I don't know what I'm doing here. This video was posted two months after my wife and I lost our first child. The emotions this song brings up... it is very hard to explain. It reminds me of a time of great pain, but at the same time, it brings solace knowing that my daughter is in a better place. Maybe I am here because after two years of mourning, our second daughter will be arriving any day. Maybe I am here because I feel guilty for being so happy to restart our lives. I don't know. But to ThePianoGuys, Thank you for putting up this music. Thank you for helping my wife and I through our struggles. God Bless!
I can't imagine how it has been for you but I admire your strength and hope this new beginning will mend your heart, even if just a little bit. Love that new little one for the both of them. All the hugs for you and your beautiful family. I lost a friend of mine merely less than a month before graduation to a car accident which took her life as well as the lives of her three brothers and sister. Going to graduation, where this song was played, without her was beyond belief. But it also brought the rest of my friends and I closer. It's that strength that we harnessed from each other that made us like titanium. Even if our souls will never be whole again.

I played the piano twenty years ago and even took part in some competitions. Even won. Unfortunately and I am so sorry , have totally forgotten it now. So I live near a pretty wooded area and shit you not there was an old man playing his cello near a small pond...thing was that he only had two strings to work with, the G and the D, but what he played was so beautiful that I had to help him out somehow, so I got him a set of cello strings for him to repair the thing, along with some rosin. He's never returned since, but he did leave behind his cello leaning on a tree with her bow, along with the words, "Thank you. Treat her right." carved on the back. Never stopped playing on it since, though I sound like I have my fingers glued together when I play though.

I've been listen to this song for ten years and I just couldn't get enough of this song! It's awesome!!
So I live near a pretty wooded area and shit you not there was an old man playing his cello near a small pond...thing was that he only had two strings to work with, the G and the D, but what he played was so beautiful that I had to help him out somehow, so I got him a set of cello strings for him to repair the thing, along with some rosin. He's never returned since, but he did leave behind his cello leaning on a tree with her bow, along with the words, "Thank you. Treat her right." carved on the back. Never stopped playing on it since, though I sound like I have my fingers glued together when I play though.
