Instead of lowering the saturation, you might get better results by placing an "RGB curves" node, then adding a point in the middle of the curve and dragging it a little down and a little to the right. This gives you a more desired color transformation.
@@purpleparkstudios4124 when you face a light, the area that is facing the light should be brighter than the side that’s not. Such as the moon, bright side and dark side. Wow! I was just looking for this after I tried my problem is that I can't export a video file with a transparent background but only a black background I would really appreciate it if there is a video that explains this
To export video with transparent background in blender you need to render as an image sequence and be sure to change the settings from RGB to RGB + Alpha
@@purpleparkstudios4124 Just as an experiment, next time you're setting up, take it down when you put the roughness up. You might like the difference (if you want to obviously 👍). Another great video.
Ok but how u get the green away fast ? Im Experimenting with transparent shading, and it works ok , meaning u can make the green background transparent, like that u skip one step in after effects or smt, how u take the green way? With what software? In compositing nodes there is already a chroma key node, not in material shading yet but it should come soon and than u can simply tell blender to make that colour range transparent

Blender is great for keying but I prefer to use After Effects to key all my footage. I use key light spill suppressor. Then I will render the keyed footage from AE as a QuickTime with RGB+Alpha enabled. I hope that helps to answer your question

Hi very useful tutorial.. thank you.. can you help me after i import the plane in the material i cant find in the settings back face culling and others.. plz help... i am using 4.2
When you originally remove the background be sure to render or export the video with RGB + Alpha so that when you import the keyed footage into Blender using images as planes you have transparency
So most likely the footage you are importing into Blender dosnt have an alpha channel. You can fix this in Blender. Go to the shader editor and view the nodes. You should see the images as planes node and the principal shader node. Disconnect the alpha channel. Then plug the color from the images as planes into the alpha channel on the principle shader. You may need to slap a color ramp in between to dial in the effect but you should notice that now you have a transparency. I may make a more in depth video on this topic soon
Interesting. But I understand what bothers me in this scene. Somehow I felt that something isn't seem to be correct, and that is the sense of scale. Well, maybe the 3d objects scale is okay, but depth of feeld gives very very small size feeling, because everyone who understands cameras, knows that DOF wouldn't be working with a human scale or larger scenes like that.
