Congrats on your first commissioned build Boyd! Really glad you showed how you spray painted the saucer rim. Those kinds of scenes are extremely helpful for people have not spray painted before. The open shuttlecraft door is cool and the bridge you nailed it there. The best I seen yet to date. Just exactly how I would want mine to work. Finally the weathering is just perfect. Not over done and not too rustic looking. Just perfect. Can't say enough about this build. Now I can model mine. Thanks.
Thanks Rick. I'm really happy to have this model going to John. I know how much he likes the ship and now he'll have one of his own to enjoy for a long time.
I really like how that turned out Boyd!!! I can't wait to see it in person!!! I know John is really going to enjoy the model. I'm looking forward to the next series... ~ Rick
Just received my TOS Enterprise kit. It's a huge kit. Looking forward to starting on it this weekend :). Thanks for all the great videos on wiring the lighting and the nacelle mods for the Bussard collectors.
She's a Gorgeous reproduction of a true classic. I look look forward to all your making of video's to see what's next. You never cease to amaze! & I see you becoming one of the top model makers on RUclips [Personally I think you passed everyone up already]. As always thanks for sharing on how to since all us amateurs out there can use all the help we can get. Thank you!
I'd love to see one of these demos with a trek star pattern on a 4k screen in background. These are filming quality! Thanks for letting us see what you do!
Boyd all I can say is thank you so much and BEAUTIFUL job!! I hope all your future clients are as happy with theirs as I am! Rick you now have another reason to come visit :))
WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! It actually brought me to tears. I have always liked the Enterprise. But in the last three years I have just fallen in Love with it! I may be getting a hold of you to get one made!!
Beautiful job, TW. I really enjoy watching your builds. Your technique, skill, attention to detail, and camera work are amazing. I look forward to seeing the K'tinga build(s).
I'm glad you are happy with how she turned out John. You'll have a nice conversation piece for years to come. And again, thank you for your confidence in me to build this for you. :)
Thanks for the kind mention! I didn't know you were doing TWO K'Tingas! And two different ones... I have another brass set for the "normal" K'Tinga. I might need to combine them at some point-- but that's why I'm floating these out there. At 7:40-- I must admit the ship still has the power to get to me-- the ship looks good with all her lights on.
The bussard lighting on this model is the Tenacontrols kit. It has an adjustable speed rate. The R2 kit uses motors to turn the bussard fans. It does not include anything to slow them down but an adjustable voltage regulator can be wired in to do that.
Great final product buddy. You are the master Enterprise builder. The paint job is perfect. All the work you did on the bridge and shuttle bay was worth it. Wow. Now the Klingons. I am addicted to watching all your work. Gives me idea's so when I go to build one of my Star Trek ships it will make it easier. Thanks bud.
Gorgeous work Boyd! Every time I see one of these Polar Lights kits, I just drool!!!! I don't have enough room for it my tiny 1k apartment here in Japan. My Gunpla habit satisfies though. Someday, I will build one of these. Preferably the refit. Your skills are amazing. Keep up the great work.
I have all of the JT Graphics resin parts coming in for this one. Also the P.E. parts from Eliot brown will be used. I made sure to place the windows in the correct locations based on some good screen grabs from STTMP so I won't need to worry about covering any of them up. I'll be using a nice Photon Launcher kit from Starling on it as well so look for the demo during PT 2 of the build series. :)
great!! I hope you get all the missing parts like the underslung disruptors and those on the upper rear wing. Steve Neil also has used modified engine grilles and more accurate neck connectors which look really nice (even if he accidentally covered one of his lit windows up with them)
Cont....job. It seems you have one hell of a work ethic! I really wish I could build one but lighting is a little intimidating. But I'm inspired to try watching you work. Good luck on your future builds! It will be fun watching, I'm sure.
Another gorgeous build... I'm sure it's just my eyes, or the angle, but the name and registry look crooked. Dang bad eyeballs. I do love the frosted look on the "cold" engines, and that tiny shuttle w/open door gives me a grin.
Wow! wow. excellent really amazed how much skill have there... she is beautiful ... if only you were in UK ill pay money for you build one for me... GREAT JOB
Which version of the K'Tinga Class Battlecruiser are you building for yourself? Will it be the ST: The Motion Picture version, or the revised Star Trek VI version that was Chancellor Gorkon's personal ship? The ST VI version had additional lighting and details on it...
Excellent job, nice work. Just wondering what this crystal clear product is for the windows, where I can get it and how to use it. Thanks for your help.
Very impressive results. As an intermediate modeler, I'm curious how long this build took you? I'm a little intimidated at attempting this build. What suggestions do you have? Thanks again for the inspiration.
Nicolas Ladizinsky He would say, take your time, don't rush, test fit each parts to see how it looked and what need to be fixed in order to look like it should, pre-paint insides if so desired, pay attention to glueing, many more tips he might offer.
Hi super work, just got my kit. First time for me trying to piant and light a start trek model. I am not a pro just a fan since 1966 @ 8 years old. Why are your engines so quiet? Should I use from Evans Interior lighting kit for your TOS 1:350 Round 2 starship kit or the lighting kit from Polar Lights. I don't want liquid fans sounds.
do you power all the lights from just 9vs? just bought the revell modell of this going to do it after i finish my romulan warbird which il upload on here after as i think u might like the paint job i done on it :D
Very Very nice buid!!!!!, Boyd love the work you do... I do have a question though..Where might I get those 3d looking figures you used in the 1:350 1701 Enterprise? they look better then the figures from the P.E. set
I love this ship and would really love to own a built model of this scale. I've put together a few model kits before in the past, but I don't have the patience for the fine detail, including lighting. One question, and I know this is 3 years after this video was posted, but I've just watching this and your refit enterprise finale. I don't know if it's the camera angle or what, but on both it always seems like the registration number decal on the top of the saucer is off-centre to the left a bit. Comparing the positions of the N and the final 1 to the ends of the ship name decal, it definitely seems off to the left. Is that just an camera trick thing?
Here she is in 1/350 scale and over 32 inches long, the classic TOS U.S.S. Enterprise by Polar Lights. If you would like to have one built by me personally contact me for more info :)

