Bailey Banfield. What a game
Interesting game of footy between the lions and freo. Full credit to freo, the lions thrown everything they could today against them but the likes of Rory Lobb, Aish, Frederick and Banfield have stepped up to the occasion and secured a hard earned thought win against the lions. I am really enjoying watching the dockers play so far this year and if my team (Richmond) can't make finals this year I would love to see Freo go all the way.
If there’s one thing Freo is gonna do, it’s put on a show. 3rd & 4th Q again were 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. The scary thing is that they still have room for improvement. The mids get a lot of praise, but I wanna show some love for Rory Lobb, Will Brodie, Bailey Bainfield, James Aish and Michael Frederick. Spectacular footy. What about those goals 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I love the #Flagmantle hashtag. Genius
Had key players out and still beat the #2 team in the comp, was a great game. We will go far as long as we can consistently hit the score board.
Also we got amazing fans, anyone having a sook about booing obviously is not used to AFL Footy, every clubs fanbase let's the opposition know it..

@@SilentHotdog28 He will have a medium impact to freo not a big impact just a medium impact would be fyfe averagin 15 disposals 5 tackles and a 1 goal per game and a big impact would be 20 disposals 8 score involvements and 1.5 goals per game

It was great to be at the game. However the overall umpiring was ridiculous. They once again “over-umpired” the game. Nevertheless Fremantle’s pressure in the second half was outstanding and they kept the lions controlled

The lions were lazy, undisciplined and looked like they didn’t really care, Freo on the other hand were determined, disciplined and fought for the entire match, they played a great game. I reckon freo can really damage in the finals if not go all the way.
Nah I reckon Brisbane were just as good as we were, we just had that little edge
@@TotalDramaOwenandNoah Brisbane need to work on their defence and not be so lazy and give up fremantle took the advantage and won the game when I thought we were supposed to win it because of our first quarter dominance
@@sports78443 yeah the defence let us down, and somewhat the mids as well, no one manned up and all the freo players were given so much space, but freo were always on their man and that's why they won it because they were more determined and stuck with there, hopefully we can bounce back against the saints.

Ngl this was an actual good game each team had some leading time and overall the game wasn't that scrappy all brisbane need to do is actually turn up for the whole game
If youre a lions fan you might disagree but I think they did turn up for the whole game? 14 points is not a big margin and I think people are so caught in analysing why a team lost we forget sometimes that they still played 4 good quarters of footy. Brisbane were good all day freo was just better when it counted

Goodness me that game was really poorly adjudicated. Good win though. But honestly this sort of officiating is really really shocking.

Some pretty poor editing here, passages of play without going to the end, showing an injury but not the outcome, etc. For people who haven’t seen the game it was substandard. Check out Cricket Australia’s channel to see how highlights ought to be done.

Lions are too offensively minded. So many of those Freo goals all the Freo players were goal side of them when it’s not in you forward half get to the other side of your bloke. hard to run the extra few steps in defence then it is to run those extra steps forward in attack!!

Umpires were horrendous against Brisbane. McCarthy reversal, Adams high tackle then goal. Was shocking. They would never let brisbane go top. And still only lost by two goals. Best team in the comp
