  • How to make room for your spark plugs if they hit the primary tubes of your headers. especially on angle plug heads with second generation camaros.

    Denting headers doesnt cause hp loss look it up on engine masters

    Would make it a lot easier if you used some heat. Even propane or map if you don't have an oxy torch. Lesser chance of creasing or cracking, especially with cheap or old headers. Just my experience. Great video with a great result.

    I have to do a similar job to get a decent Driveshaft/Tail-shaft clearance on a round cross-member.
    Not sure how yet because it's welded in place & not removable. There is no room to swing a hammer under there either.
    Might have to invent a bolt down tube crusher of some description. It will have to be pretty heavy duty though, because the cross-member tube is made from 2.5mm steel.

    Great video! I'm gonna do the same to my header to clear the steering shaft on my swap, im guessing the solid brass piece is to get the dimple started?

    What do you use to tighten the header bolts on the inside of the bend? You know like the #1 cylinder on both sides?

      U can try shorty plugs..but next option is to bang..wont hurt anything..and wont lose horsepower..thanks for watching