Thanks William. Can't help but giver her some love. I never get tired of the original ship.
~ Rick
That Enterprise turned out fantastic, Boyd! I'll be watching the two K'Tinga's come to life with lots of interest, sir.
Boyd the "E" came out great. Awesome work again. The K'Tinga's should be fun to watch.
Just received my TOS Enterprise kit. It's a huge kit. Looking forward to starting on it this weekend :). Thanks for all the great videos on wiring the lighting and the nacelle mods for the Bussard collectors.
She has never looked better. I really love it.

I LOVE the see thru dome mini diorama, along with the entire model... Thanks again for a great video.
Boyd all I can say is thank you so much and BEAUTIFUL job!!
I hope all your future clients are as happy with theirs as I am!

WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! It actually brought me to tears. I have always liked the Enterprise. But in the last three years I have just fallen in Love with it! I may be getting a hold of you to get one made!!
What a wonderful build! John will love it.The bussard lighting really finishes it off nicely!
Beautiful job, TW. I really enjoy watching your builds. Your technique, skill, attention to detail, and camera work are amazing.
I look forward to seeing the K'tinga build(s).
John is gonna be one happy customer, you outdid yourself on this one, Boyd!
I'm glad you are happy with how she turned out John. You'll have a nice conversation piece for years to come. And again, thank you for your confidence in me to build this for you. :)
Great build on the 1:350 TOS ENTERPRISE. Perfect!!! Well done!
I appreciate you sending the parts very much Eliot! They are very nice and will make it a snap to get nice looking in scale windows. :)
Your speed astonishes me. ... You build those perfect gems so fast it's scary
Thanks for the kind mention! I didn't know you were doing TWO K'Tingas! And two different ones... I have another brass set for the "normal" K'Tinga. I might need to combine them at some point-- but that's why I'm floating these out there.

Thanks Adam. As you know these kits are very fun to work on.

The lights are great, love the lights on the nacelles. I love the shuttle bay, too.
Thank you and I hope you enjoy building the 1/1000 Refit. It is a great kit. :)
Stunning, Boyd! Just stunning.
Another fine piece of art Boyd. She's superb.
Nice job - the TOS Enterprise Still my favorite along with the TOS Klingon Battle Cruiser :)
Thanks Jerry :) Hope your feeling better my friend.

