Mike seems to be a total beast out the front a lot. Maybe the training for the Isle of White paid off? That 38mph descent looked FAST! Feels like 200 mph in a car I bet.
That descent is fast and used to have potholes too. The bridge and speed humps at the make it interesting 👍 I do like to take advantage of straight flat roads 😆 but I never take it too seriously just having fun👍 Cheers for watching
Well done Mike,Julie and crew very well done coffee and final yee haa to finish the ride, still quite wet in places, i rode bridleways yesterday and had to turn around it was so wet it was un rideable. Enjoy your week
We are very lucky to have some great group rides to join. This was a little faster than usual for this group but no one gets left behind 👍 Cheers Peter
I nearly joined you on this one, I was told a bit too late (I'm not on FB) . I hope to join you on the next one I'll see if I can grab a couple of buddies to join in too.
Gravel Guerrilla is usually the first Sunday of each month. I believe there's a Hampshire Gravel Cyclists Thursday evening ride from Longcross this week.👍
Another nice ride, Wheelers. The weather looks a lot like what we’re having in Boise right now. Would someone please tell me where the heck is spring? And is it odd that since getting the Checkpoint (with tubeless tires) I much prefer the crunchy sound of gravel to the whirrr of the road? I find myself going off the asphalt, more and more, just to listen to that sound. 🚵♂😀
Yep, we're getting a bit of everything at the moment. Still waiting for those days when we get home from a ride and the bike just need a quick wipe with a damp cloth.😁👍 Can't a bit of gravel crushing. Thanks John
Great ride

Looked like a fun ride with friends! Nice job.
It was good fun Dan! 😊 Enjoy your week 👌🚴🏻♀️
That was great! No hanging about on this one - a lot of hard pedaling. Mike's masterful roundabout approach stops the traffic.
Haha! Always give it the beans across the runway segment. Roundabouts are the best👍 Cheers John...
Cor strewth... You do set a good pace on these rides!
Good ride!
It depends on who's in the group, always no drop with plenty of places to regroup 👍 Cheers Mick
That breakfast has made me hungry, veggie one please.
Yes, it was spot on...👍 About right for the ride home... Cheers

@@WheelersAtLarge Your videos always inspire me to get there on my bike 🚴♂️👍😊
Great video. I do believe you need to plan a more yeehaa! rich route, just for Julie's sake
That's why we join other groups from time to time, so Julie can't tell me off for not adding enough YEEHAA opportunities in the route 😂👍 Cheers Andrew
Guerrilla. Saludos desde España.

Nice video and beautiful part of the world, Subbed. Just wondering if any of your group ride E gravel bikes?
Yes there are certainly the occasional eGravel bike riders in the Hampshire Gravel Group. Everyone is welcome 👍
