

Thanks for the tutorial. It's a helpful first stop. I'm trying to make a short film by myself
Good luck with such film!!
with the updated version.. im trying to export a video 1080x720 60fps but the option has disappeared, how can i retrieve this
All around pretty good tutorial, I would recommend.
You say "you may not be able to record audio" in OpenShot. Does that mean some people CAN, though? Why wouldn't you be able to? Thanks for the great video!
Sorry this was a bad English sentence probably. You cannot record in OpenShot, but you can use Audacity, which is free to use.
Good intro for an excellent and intuitive video editing tool.. thnx..
thanks for helping me out it so use ful
No problem!!
Amazing tutorial, thanks
Glad you liked it!
Which one do you think is better, shotcut or open shot?
It depends on the work you are doing. Openshot is way easier to learn than Shotcut but Shotcut has more features and its imo more useful.
when im done editing the video I cant save it anywhere no matter wich folder I want the video to be saved in, it always says "please select a valid place to save video"
Just don't delete anything. Add part 1 or whatever at the end of what was autofilled. If that makes any sense.
amazing. thanks.
Thank you too!
I can't deselect the cutting tool
Thanks ❤❤❤
Very helpful
Glad you think so!
thanks very much :)

Horrible video editing software, stay away from it
why though??
@TheDenofhoi4 made my system crash, it's unstable
not a very helpful tutorial
How can we improve?
It's probably EXCELLENT editing software 👀🤔😯I know I'm a 100% newb at using any editing software.... Or maybe I'm just a dummy with it 🤣 🤔
what.