Amazing, astounding and awestriking.
You are certainly the man!.
Fantastic work and build Boyd! Looking forward to the next build series.
WOW that takes modelling to a whole new level in my books! Great stuff :-)
Thanks, a lot of time and effort go into doing a proper Refit with the paint work and other details :)
Thanks Matt. This was a fun build and I'm really excited to get started on the K'tinga kits.
If mine turns out half as good as yours, I will consider it a great achievement on my part.
Very well done sir!
Good golly ms molly! This is the best Enterprise build I've seen so far.
Wow! She's a real beaut! Awesome work my friend!
Thanks my friend. If you have the room for it, I hope you build one of these.
It is a far cry from the old 1/650 amt. :)
The Revell Into Darkness kit is very nice. There is a light set out, but its expensive. Great job on the build. Love your work!
Great. Builds a startrek fans a dream come true
You did very good Job Enterprise
As always awesome work Boyd, i really love the time and the detail you put into models. So keep up the good work.
Absolutely gorgeous! First rate work sir.
I wish it was ME that had commissioned the building of this. I don't think I could EVER do a job even HALF this good
Gorgeous work Boyd!
That is such a beautiful model!
So very cool!

Boyd, you are the man! I understand you already have a day
Cont....job. It seems you have one hell of a work ethic! I really wish I could build one but lighting is a little intimidating. But I'm inspired to try watching you work. Good luck on your future builds! It will be fun watching, I'm sure.
you did a great job!! I am now moved so I am about to start my TOS 1/350 Enterprise soon!
If you look at the edges of the number you can see that it is aligned exactly the same on each side with the grid lines.
Another gorgeous build... I'm sure it's just my eyes, or the angle, but the name and registry look crooked. Dang bad eyeballs. I do love the frosted look on the "cold" engines, and that tiny shuttle w/open door gives me a grin.
Matt Jefferies himself would be proud of what you've created here
This is fantastic! Great job!
Thanks Jason :)
What a beauty!!!!!
Best regards from Mexico City!!
Thank you Ben. :)
Well Boyd, your off to the big times now. I'm sure somewhere down the line build #001 is going to fetch a pretty pennie. Nice job, wish I had it.
Wow! wow. excellent really amazed how much skill have there... she is beautiful ... if only you were in UK ill pay money for you build one for me... GREAT JOB
Just Beautiful! I look forward in doing business with you, seriously! We need to 'speak' in the near future.

~Ben G.
Awesome work!
Thanks.
Beautiful Boyd!
Very possible. You can put virtually anything you want on it.
Fantastic! If you were in the UK I'd def get you to build me one.
Thanks CP :)
Thank you :)
Thanks buddy :)
Question, when you put the halves together, and fill joints how to you touch-up the paint. Or did you fully assemble first then paint
Boyd can we see a side by side of the client enterprise with your master's replica?
Which version of the K'Tinga Class Battlecruiser are you building for yourself?
Will it be the ST: The Motion Picture version, or the revised Star Trek VI version that was Chancellor Gorkon's personal ship? The ST VI version had additional lighting and details on it...
Looks great Boyd! :)
I love the TenaControls bussard effect! What did you use to "frost" the nacelle caps?
Excellent job, nice work. Just wondering what this crystal clear product is for the windows, where I can get it and how to use it. Thanks for your help.
Does the lighting kit from polar lights give you the ability to slow the bussards or did you add something , modify it ? thanks.
So someone asked you to build this. Awesome how much do you charge to do this.. very awesome
That looks amazing! How can I get one built?
Very impressive results. As an intermediate modeler, I'm curious how long this build took you? I'm a little intimidated at attempting this build. What suggestions do you have? Thanks again for the inspiration.

Sure I can build you one. You can go to my TrekWorks Facebook page for my price list and if your still interested send me a message from there.
What were your weathering techniques on the saucer?
do you power all the lights from just 9vs? just bought the revell modell of this going to do it after i finish my romulan warbird which il upload on here after as i think u might like the paint job i done on it :D
Very Very nice buid!!!!!, Boyd love the work you do... I do have a question though..Where might I get those 3d looking figures you used in the 1:350 1701 Enterprise? they look better then the figures from the P.E. set
Congrats Boyd. BTW will the built-in mp3 player feature any Klingon opera...?
Boyd, this is amazing! On a side note, any plans on building the Into the Darkness Enterprise? I believe Revell made a kit in 1/500 scale. Cheers! ^_^
Yes I can ship to Canada. My contact info appears at the end of the video.
Message me there and I'll be happy to give you a quote.

Star Trek is so cool!!
STTMP version. And it's already done. Check out my latest videos to see it built.
Just waiting to mount it on a custom made base.
Awesomeness
Awesome,
How long did it take you to do this project
do you sell and how much
