Jesus, I just realized this is Enigma. Sorry. Yes, you're right.
I thought I was pretty clever when I realized there was a Tetris riff in the song "Extinguish Them" and an Inspector Gadget riff in this song, but judging from the comments I'm incredibly late on these realizations. Oh well, that doesn't make them any less incredible.

It's actually the guitar. It's a 7 string tuned down to drop C. To get anywhere close the 6th and 7th strings are bass strings.

Guitar teacher showed me beautiful agony by this band and I was listening to different songs and started listening to this one. Halfway through I hear one Mario riff and I was like coincidence. Listened to it a second time and I can hear Tetris, inspector gadget, Mario, undertale. Hmmm so that’s why it’s called enigma
It's called enigma because the album is about super heros and villains. So this is a nod to the Riddler.

One of my favorite tracks from this album, next to Dark Monarch and Ronin. This track always reminded me of Mario Brothers. lmfao They have finally found their niche, in becoming icons of Djent, since their previous albums, yet still very underrated.

In this case he has a 7 string legator guitar with a floyd rise set up at drop C1 with emgs.
Surely just an Axe Fx patch and really good pickups. Bare Knuckle makes a good pickup for low tones.
He uses bass strings on the 6th and 7th strings to be able to tune down that low.
