it does kinda seem like the long standing reign of rubber attack tips is over, and i believe this is largely due to the design of the X stadium which no longer has equally spaced KO zones on all sides of the stadium, which makes the flower pattern that rubber tips excel at less useful
Yeah I agree. With how the inner ridges are designed in an X stadium, it's harder/less efficient to flower pattern in, compared to something like a BB-10 stadium, which had the slopes benefit rubber tips.
It’s important to note that this is simply rubber ACCEL. Not Flat or Gear Flat Variants. We may get much better ones later. This would be more useful for aggressive mobile defense.
Honestly the stamina is the problem. X can get over 12k RPMs. That means the rubber is heating while it's rotating and it causes it wear out faster. I started temp measuring mine and the harder you rip the quicker it heats. It would be 5 degrees hotter from just normal rips which the friction just causes it to lose stamina and rubber. Honestly my tip wore down after just a day of testing which is absurd because my Zwei Diabolos only gets 1 degree hotter according to my temp gun and is old and the rubber hasn't worn at all. I agree I don't think it's anywhere near as good as we expected. It's actually kinda sad cause I thought it would be cool to have in comp but it's worse imo than regular Flat or Low Flat. :/
I wish they made a rubber flat or rush instead of an accel, cuz those 16 gears rlly hurt its stamina even more than the rubber. The disc part is genius tho, but it would be so much better with a 12 gear bit
Yeah I feel like, for attack, that reverse rail ride or whatever it's called is pretty crucial a lot of the time. So your opponent can settle in the middle and you can launch harder with less of a chance at self-ko. The only thing I can think of is that OHKO builds with that Tungsten launch might work a little better with rubber. But seems super risky and your opponent should most of the time wise up and avoid the middle as much as possible. I dunno. I hope it's useful for something. Maybe once it wears and gets rounded it might actually be better for something.
Definitely think this generation using rubber for attack is not going to be great. But I think once we get something like the CS tip from mfb or unite from burst those would be a lot better. I think this generation is going to see rubber used more so for defense than attack.
I'm sorry for the people that bought the sets expecting to have a new best attack bit, meanwhile happy for us who can't afford it and thus won't be at an insane disadvantage against the people who can afford it
i believe the idea was to make a bit that can make the lighter blades more viable. less weight = less friction and the momentum is made up for by speed and recoil control, at least in theory. i still think RA fails overall, though the performance on lighter blades might get better after wear. I like the idea of tuning parts to try and "buff" some of the weaker blades.
I love to see the flower movement pattern revived, but well, it doesn't fit to the X gimmicks. X nerfed the rubber capabilities. And this bit natural enemy is the bey that have a high weight. Probably can handle lightweight stamina combo pretty easy, but the higher weight the enemy has, the less they going to be effective. Also because it's a rubber, we can't use them many times in a row because it's going to stick to the stadium once it heated enough. Just like racing cars that needed to be heat enough before race so they won't slip. I hope they fix this before Pegasus remake.
@@farzbz987 I don’t think rubber flat will ever be good for X, the only reason it was good in previous gens was because you had a circular stadium so you wanted the flower pattern to be able to circle through the center. But with x and the stadium design it’s pointless.
@nizumablader yeah. The flower pattern would be 75% less effective than the old stadium, as the KO pockets are all gathered on a one side of a square. And it also will resist the bey from going to the extreme line, the main source of attack in X stadium, as seen in your vid. Gotta but some booster for an accel/flat bit for my future Pegasus then.
Beyblade X seems to be barely be released in US. Hope that changes; kinda don't care to watch Beyblade videos about parts we won't get for...awhile, hopefully not never.
RA ended up being bad. The fact that the rubber bottom is too wide and that it's an accel variant makes it bad. Our only hope now is if they make a Rubber Rush or Rubber Taper or else this is the first time a rubber attack bottom of any kind is not competitively viable.
Wow I knew Rubber Accel wouldn't be good, but i thought there was at least some hope with the elevate like part of the bit, but it's still pretty horrendous. Ill just use regular Accel for the protagonist X-Over beys, once i get tired of trying to make RA work 🤣 it could still be fun though, i don't want to just automatically ignore RA, we just gotta wait and see for more results from our own testings. Also it's weird to see Rubber tips not being meta when they were meta in every other generation
@@りきぴ4649 I largely disregard whatever typing gets slapped onto parts and focus on what things are functionally good at. It may be called a balance bit but it’s probably the best defensive bit currently in the game.
See, I think the challenge is that we are so used to the old meta where we angle launch to ko our opponents due to the 3 openings on the old metal fusion stadiums. But since the new generation has a built in gimmick (the Xtreme line) is designed for KO and not have 3 openings, flat launches are now relevant more than ever. Just saying. 😅
@ It probably had the best shape for lad of the flat bits so far, the issue isn’t the shape the issue is rubber has less stamina than plastic. I don’t think anyone is concerned about spin finishes with rubber flat, it has the worst stamina of any of the bits released minus maybe quake.

While rubber accel is kind of a let down, I think samurai saber's bit will do great on most attackers.
Samurai sabers bit is really good for LAD

I think it's also let down by the height of the beys in X, the force would rather twist the bey off axis rather than move it around the stadium
RA is probably best on lightweight beys for that reason

If TT opted to make a rubber rush bit in the future that might perform better. The surface area of accel just seems to be too much

The main gimmick of X already drains stamina very fast, and the gear number + wide base of RA is just adding oil to the fire

The set does come with another rush though and Tyranno which is great. I think knight might have some utility but need to mess with it more.
Basically if you preorder the anniversary set 3 out of the 4 are gonna act like this and tbh its sad how low stamina it has 😭😭
It is most consistent when it’s worn. It’s too unpredictable when it’s fresh.

I honestly think the best version would be rubber taper which the middle being rubber only so it wouldn't drain as much stamina
Seems like they made the rubber too soft. Maybe they can try again on a rubber rush or something.
The rubber should've been a little less soft and have a small indent in the rubber
