I'm about to go up above the Dalles Dam by Browns Island this weekend. Do you think jigging some blades would be effective at this location ? Thank you for all the wonderful videos!
Hey Tyler, I don’t believe I’ve seen you do one yet, how about a comparison on fish catch bags. My cooler in a small boat takes up a lot of space. Thanks for all your info thus far.
@@spiltmilt for awhile I was looking at the autopilot. but rn it seems most of the old town line is sold out. I got an update the autopilot got restocked at austikayak.com but sold out again 5m later. I also found one at sportsmans here in vancouver, but it sold before I got wife permission lol... I would be happy with a pdl 106 at this stage. just something to hit up those east side waters without hauling the boat.
@@spiltmilt Thanks man. I really appreciate that. Il be going through a rotator cuff surgery here beginning of august and wont be able to get back on the water until around january for the winter kokanee run. I might snag a cheaper kayak in the meantime. or just nut up and bring the boat lol.
Without electronics just proves you are an exceptional fisherman with the skills to not have to rely on technology. Well done!!!
Would like to see the cook on this one! Your the man

Absolutely. You can also try locate where fish are holding and target those areas with blade bait
What time of the year do you use blade bait at Rufus woods?
It can work year round but I do best with them during the fall and winter

Good idea!
Do you ever jig for kokanees? At Flaming Gorge it is very common. Using 1/2 oz jigging Rapala and other jigs.
Yes but not my preferred method
Awesome video! It would be cool to see a shot of your rig to see how you tie everything up.
Comment and like for that big sucka fish! The real star of the show 🤣
dying for an old town pedal drive kayak. they are sold out everywhere i look.
Which model you looking for?

I'll keep any eye out. Probably won't see another AP120 in the Northwest until end of August. I will contact the regional rep though and let you know.
