If any of you mention the bogie wheels I forgot to animate I will make a callout post on my Twitter.com I am also hereby deleting any discussion, mention, or comparison to Thomas the train from this here comment section.
Another fantastic train animation. The thoroughbred really had a unique design, 1:42 Amazing curve animation, 2:45 The miniature gauge engine flashback was adorable! Well done Scott!
0:35 I love the guard or something put his finger down and after the train whistled like the guard made the train whistle blew also Great job I love this video so much! Well done Scott
I was a little doubtful at first, but the Americanized features on the British engines really grew on me. Kinda wonder how you'd make over my true love, the old SECR C Class now.
Me neither the only British locomotives I’ve heard that ran in America was Flying Scotsman, Dutchus of Hamilton and a Schools Class Cheltnom I think. It feels like are they actually staying there or are they just being loaned for a few months
I actually was really pleased by the result of this one. Felt like it was being coherent with itself the whole way through, minus the end bit. I like how you tie up the end with the Sniper character separately from the main action and yet it's not conveyed in a way that's out of place as a result of establishing the assets playing into the scene earlier. Nice one mate as Sniper would say. Regards, Samuel Farris.
I love how you rebranded some of the locomotives to TF2 companies to run in the TeamFortress world going the extra mile to add some with American fittings like headlamps and bells 👍
For anyone curious as to why the Thoroughbred looks strange compared to the other British locomotives featured in this video, its because the model is a recolored version of the Americanized Flying Scotsman from its 1969 USA tour where it had to wear a cow catcher, bell, and headlamp in order to comply with American railroad regulations.
I'm not sure how accurate that locomotive is. A Gresley A3 Pacific, painted in 1948 to 1952 BR blue Livery, wearing a bell and Cow catcher only used in America. I love the A3 in BR Blue look though, it's such a rare sight.
It’s interesting that you used the USA Tour Flying Scotsman for this Video 1:01 but it’s Blue, has Blu on its tender and a nameplate that says Bette Darling
There's no such thing as "a Pere Marquette 1225", as there is only one of them. 1225 is a singular engine, not a whole class. They were the Lima Berkshires types, with the PM classifying them as N-1 and the New York, Chicago, and St. Louis Railroad as S-2.
Also right now that 4-4-4-4 T1 5550 is getting her wheel frame ready to be stored in the Pennsylvania railroad T1 4-4-4-4 Duplex underneath the Pennsylvania railroad T1Boiler right now in October 2024 update on the RUclips channel The T1 Trust right now
Why on earth does the blue steam locomotive in this video look like the Flying Scotsman from she toured the United States of America from 1969 through 1973?
i really love that you reused existing texures and and decals to make custom engines. and using music that fits TF2 itself. like the american modifications added to flying scotsman. also. i have one question. please dont delete this one. why do you not like the comments about their opinions saying it looks similar to thomas. not to offend or anything. (seriously dont delete this. im scared-) i like the use of cuphead music. although.... okay nevermind
I choose not to associate with Thomas because his younger fans tend to only view railway related matters through the lens of a children's program. Completely nullifying any effort I put into my content because "it MUST be referring to or based on that thing from Thomas", which totally disregards that the operations seen in Thomas are based on real procedures and not the other way around, but that is a different conversation altogether. To most RUclips viewers, the relationship with their content creator of choice is that they merely wait a few days, with some even less than a few days, for a new video to show up. The only effort a viewer has to put in these days is not click off after a video takes longer than a TikTok. So when after putting in hours and I do mean hours of work into a project, let's say an animation, when young fans then instantly say "oh hey he did this because of Thomas" "oh this is just like Thomas" "Oh that is like that one train from Thomas (even though it completely isn't)", I'd rather those younger fans go to the channels that specifically make Thomas content to get their Thomas fill.
I love the American Flying Scotsman 1969 great British and Pennsylvania railroad T1 I her that there's a the new T1 called the the T1 trusts is coming back in real life they also found the T1 tender so yeah the Pennsylvania railroad T1 and the number is 5550 coming back in 2024 this next happy new year of 2024 I hopefully that some day in the future the flying Scotsman will visit the United States again someday in the future I wish the great British Tornado can come too a 4-6-2 Tornado can come to visit the United States as well
Well the program does render them one by one but it then compiles them into a .AVI which I then convert to MP4. Luckily it is not a case of loading in each frame to make a fluid video, haha!

the PRR T1 is such a marvel to look at love that its was used for this!
I was a little doubtful at first, but the Americanized features on the British engines really grew on me. Kinda wonder how you'd make over my true love, the old SECR C Class now.
I love how the engine has the same features as Flying Scotsman's "USA" look. Also love the usage of the Cuphead music.
Funny enough it's the size of a American Locomotive in this video, Well almost.
This video was great scott and the british steam locos with american mods looked amazing. I do hope you show a UP Big Boy on the next sfm. 👏👏👏👏👏
Maybe even the LNER U1. I can tell that will be created for 2025
Sup hywel I agree with both of you, both having a race would be nice too
To hell with the Big Boy. Use a challenger instead. Or any other Union Pacific locomotives.
Yooo Bob mate hows it going
Mr hood I would kindly ask you to shut up, he uses iconic loco models, people like big boy, SO WHAT ‘to hell with bigboy’ nit giving you a good name
I love everything about this video. Great visuals, great shots, and it has both American and British locomotives. This is really nicely done!
Say what you want but there aren't many things that are more intimidating than a T1
I guess Mann Co. has a lot of money to preserve a lot of Locomotives.
also with them still running to this day.
im never really used to seeing british stuff in america. but i think you did it well so it fits nicley

This is incredible, great work Scott!
I wasn't expecting to see a J50, nice to see my favourite loco :)
Yeah the J50’s have been around for a while now in SFM. One day I’m hoping for E2’s to get into SFM
I love the idea of british locomotive with cowcatchers, it looks so damn good
USA tour
@@beccajohnson-choma1762 yep...
Say what you will about americanizing locomotives, but ever engine needs at least a headlamp and bell.
@@SouRwy4501Productions i feel like if a bell is nessisary, a cowcatcher should be too

lovely stuff! keep up the awesome animations!

Bette darling looks like the LNER USA tour flying Scotsman
Sorry but the detail of the A3 just got me

that's flying Scotsman and tornado's whistle is train simulator classic
this was really nice, also was the 14xx and the steamroller a reference to the titfield thunderbolt

Does the A3 have a Teu fort shedcode? If so that's amazing

This is Something New... Steam engines with American Design i Like IT but IT Looks Like tthe Sams Design flying scotsman Had in the 1970
3:10 Is that a BR Class 46? Never thought I'd see that in SFM yet
Seems more like a baby deltic or class 37 imo
just a stylised 37

Bette Darling was the mother of the man who founded BLU.
@@FlyingScott Ah! I see, very clever =)
I just realized when will you do a video about the electric line that’s been featured in a couple videos
the mixing of american and british rolling stock and locomotives is cursed, but understandable

is Bette Darling ment to be Flying Sctosman?
Yes
okay good me smart and also you heard about Flying Scotsman accident?...
