Here’s the update. Brainiac is the real villain and he is behind the whole thing since the end of Dark Crisis of Infinite Earths and The Light is turns out to be the House of Brainiac and he uses Amanda Waller as his unwitting pawn and taking advantage of her crusade of take out superheroes and metahumans for the greater good for his own gain and his plan to take out superheroes to take Earth for his collection and Waller realize this and she refuses and failed to realize that Brainiac is using her because he knows her all too well. Brainiac sees the different side of humanity is that power corrupts everything and he knows knowledge is power and power is knowledge and the reason why Brainiac created the Brainiac Queen is to prevent Amanda Waller to achieve her goal and she’ll never have true power. Talk about a smart move because Brainiac is the smartest villain in DC Universe! Amanda Waller is bringing Earths destruction because her crusade to take out superheroes for the greater good is a big mistake because there’s consequences for the world without heroes and it’s Project Cadmus all over again and either she realizes her mistake and see the error of her ways and redeems herself or she’ll die because of her selfish wants and her lust for control and heroes are the symbols of hope and not the dagger to people’s backs or threats and that’s not what heroes do. The world needs heroes and always has.
Nah, I'm betting Braniacs plan with the queen backfired. Waller gets her on her side, uses braniac tech in her Amazos, brainiac gets taken out right before Absolute power kicks off. Waller already called out braniac and threatened to come for him. Plus, she has failsafe. If the Suoerfamily doesn't shut him down, failsafe will. Either way, us readers are in for a treat.
I also suspect a triumphant and "surprise" return of Rick Flag to play a part in stopping Waller. He's still put there hunting her down since the end of the last SS run and was low key teased in Dream Team issue 3.

I sub Action Comics, Superman, Titans, Shazam, and World's Finest. Will i be able to continue reading these comics WITHOUT getting this event? Usually when an event happens, the regular comics will be incomprehensible unless you buy the event. Sometimes they make it so youre not forced to buy the event, like Knight Terrors. Trying to figure out if i need to drop my DC titles.
If Failsafe is involved, I will be at least checking this out. Amanda Waller is by far one of my least favorite DC characters , so fingers crossed its solid & helps alot its only 5 issues. Thanks pimp & much ❤❤
