Another fantastic ride Mike and Julie not quite the road adventure Julie was expecting, well Julie at least you had a couple of tunnels to fit a few yee haa's in, Yes Mike you right the wind is relentless. Have yourselves a wonderful week.
The sun is shining and you are out biking what could be better than that. You guys are having a good time out there and when the wind is behind it's even better. Including the ferry too, nice. Have a great week!
Some of the best adventure rides are done on gravel bikes, involving both gravel & road. I just did one last Saturday where I started out riding the katy rail to trail gravel ride & reached a town where I veered off onto the road & rode 27 miles through scenic countryside & then dropped back down onto the katy gravel trail. That’s a lot of yeehaaa’s-Mikes gonna be hearing them in his sleep! 😂
Had to take my shoes and socks off to count all those yee has... 🤔😛 Julie sounding very tuneful there, singing away at the start. I reckon you should do viewer requests - I'll kick off with asking for the Push Bike Song by Mungo Jerry 😉😁 Another good ride to watch on an otherwise dull Tuesday afternoon - great stuff as per usual! 👍
Thanks Mick, i didn't expect Mike to include all of them! 🤭😂🤣😂 Thanks for watching them all! 🤫 Mike's just played the push bike song, I could definitely muller that! 😅🤣
Well I thought you could do the vocals and Mike could do the 'tish oo ah' bits - a duet! 😉 But, I now wish I hadn't thought of it as I was out on my bike this morning and couldn't get that bleddy song out of my head😜 Hoist by my own petard! 🤣
Just noticed Mike you have a Wahoo, I've just won an auction on a V1 Wahoo Elemnt Roam. Have you ever used the navigation feature by using Komoot courses? I'd be interested
Yeah, I have the one off payment version of Komoot and it works fine. Connect komoot and Wahoo apps then set the route up in Komoot and it shows in the element app on your phone where you choose it and send to device.
@@WheelersAtLarge Thanks I've just ridden a route following your instructions, I also have the one-off payment arrangement with Komoot and the navigation worked great. I've also just bought the heart rate monito app which uses the HR sensor in my apple watch and connects up to the Wahoo as if it were a chest strap, costing only £4.99 per year. I thought the HR data would have been picked up by the iOS Health app but doesn't as it's not sent over on the bluetooth connection. Oh well, technology seems to drain the pocket as well as the batteries eh?
@@TheBikeRoom yes it does. I bought a cheap Garmin watch which sends HR to the Wahoo, with GPS turned off the watch has plenty of battery. Everything gets stored on Strava, Wahoo and the route on komoot. The .fit file (raw data) from each ride gets uploaded to Dropbox for use with Garmin Virb to sometimes produce the stat overlays.
